The Colorful Work World
Ch. 168 Paid Class

After teaching a large Demo class. I finally got the email I was looking for. All the teachers in Darka were always waiting for this email to come to their email.

[Congratulations to Ray for getting a new student! ]

"This.. Really this!? " I was shocked when I opened the laptop and checked the incoming email.

There was an email telling me that I got a new student. After I investigated, this email indicated that finally from the student I taught the demo, there was a conversion.

Every teacher in Darka gets their own email and often gets up-to-date information about the company or about teaching at the zoom.

I saw this one disciple whose name was Ades. He was in 3rd grade in SD and he said he loved learning coding. I'm so happy to finally get the coveted student. The schedule for this paid class depends on the student.

For this Ades choose to tutoring on Friday and Sunday. A rather rare schedule is used for tutoring. This is what makes students bad. His schedule varies, because his students are decisive. Teacher can not determine the schedule unless first nego with student parents.

Although there is a holiday that I choose (monday), the schedule of teaching that every day sometimes makes the body weak. Fortunately because it is online so that my energy is not exhausted for the trip, just focus on just teaching. But still, if you have taught like that all day. The throat is getting tired too.

But the most difficult is when there is an impromptu event then there is a paid schedule that I must attend. Because it is different from the Demo class, the rations for the paid class cancel are less. That caused a lot of trouble to teach classes and attend events at the same time.

If there is a choice not to attend the event, I prefer to teach only. Because I can get money from there. Most family events can only eat and be hurt. There is often no mention of fellow brothers. More harm than benefit.

Paid teaching is also different. With a longer teaching duration and different pay with demo classes. This incentive led to many teachers looking for paid students. Until taking from another teacher.

Not a few cases of paid students taken by others. So many, until I give up on taking care of it if it happens. Only surrender to the Almighty. Because I have also had this kind of thing several times.

Just like a demo student. There are also paid students who are good to teach, some are difficult to teach. It just so happened that the child named Ades who was my first child paid was included in the category of students who are difficult to teach. Because he is still mostly focused on playing. It's a little difficult to tell SD children to learn coding.

Ades belongs to the students whose difficulty is easiest. Because he is still in 3rd grade. Early in teaching, he was quite enthusiastic and active in learning. But over time, he grew bored and was very difficult to teach. Especially if when teaching Ades become a benchmark for evaluation materials. Its value can make was was.

Darka also provided the results of a one-month evaluation twice. Assessment is different for demo classes as well as paid classes. Karen both have different assessment variables with paid classes having more complex assessments. Of course, because the evaluation is in the form of an assessment, against the minimum value that must be achieved by all teachers. If there is a substandard evaluation score, there will be additional training for the teacher.

The teacher is not allowed to teach demo classes during his training. This is what Darka does to ensure the quality of his teachers are maintained with good quality. Lucky during my teaching in Darka, I never got a substandard eval. I was happy when I got that grade. Because it signifies the quality of my teaching counted well by them.

Getting an assessment like this also made my teaching spirit improve. I have to make sure that I perform in top form every time I teach. Starting from having to always smile when teaching, to mastery of the material must be good in order to teach better than ordinary teachers. There is a lot to prepare.

It feels like if I get a lot of things in working in Darka, I train communication skills, coding skills, and a lot of training that Darka prepares to improve his employee skills. Although with a little coercion and threat to take additional classes to add skills in LMS (Learning Management System).

Most felt the difficulty during a long vacation or being outside the house. Because the device taught him sophisticated using a PC. This is what makes me difficult when I have to teach outside the home using a makeshift laptop. Because the gaming laptop I once owned has been lost due to the flood that hit Tangerang.

The green screen I have is also only at home, so I cannot use a good background when outside. Inevitably, this will reduce the evaluation value, because the background when teaching is also assessed when doing a zoom class.

Once upon a time getting classes for Ades, he took tutoring on Sundays. It just so happened that I was on the beach because there was a family event. Inevitably, I had to set up a laptop to teach the disciple. Good thing I brought a laptop because there is a feeling will get impromptu news like this. Otherwise, it could be class and later I would get a penalty.

But from those difficulties, there must be something fun while teaching in Darka. Especially when the payment of wages that are not difficult to do. Because all transfers and just sit there waiting for transfer. Although it is indeed a rather long delivery date because it is from India. So usually the salary payment is around the 7th and above.

Coupled with TL lead Steven who is very friendly and arguably as the dream boss. Hopefully I will get a great leader like this.

I worked for about 5 months there. Actually I personally enjoy working in this Darka. But unfortunately, fate says something else. Because I received a call to return to be a teacher of SMK. I don't know what the final decision should be in this situation.
