Ch. 67 Ramadan & Eid 2

Beres was performing the feast day prayer. What do you usually do with your family? Are you back to your usual activities and busy with your own business? Or do you do an activity together with other family members?

My family did a few things after the feast. First of all, when we got home, we waited until everyone got together. Because the mothers usually pray longer because they have to take care of the children first.

Whether it's asking for a way to muter-muter first or ask for something snacks while on the way. Because it is usually that the fathers have been waiting quietly in the house. But there are times when we are stranded outside, because the key is carried by the mother-female.

When we got together, we did the photos first. Because usually at the time of Eid, everyone uses good and new clothes. Taking photos is one of the things we do when we are dressed up.

Then we did halal bi halal activities. Everyone apologizes to each other for being born to the whole family. Usually done in sequence from the oldest, to the youngest. Then march to each other's hands with each other.

I was in the middle because my mother was the fourth child. Unlike the father who was the first child. When halal bi halal is finished, we again do family photos.

The photo shoot is over, we continue with the dinner. Lebaran moments like this must have prepared a delicious dish. Notabene opor and ketupat is the ultimate combination when undergoing a holiday. I really enjoyed both of those meals.

"Where is Ray the opor? Good no? " Ask Eyang while I was eating at the dinner table.

"Yang Son, it's delicious. " I answered while tasting the opor on the table.

After eating, we made a friendship to our brothers who were in Jogja. Traveling around the city we always do when the moment of Eid. Because of the large number of brothers, I did not memorize all their names. Even if I see their faces, they should still remember.

When I was a child, I was usually quiet and rarely showed my face and talked to people. When I entered the world of college and work I just started trying to change by starting to talk to the elderly and memorize their names one by one.

Before visiting the family home, we visited the tomb of Yangkung. My grandfather was my mother's father. He died when I was in 3rd grade. Less than 15 years ago.

At that time I was still confused as to why the parents were crying. But when I grew up I only realized that it was a moment of mourning for losing one of the figures they loved.

Grandfather's tomb is located in an area that enough must go into the alley. Fortunately, the car was still able to enter this place. Otherwise, bother later every want to pilgrimage here. Our car parked first and the rest of the journey to the tomb we did on foot.

After the pilgrimage, we went to the brothers' house.  There was one of the brothers who lived close to the tomb we had just visited.

"Eh, it's on coming, let's go in." Said the homeowner when he found out we had just finished the pilgrimage and would be coming to his house.

We entered one of the brothers' houses we were headed to. Since we were just from night, everyone had to wash their hands and feet first. To clean the dirt or germs that stick when doing the pilgrimage.

In addition to the streets, more or less that's what I did while undergoing the Eid al-Fitr holiday. Every year. Nothing changes as far as I know. Because indeed I am the person who does not like to go out, prefers to do activities inside the house. A few days later, we had to go back to work. Because the holiday time is coming to an end.

The only difference I've noticed is that everyone is getting older every year. Sometimes there are some brothers who are gone and there are some new brothers who are born. That is the wheel of life. No one can avoid death and absolutely must not forbid a baby in the womb to be born into the world.

A moment like this my heart is quite worried. Between happy and unhappy to be able to carry out Lebaran at the birthplace of my mother. Some things make me happy and also sad when carrying out Lebaran in this place.

My mom and dad made a deal. To at least go to Jogja every year two or three times. This is during the holidays and the end of the semester. Because only at that moment all family members have more than a week off.

It was a pleasure to have a vacation in that school town. Can meet with many relatives, can take a walk, and enjoy a vacation with a different atmosphere outside the city.

But I really don't like to travel far. Fatty once spent more than 12 hours just to get to Jogja. It's better to get on a plane. It only takes an hour.

Unfortunately, to go to family. It is impossible to use the plane because the cost will be too expensive. If we range back and forth from Jogja need a cost of 700,000 per person, it means for my entire family amounted to 6 people, come out with money of 4,200,000 rupiah.

I think that amount is a bit of a pity if only for the cost of transportation. That is why we have never used a plane for family vacation transportation. Saving is important, if there are expenses that can be cut, that option will be chosen.

During that tens-of-hours journey. I could only sleep, listen to music, or see the sights along the way. Unfortunately, at night, there is absolutely no sight to see. Because humans are not used to seeing in the dark.

When I was in Jogja. There are times when I don't go anywhere. Either because the family is tired of being lazy out or other reasons. At this moment I usually play games on my favorite laptop that I have.

By the time I started working, this laptop was a gift from my parents with a donation from my grandfather. Buy me one of the decent gaming laptops of his time. The game I'm playing this time is a shooting game with zombies.

I don't usually buy American games. This series is one I follow. That's why I still buy it. The main factor is due to the discount on Stom. If not discount, definitely not buy.

The price of official games for PC is quite expensive, especially AAA games like this. Other than a high spec laptop, it is impossible to play this game. Because it is indeed the game world must have enough capital to be able to play more variations of the game. There is no way a potato laptop can play new games that require high specs.

Although gaming laptops, so that when playing do not experience lag. Must be done while plugging the charger. Somehow it does not happen, maybe because it is for games that need high performance, must have high electrical power as well.

Gaming laptops also have shortcomings, in addition to the price is less popular. The weight of this laptop is usually quite heavy. Rough calculation alone is approximately almost 5 kilograms in weight. Taking him on a trip was also quite troublesome.

I'm so sorry about this laptop. Because I'm so happy to play PC games from the past. But it seems like fate says something else. Because of an incident, I have to say goodbye to my beloved laptop.
