The Colorful Work World
Ch. 152 Tours to Jogja

During the school holidays, my mother offered me a walk to Jogja.

“Mas, want a vacation not to Jogja? The place is exciting-seru loh”

Mom told us we'd go anywhere for recreation this time. Unlike during the holidays, usually if we stop by Jogja, mostly just stand by at Yangti house. We're not going anywhere. If for the school trip this time, we have a tourist destination that we will visit by bus.

Even though I don't like house families, if there's a long road event like this. I don't want to have to come. Because there's no way I'm leaving mom alone. You are no longer there, so I have to change my mother. Yana and Lamda will also be on the road this time. Arip did not come because he could not vacation and had to work. While I am still on vacation because until now I still have not got a job.

“I'll come, then.” I said with a slightly lazy tone.

“Thank you, mas. Later when the day arrives, do not forget to get ready”

“Ok”

*Some months later*

Finally the time of departure has come. This time, we started going to a gathering place in the morning. After the dawn service, we just started getting ready like bathing and dressing up. For luggage and other luggage we have prepared at night.

As always, besides myself and Arip. My other siblings are hard enough to get up early. Because they are now often literate until night. This is what makes it difficult for them to wake up early. We had to worship at that time.

After the drama got ready to finish, we finally started heading to where the bus was going. We used a private vehicle to get there. I happen to be holding the steering wheel now. If for a trip in the city, mother has allowed and I also have the courage to do it. But the same is not true for out-of-town travel, I still have to need a lot of practice.

Arriving there, we immediately parked our car and joined the group to get on the bus. But since there are still participants who are not present, we still have to wait for them to get here. It is usually the case, the late member - that is the person, does not change.

“Good fathers mothers. Let's get in the car” Shouted the committee in the direction of us all.

Hearing those instructions, I went straight inside along with my mother and sisters. Of course I also brought our luggage. For bags like suitcases and clothes, we put everything in the trunk. The rest we have to bring. Especially for small bags that contain HP. There's no way I'm putting it in the trunk. Prone to disappear later.

After all the participants boarded the bus, the committee checked if everyone had boarded. One by one the heads of the family were called. I was quite surprised when I heard my father's name. Because the family is still in the name of the father. It was sad that he had been dead for several months. But I still have to be excited to live my life in the future

The trip to Jogja will be done before this month. At the time you were alive, there was already a discourse that he wanted to come to Jogja as well. Though his physical condition does not support him to travel in a group like this. Honey, he's not in this world anymore. I also replaced my father and went for a tour this time.

“Sip, everything is complete. Let's go. Let's pray first”

All the passengers of the bus started praying in their hearts. Hopefully, this trip will be safe for us. During the trip, I only heard music and occasionally chatted with Lamda who was beside me. The mother of the chair was a bit away from me so we could not easily chat in the bus.

The bus we boarded had a total of 50 seats. Divided into 2 2 seats. Of course, it is full AC and there is also a WC to urinate. You should not smoke on the bus because there is no room for smoking. Everyone uses AC.

I also had time to sleep when it was tired and while on the road also had a drink Anteng for the trip to run smoothly. Anteng is an herbal syrup that is usually drunk so as not to catch a cold. Very useful for long journeys. Somehow now if the road is far not drinking it feels the body can drop at any time. Only after drinking Anteng, the body becomes relaxed and more eager to move.

On the way also interspersed with passengers one by one singing with karaoke that has been prepared. It is difficult to sleep in such a situation. There is one passenger who really doyan sing, if the mic he has held, very difficult he released it. I have absolutely no intention of singing so that's not a problem for me.

From the city of C to Jogja, the journey lasts approximately 12 hours more. At lunch, we stopped at a rest area to eat and worship first. I also nyetok Anteng and onigiri which I share also for mother, Lamda, and Yana. All of those items I can get easily from buying at minimarket.

Finished from the rest area, we continued our journey to Jogja. At night, we finally arrived at the hotel. Arriving at the hotel, one by one passengers get off the bus and drop off their luggage. I also took things down and walked to the dining hall, where we had dinner.

Seeing that there was already a line forming, Lamda and I started marching to pick up food for today. Pretty bored also have to wait in line like this. But for the smooth running of all of us, we have to queue in a good and right way.

After dinner, we took the keys to our room. Then we took the elevator to the floor where my room was. It just so happened that my room with my mother was one floor apart. We had a little trouble meeting.

Arriving in the room, we put our belongings and then perform worship and shower first. Because the body is tired, I decided to rest in the room, while playing HP games before going to bed. And Lamda…

“Mas, I'm going out for a walk. Can I?”

“Hm? okay, just a second. Mas change clothes first.”

“No being a mas then”

Hearing Lamda's reply. I began to feel astonished, the child is still 14 years old already pretentious to go for a walk in a foreign place alone. Indeed, at home he is often the path of muters is not clear. But it is rather dangerous if it is washed in this place.

Judging from the look on his face, it seems that he really does not want to be accompanied when going for a walk. Faced with this situation, I can only call mother first.

“Tuuts..Trowels. Yes Ray, what's up?”

“Begini bu..”

I began to tell her about Lamda's current condition. About how he wanted to go around alone without me being with him. Hearing this, mother fell silent for a while and then said.

“Alright then, try giving her phone to Lamda.”

After Lamda received my HP, he started talking to mother about this matter. In the end, Mother allowed Lamda to go out on one condition. Can't get out of the hotel. It is only allowed to move to this hotel.

“Be careful on the road ya nak”

“Good bu” Lamda hung up the phone then gave her phone back to me.

“I go first yes mas.”

“Ok, be careful on the road ya”

When Lamda was out the door, I went back to playing with my HP. In my heart I prayed that Lamda would not do strange things. A few minutes later, Lamda returned to his room. It looks fresher than before.

“Mas, do you know what I was doing?”

“Wew, mas so curious. Why are you earlier?”

Lamda began to recount his adventures as he exited the room. He said that there were a lot of people gathered at the top of the hotel. Looks like there's a concert or something. He also told me about where he went and what he met.

Satisfied to tell the story, Lamda finally returned to playing HP and then slept while drowsy. I also sleep after this body is tired all day trip.

Today is a full day trip by bus to this place. This is a time of rest for tomorrow's event. Where will I go tomorrow?
