The Colorful Work World
Ch. 123 Positive Covid 2

At the time of dialysis, the mother gets information from the nurse. At that time, my mother was called while waiting for my father to wash his blood.

“Bu hajj, come here briefly” Say sister with a whisper-whisper tone.

“What are the sisters? wear whispers of everything?”

“So like this ma'am.”

The nurse began to tell me the details of the problem she wanted to discuss, especially about the hajj patient who my mother gave her balm the other day. Apparently, he had just died and after investigation.he died of covid.

Of course, my mother became frightened and then asked the nurse to prepare a covid test for my father tomorrow. Because he made close contact with the covid patient.

“Of course mom, tomorrow her Hajj father will be brought here.”

“Well then, thank you sister for the information”

“Sama-sama mother.”

My mom was a little relieved that she could do the test. The test will determine whether my mother and father got covid too or not. But who would have thought, it did not need any tests. The features can already be seen when tomorrow comes.

*The next day, Ray POV*

“Mas...mas. Subuhan first.”

“....Yes mah.”

As usual, I woke up my mother to perform dawn prayers. It is very unpleasant to wake up forced like this. But what can be done, this is an obligation and I should not leave as a follower of Islam. Wudhu I do as usual then I pray as usual.

But something strange happened while I was going to the living room. There, I saw my father being swayed by my mother. This scene should have been seen many times every day. But mother's current facial expression made me have an uneasy feeling.

“Pak..bapak..Wake up. Fajr first!” Mommy said while trying to shake the father's body with increasingly strong energy.

Usually the father although sometimes not wake up, at least give a response such as talking or other actions when being awakened. Especially if you have been awakened too often, can shout angry at my father when awakened to morning prayers. But right now, that's not happening at all.

Many times the mother tried to wake her up, unfortunately it did not work. He began to panic then immediately call om and call the surrounding residents to come to help.

“Dek, please this Haji kang fainted do not wake up! Please anterin to hospital ya!”

“Ready tea, wait ya”

Mother repeatedly called my father's sister, unfortunately the phone he did not connect. Finally he managed to make contact with my om it through his wife. While waiting for his arrival, we were all getting ready to bring the items that had to be taken while going to the hospital.

A few minutes later, came the residents and also the om whom we had asked for help.

“Where is Hajj? Come on everyone, help carry it to the car:” he said while asking for help to residents who came to carry it to the car.

My father has a weight that is not light so it is impossible to be lifted alone. With the help of a few people, the father was finally successfully put in the back door and the mother went along with Arip to the hospital. I myself was assigned to guard the house and the sisters who could not be left behind.

Looking at the health condition of the father, then seen from the story I heard from my mother. It is likely that you have been exposed to covid. He said today he was just getting tested. I also started not feeling well a few days ago. Is this a connection too?

‘Ighfar Ray, don't think ugly. Now is the time to pray health for everyone at home!’ I said in my heart as I woke up my sisters and asked them to wish the best to happen to our family.

While waiting for news, I tried to distract myself by playing the phone. But it was useless and I kept thinking. Although we often quarrel, it is undeniable that I care a lot about your health. My sister and I have warned about a healthy lifestyle. He was always less cared for by his father.

Though Yana will go to medical school, but her father himself did not follow the advice of the prospective doctor. If the advice of his wife and children is not heard, whose advice can enter his ears?

A few hours later, Arip returned home and gave new news about his health.

“Mas, Lamda, Yana. Papah turned out to be positive covid”

“!!!”

Hearing the bad news that came true, all of us as children felt devastated. Arip also told us that in the afternoon there will be a doctor who will come to the house to do a covid test.

“Alright then, while waiting. Let's clean up the stuff you use often. Who knows can get rid of the virus left there.”

The advice from Arip got us all moving and started cleaning. But because I have a meeting, I can not participate in this activity fully. I saw all the sisters working together to clean the house. This is rare because usually we have a maid who comes to clean the house.

The clock kept moving and finally the time of day arrived. We had all had breakfast, but for lunch this time, all the brothers (om-om and auntie) gotong royong helped us by sending food.

“Say later there will be someone who sends eat” My words to the sisters while reading the message on the phone.

“Asik” said my sisters cheerfully.

Hopefully the news about this lunch can at least make them a little entertained. Because our family is in a state of anxiety right now. But my hope was tested again. Because after lunch came, the doctor who was going to check on us had also arrived.

“Good day, hajj mom family huh? I was told I was coming here, right?”

“Oh yes, please go inside bu”

At the entrance of our house, came a doctor who already used a complete PPE coming to our place. Surely the suspicions did not arise at all and we were examined covid one by one. without waiting a long time, the results of the test were already out.

“Alright, it's all positive huh. Don't forget to self-isolate for the next few weeks.”

“Good doctor! Thanks for your help”

“Sama-sama”

The doctor immediately gave permission because the task was finished. It should not linger at home because there is a risk of contracting it as well. After seeing the doctor coming out of the house, we looked at each other and could only laugh a little. Our current condition is like a zombie that must be separated because it can spread disaster to others.

Our struggle for self-isolation against covid.
