Ch. 19 Results of Accreditation

The hard work we have done. All the best efforts we have made to ensure the accreditation assessment gets maximum results. The last thing we can do now is pray as best we can.

Hopefully the value we get is satisfactory. Because the value of accreditation will affect our school in the next few years. Although most parents probably will not choose a school based on accreditation, at least accreditation can slightly add to the opportunity of this school being the school of choice for parents of students.

Even so, we did not have time to be dumbfounded while waiting for the results to come. Because our job as teachers remains the main one. I continue to do Teaching and Learning Activities (***) as usual. Can not take off even though tired after doing the task of doing the accreditation archive.

I could have just given them a task without giving a material explanation. But too often doing this will make other teachers unhappy because it seems I am too lazy. The assignment is only the last step when something happens that I cannot delay. For example, when I am sick or there is urgent family business.

Several weeks have passed since the accreditation assessment was conducted. Finally the expected result has come. Wrapped with a neat envelope. The value of our school accreditation. Of course, the principal and vice principal are the first people to open the value. After reading their grades, they gathered all the teachers and staff together. All the school staff gathered in the teacher's room.

“Thank you for the presence of the father of the mother of the teacher board and the staff of TU here. This meeting I will discuss the results of the assessment of the accreditation team that has come a few weeks ago.” With a tense face the principal begins the meeting with the opening. Some of the other teachers' faces were also quite tense. Especially those that have a big influence on valuations such as kajur and the chairman of the accreditation management team.

“With this letter the accreditation team states that…. Our school gets grades...B” Kepsek read out the value we got for accreditation this period.

‘Haaah, we can B it turns.’ murmured me in heart. I also saw that the other teachers also had varying expressions. Some are ordinary, some are a little moody, but there are also cheerful faces. Somehow why is there a story on his face, maybe he is relieved because the accreditation problem is over? I didn't get to ask the staff about this.

“It's okay dad mom. We should be thankful that we don't get bad grades. Hopefully, in the future we will get better results. I know we've all done our best.” Speak to the secretary while talking about something else before dissolving the meeting.

Indeed, the president's speech is very entertaining but I am still confused what the work of the secretary in the assessment this time. Is it just signing and giving orders? I as an honest teacher did not see him working during this period.

“What about the process of making the father mother's teaching documents? everything is in order?” The director continued the conversation on the next topic.

Documents that the principal refers to are SKL, KD, and other documents. As senior teachers, most of them only took the documents last year and replaced the year alone. The contents of their documents did not change much. As long as the government does not issue new competency tests.

This is very difficult for me as a new teacher. Because I've never made this document before. Other teachers mostly can not help because they also have to do other tasks. As a result, I had a delay in making this document. Fortunately the director understood this and did not charge me any further. Moreover, my status as a substitute teacher shouldn't have to make this up. Because the teacher is still the one who usually makes the document.

After the secretary finished discussing the agenda, he returned to his room and we teachers returned to our respective jobs. Despite our meetings, the *** activity still has to go on schedule.

A few days after this incident, the chief suddenly asked us to come together.

“What's bu kepsek? is there a new announcement to make?” Ask one of the teachers to the principal. Unlike the previous meeting, this time the headmaster had a more cheerful face.

“Alhamdulilah” Everyone in the meeting said the same sentence. We are all grateful that we got the best value. Not many schools get this grade. Especially schools with minimal facilities like ours.

“Why can it be like that bu?”

“I also do not understand, but yesterday the school got an announcement for the correction of the accreditation assessment.”

I don't know what caused this to happen. Did the assessment team make a mistake? or they make other considerations after reviewing our school grades. As far as I know, we did nothing else after getting this grade. We do not contact the assessment team to improve our value. I know we don't use dirty ways either. I don't know what's going on behind this. But it was like a dream of our school getting an A.

With this value hope we can later use as ammunition in our school promotion during the New Student Admission (PSB). I heard by the end of this year we will start to make a committee for this activity.

“Thank you for your hard work. Thanks to the work of all of us, we can finally get an A value for this time period.” The principal congratulated and thanked all of us. Unfortunately there was one person who was not present, Rangga. He has quit as a staff member of this school. It looks like there will soon be a new staff replacing his vacant position.

In addition to Rangga, there are other staff who moved the workplace. Because he got a new job. The name of the staff was Napri, he worked as a computer laboratory officer. I will discuss this on another occasion. The story of this staff is quite interesting to tell.

We were all delighted after hearing this happy news. Obviously we are very happy where we work to get satisfactory value. But I personally look forward to whether the commission we get increases along with this increased valuation? only time can answer.

The headmaster immediately left after a short chat with the other teachers. Because I don't like to talk much, I just listen to them. I don't want to hear them because they're in the same room. It is difficult to prevent them from starting as usual.

“father mom, come here to take accreditation commission” One of the teachers announced this. Finally the commission we were looking forward to came. I've been looking forward to this.

“I want to take my share bu.” I went straight to the teacher after seeing that there were no more teachers waiting in line to take. Queuing is a boring thing so I wait for an empty situation to take a commission. Rather than tired of waiting, it is better to wait when the queue is empty. After all, even though he took it last, it is unlikely that the incident of his commission will disappear. Unlike when waiting in line to buy discount goods.

‘Pak Ray yes, sign here sir. This is his commission.” I signed the commission absences and took the given envelopes. Any commission like this should have signatures and absences. As evidence that the commission has been taken by the person concerned. It's not funny if the commission is misaddressed. There may be a dispute later.

At first glance I also saw commissions from others. The chairman of the committee certainly gets more rations from committee members like me .But I was a bit unhappy when the principal whose work I did not see in real terms but earned the highest commission. I can only be honest with my mind. Hopefully one day I can also get more money from the principal commission.

Although the amount of commission is not as expected (smaller than expected). I can't be happy and I have to be grateful for what's there. Not to forget I also always set aside some treasures to be devoted. This is my tradition every time I get money. Because he said there are some sustenance of people who are entrusted to us so that they have to make as many donations as possible.

God will surely repay us many times over. Unlike the tip of money to people can be taken away from the money.
