The Colorful Work World
Ch. 125 Positive covid 4

“Hmm...” I woke up when I realized that the sunlight was shining into my eyes.

My eyes were open and it was seen that now you have arrived at the Bogor public hospital. Somehow the trip to here before, because I fell asleep due to travel fatigue and also because I was experiencing covid. Luckily, Maman was able to take us safely.

I saw beside me that Maman was still sitting in the driver's seat with the windows and doors open. The glass on my left side was also open just like the two windows in the middle seat. After looking at the situation around the car, I realized that mother was not there.

“Mother where is om?” I asked Maman who was sitting next to me.

“Your mother again takes care of your father's administration, again in him.”

“Oh”

I fell silent after getting the information I was looking for. Then I looked at my phone to see the current time.

“Walah, no longer this way. No more dawn prayers.”

The clock shows at 08 a.m. Automatically I was cleared to perform dawn prayers because it was past the time. But since I just woke up, it shouldn't be a problem to replace it right now. When I was about to leave the house and look for the nearest mosque, then I remembered my current condition.

Because now I'm covid, I can't run around. I should have isolated myself. That's also the reason I didn't want to come to Bogor. But due to the insistence of Bule Yeni, inevitably I have to do it. Given this, I finally decided to pray in the car alone. Not to transmit this virus to people.

“Assalamualaikum Wr's. Wb”

After the prayer, I went back to rest to at least make my body better. Because right now my body is smelly due to not having a morning shower, and is tired due to the covid that I am suffering from. Only the least rest can reduce the symptoms a little. But when I was resting, my throat felt dry.

‘Wah, yes too. I haven't had a drink’ I said in my heart.

I looked around where I was sitting whether there was water or not. Unfortunately, I did not find the thing I was looking for. In the end, I ventured to go out for a while to buy mineral water.

“Om, go first and buy a drink. Want to nitip something?”

“Do not need Ray.Easy is mah”

After parting, I went to the nearest beverage sales. Of course, I wear a jacket with a mask. I had to apply 3M properly and correctly because I didn't want to infect other people with covid as well.

A few minutes walk, I finally reached a stall selling food. This stall is located inside the hospital area so I don't have to go all the way until the nyari comes out to find a drink. This place is just like other minimarkets. There are all kinds of food and drinks. And the household needs are all here.

This place also has a cash register and business model such as self-service. We just take what we want to buy ourselves, then we leave it to the cashier first to be paid. The difference is, the minimarket inside this hospital seems to be an outdoor theme. Because it's in a pretty open place.

Finished taking the items I needed, I went to the cashier and started paying for the items I took.

I paid according to the amount he mentioned. Because I want to reduce contact as much as possible. So pay the fitting so that no more contact takes change. I hope he's okay and doesn't get covid from me. Cashless payments should be more secure. But I do not see that this minimarket accepts such a payment method.

Soon I got back to the car after getting what I was looking for. It was only after I sat in the car that I drank the things I bought. The fresh feeling of water after this day has not yet entered the water into the throat.

The activity I continued by chatting with om Maman while waiting for mom to come back into the car. In addition, I also spent time playing mobile and gave updates to the brothers about the current situation in Bogor.

A few minutes later, Mom returned and got into the car with a deep sigh.

“So how's mom? Will we stay here today?” I asked my mother.

As a good wife, surely my mother has plans to stay at this place. But my answer made me think twice about making conclusions too quickly.

“Gak mas, I don't bring clothes. Besides, if the covid is like this too, it is difficult to find a place to stay.”

Come to think of it, it is also true what mom said. We can't just stay overnight while suffering from covid like this. Can - can if we stay overnight, even create a new cluster of this disease. It was at this consideration that we decided to return to the city of C, where I was born and raised.

Before going home, we stopped by Bule Yeni's house first, he said we would be given something. From the hospital, it was less than 15 minutes of travel time that we needed to get there. When we arrived, we asked Maman to come down and take the goods we would bring. To be safer.

When we arrived, Bule Yeni came out of her house and greeted us as she approached us. He also gave Maman the parcel we would bring. Of course, he also uses a complete mask and long-sleeved clothes.

“Eh, Ray is also coming. Good that his mother is there who nemenin” said Bule Yeni while staring at me.

We talked for a while and went straight home. Because as a doctor, Bule Yeni also asked me and my mother not to get too close. He was also afraid of contracting this disease. After everything was done, we finally returned home. During the trip, most of what I did was sleep. Sometimes I wake up just to see the view.

“Ah, finally home also” said me while lying on the mattress.

When I got home, I changed my clothes and took a shower. Because Yana's fussing about this. He said that the body is clean and also germs and bacteria brought from the outside can be cleaned faster. Beres did it all, I was finally able to fall down and get back to rest for today.

‘Papah, may papah quickly recover as usual’ I pray for the father while slowly heading to dreamland.

The next day, our fight was not over. For work, I asked for a holiday first because it is now being exposed to covid. My sister Arip who was going to Jakarta to start working, asked permission to remain WFH because of her status she is currently exposed to covid.

As for Lamda and Yana is not too influential because Yana is currently just waiting for the time to enter college and Lamda until now the school is still online.

Only the mother was so influential because she needed more rest than us. The next few days, he just fell on the bed except for a meal and a bath. Of course, all of us at home always pray for health for you. May you heal quickly.
