The Colorful Work World

The Colorful Work World
Ch. 37 Holidays in Jogja 2

"Take the book one or two. Don't do much" said my mother to all her children.

Since I've been working, I don't get rations bought for books. If there's a book I need, just buy it myself. But because parents offer book payments. My body automatically moved to one bookshelf.

Not a comic book shelf, this time I chose to buy a book for the civil service test. I am still confused by this country, the entrance test is difficult but once entered even the work is not right. Do they feel there is a shortage in income so it is more lazy when working?

Of course not all staff, only some OKNUM only do it. All average fields have their own elements. Either from the village staff to the province. It is possible that public school teachers are in every region.

I remember there was once a teacher who, if ever, was always talking about the Olympics. Many students are remed. But I heard, he also opened tutoring or bimbel material that he taught. Because that's usually what passes the exam, only students get lessons from it. Whether it includes cheating or not. At that time I was just an ordinary High School student who was still innocent and did not know the outside world.

The presence of this OKNUM is not only in public servants. Maybe there is somewhere else too. I wish I never dealt with them. Allah is fair, and when it is time, they will be rewarded for what they do.

As the saying goes, "what you plant, that's what you reap. " Be assured one day, the bad action will return to the perpetrator. Either it will come soon, or someday in the future.

"Mom, I bought this. Who knows, there will be a civil service entrance test. " Tell me while showing me the book I chose.

"May son, do not forget to read later. "

After putting the book in the shopping bag. I went to the location where my sister was to see what they were buying.

If you do not know, this gra*edia store usually has its own shopping bag. It is usually black or red with their store logo. Those of you who often buy many books do not have to bother carrying them empty-handed.

But of course make sure you bring the goods in accordance with your abilities. Because if not, then even the hassles bring it when it reaches home. The book if stacked, the weight is not playing. It may be true the saying “mu is expensive price and heavy contents”.

First I went to Yana's place. This time he went to the novel rack. Many Indonesian novels and translations are on this shelf. Because my sister is a girl, as usual, she buys novels according to her gender and age. Unfortunately, the genre that I buy is a bit less in line with my taste. So the possibility for me to borrow a novel that he bought quite a bit.

There's no way my parents and I would let my sister buy an erotic novel in her teens. It will be fatal if we enjoy something that is not in accordance with our age. After confirming what book Yana bought, I continued going towards mother.

Mom as usual goes to the cooking rack. Although in the end he did not buy any books, because my mother was lazy to cook. Busy work morning to noon.

When she came home from work, she only cooked when her body was not tired. When parents are tired of our labor, we force this and that cooking. That's what makes my mom rarely buy cookbooks. But usually when he starts cooking, the cooking must be delicious. I look forward to such a moment every day. Rather than buying outside, it's better for mom's cooking.

As usual, I went to various places. This time he was interested in the business of the workshop. That's why it went to the automotive genre shelf. I can only smile at my father. I usually buy but forget to read. There were already some books I saw at home still wrapped in plastic neatly. It seems like the father has not touched at all.

Last time I saw my sister Lamda, she was just like Yana went into the novel genre. The novel he chose was bold. Viewed from the cover and the book. Most likely this book is the story of a Greek goddess god.

I wonder why he chose a book like this. Though usually when opening Youtube he only saw if not anime yes youtube about the game. Why suddenly turn a book around like this. It was probably just a momentary feeling that he chose this novel. I saw that the book he bought was quite thick.

Hopefully this book has no adult rating. Because stories about mythology can be given erotic spice to make the reader more interested. Human creativity sometimes knows almost no bounds so that obscurity.

My sister Arip is the same as me. Not choosing a comic book but he was looking for a book to support his lecture.Because he studied engineering, he bought several books that seemed difficult to understand. He didn't get me into comic trouble.

I usually choose what comics to buy. Arip only joined steel if curious. He almost never bought comics on his own initiative, unlike me.

After everyone has chosen the book according to choice, we combine it into one bag and then queue at the cashier. Instead of bothering to wait many times, it is better to combine into one bag and pay simultaneously.

Cashless generation is certainly quite happy to use this feature. No need to bother carrying large amounts of paper money in the wallet. Just pay with the card. I don't know if one day I'll follow in their footsteps. But it looks like it won't happen anytime soon.

"Welcome to Gra*edia, this is just the bookkeeper you want to buy." Ask the cashier kindly and smile

"Yes, that's enough" I returned his smile and watched closely the process of scanning the book barcode.

The cashier scans the barcodes in the book one by one. The goods in this place all already have barcodes, so there is no need to calculate the value of goods manually. Finished checking all the books, the total price of the books I bought appeared on the cash register.

"Notale .. rupiah. Pay cash or by card."

"Just pay" I replied while giving money according to the amount stated.

We immediately rushed home after we finished buying the desired book. The burden of the book we bought was quite heavy as well. Will all the books be read by the person who bought them?

The trip in Jogja is quite funny and interesting.Sometimes departing is fast, but the way home is longer than I leave. This is because traffic is quite complex. Some trails are only one way and there are also many mouse paths.

If you have memorized the way of Jogja, it will be easier when going anywhere. For the streets of Jogja city I am less well memorized. Because I hang out more in the North of Jogja. I rarely go downtown. I had my own motor at the time. Memorized once myself about the main area of Jogja.

We want to go home early because the sisters want to read the book they bought. I just want to play like normal. Because on the laptop there are still some games that I have not played.

While on the road I saw there were many tourists passing here and there. With a different skin color to the Indonesians and more revealing clothes than the locals.

I don't know what the attraction of Jogja for bule for a vacation here. Do they want to know the history ? Or because of the palace? Baby I don't have a bule friend so I can only guess. If Bule in Bali, they are indeed eyeing the beach for sunbathing. Because the sun there is hotter than in India.

After we got home, we all ate dinner and continued our usual activities. Sometimes talking to grandma while gathering in one room. After dinner, I continued to play for a while before going to bed.

*The next day*

"Father, ma'am, want to take a walk to the mole" My sister Yana suddenly wants to go to the mole.

Different from the mole in my hometown. In Jogja the moles are on average bigger and better. Mol is our goal to go every stop by Jogja. Especially now that the mole in Jogja is enough. Because in our family, no one likes a walk to a historical place like a museum or tourist spot.

Rough count of approximately 5 moles in Jogja. By the time I went to college, all the moles I've been to. Some I routinely go to, some I rarely enter.

Usually what I often go to is a mole that has a cinema in it. Not just a movie theater, but a movie theater that shows Japanese movies. Especially anime movies that have recently started to enter Indonesia. It was a wonderful time watching the anime with my underclassman Gusti.

One of the reasons I want to find a job in Jogja is because the movie theater is not in my city working right now. But I don't think that should be a problem. I'm sure someday, movies can legally be watched online. If the time comes, it is only a matter of whether my house has a stable internet connection or not.

See a sister who wants to go for a walk. All the members prepared themselves to go outside. Starting from bathing, wearing good clothes, and other things.

We just left when everything was ready. More or less we leave when we pray Dzuhur and before lunch. Because we want to have lunch at the mole. What would you eat there? There should be a lot of culinary choices that we can choose in the shopping center. But the price is also not playing, must prepare enough costs to enjoy it.
