"wahm.." I woke up after hearing the phone alarm.

Because it has entered the dawn prayer time. I performed the morning prayers as usual and built another family for the morning prayers. Mother had already woken up first and father as usual was still difficult to wake up. The other siblings mostly follow in the footsteps of the father.

I left earlier than usual today. Because I'm on the committee for the midterms this time. According to the teacher who had been a committee before, there are times when parents of students have come in the morning to make payments and take exam cards. Very excited they are ready to go to school early in the morning. I don't know why they're paying so soon close to exam time. Where have they been yesterday?

"Morning sir. " I greet the guards guarding the school gate. Usually he is the one who will close the gate if there are students who are late.

"For ray sir. " After giving my greetings park my bike in the usual place, I looked at the TU room first before entering the teacher's room. Because it is close to the teacher's room. From the entrance of the teacher's room I can already see the state of the current TU room. Exactly as we thought, this morning there are already many who are waiting in line to pay for school fees and take exam cards.

In this process usually parents who immediately pay and take the card. Then he handed the card to his son. Unfortunately sometimes there is also a child who is lost, so he lost his card. Want to not want them will definitely get bogem scolding from parents.

Most mothers of parents are students who queue up. There are also fathers, but not as many as mothers. Usually, all the affairs of the child are held by the mother. I don't know what the reason is, maybe because if most of their fathers have gone to work in the morning.

I walked into the teacher's room and saw all the organizers start packing because the exam was about to begin. As the committee, I also have to help them condition the place before the exam takes place. Starting from arranging the teacher table so that it can be used comfortably by the committee, removing question papers and answer sheets, to ensure the exam process runs smoothly until the exam time is finished.

Our school still takes a week to run UTS. From Monday to Saturday. Because pupil hours have two time zones, morning and noon. Inevitably we have to standby from 06 am to 05 pm. In less than 10 hours we had to standby. Then the next day we have to standby for the same period of time.

Without dedication, no one would be willing to do that. Especially with a good salary. Even though the teacher said he was an unsung hero, if he only had a makeshift salary, how could they eat. What is the name of the hero can not eat? I think teachers should get the attention they deserve. Although one of the officials said, his salary teacher was small but his guarantee was heaven. In the world, they need to eat, right? Hopefully in the future Indonesian education can be more advanced.

while we were preparing for the exam, the principal walked into the room and came to check on the progress of the midterms.

"For my mother, how are the exam preparations going, done?" The headmaster came and asked us about the exam preparation as a committee.

"It's done, ma'am. There are still some people who have not taken the exam card." Answer the head of the UTS committee to the principal.

"Good then. Hope everything is good, father." After sitting down and chatting for a while with the other organizers and teachers. The principal returned to his room. The principal's job to date is still quite mysterious to me.

They have a lot of principal seminar activities, to improve their abilities. Every document of school activities must be signed. In addition to their salary, they also receive benefits. Even though when school activities they sometimes come just to accompany them, not do a lot of work. But I've seen glimpses of their salaries are quite not counted from the commission. Probably more than the teachers.

Even so, because I was never the principal. The burden must be different. As principals, every policy they make will affect the fate of the school they lead. If good they will get a lot of praise, when bad they will certainly get a lot of blasphemy. I think all things must be balanced, there is no way we will get a high salary if the work we do is not at high risk as well.

‘Enough, there is no need to think strange-strange’ Innerku while shaking his head. We continue our work to take care of the exam procession. The arrival of the principal should not make our work disturbed.

The principal's own room is located inside the TU room, in a corner. So if you want to go in there, we have to go through the TU room first. That's why the headmaster could stop by the teacher's room when he was about to walk to his office. Every teacher must be excellent to prevent looking unprepared when the principal visits.

Fortunately the principal usually does not stop by because the car park is closer directly to the principal's room than the teacher's room. Using the school car, he went from his home to school. I was also confused about how the school car was treated. Can the principal travel from home to school? or should it only be worn when there is a school activity? It's still a mystery to me.

The sound of the bell coming in has been echoing. The students looked serious and tense while reading the textbooks. They prepare their stationery after the bell rings and take advantage of the little time available to read as many lessons as they can today.

Slowly one by one the teachers began to enter into their respective spaces. Not only teachers are supervisors. Some TU staff also get rations to supervise. Surely every supervisor will get a commission also after the exam is completed.

“Hah, finally sorted out all. just get ready for the test hours to 2” After finished sharing all the supervisor schedule for the first hour. We were getting ready for the exam the next hour.

While waiting for that time, we as the committee must be ready to be on standby if something happens during the exam. There could be a lack of answer sheets, no snapshots during math lessons. And other problems that arise must be resolved immediately for the test conditions are conducive. That's why we always online WA in case any problems arise.

Unfortunately when I became a teacher, my cellphone is old enough to slow down when opening WA. As a result there were some moments when the supervisor sent the problem but I did not read. Luckily, there was another team that reminded me. They also do not blaspheme immediately when I do not read the problem immediately.

Indeed, if today one million dollars can buy hp. Although it will not be sophisticated and can play heavy android games. Even light games can't be on my current phone.

"Sir Ray, room ten is short of twin answers. Go there immediately" said one of the teachers, giving me the answer paper.

I quickly headed to the room. It was far from the teacher room. I had to go up three floors before I could get there. Up and down from the teacher room is enough to make the body tired. It is good for light exercise.

"This is the answer paper." I gave the paper to the supervisor in the room.

Some of the students in front joked to me to give them cheats. I just laughed and asked them to be more focused and thorough again in working on the problem. Because they can actually be able to work but slightly wrong due to lack of accuracy.

I returned to the committee room after I finished giving the answer paper. Besides me, there are also other officers who pass each class one by one.

They also check if the name listed on the table is the same as the exam card carried. For fear that there are cards or tables that are switched. Usually during the first hour the committee does this.

Unfortunately I did not get this task so I do not understand how this attendance process is done. But I have no problem in this process.

After the exam, all the students put on different faces. Some smile with relief because they managed to do soall well. There are also those whose faces are increasingly wrinkled because of the difficulty in answering questions.

For those whose value is less they will get remedial later. After the morning exam was over, we took a break first before resuming work as a committee.

Daytime is more or less the same as when in the morning. But the organizers and supervisors were more tired because they had been watching than this morning.

The faces of the students more or less experienced no difference with the morning ones. Some were nervous before the exam but some were calm-faced as well. Or are they just pretending to be calm?

Bell's voice had signaled the exam was over. Everyone in the school was ready to go home. Usually students go home faster because they immediately run away after finishing working on the problem. While the committee came home last because there are still some things that we have to take care of.

There are students who come out quickly because they are able to do problems well. But there are also those who come out because they are too dizzy and just resigned to answer as much as possible.

I talked to some of the students and teachers who had left the class. Before Maghrib arrived, I was ready to go home. Because I want to have dinner with my family.

The activity of being a committee is quite heavy. Because this is still the first day and also this time I became a committee. Hopefully tomorrow I can undergo the task of the committee more easily and smoothly without any obstacles.
