The Colorful Work World

The Colorful Work World
Ch. 98 Fathers Fallen Sick 2

When I got home, I told him what was going on in the hospital. How is the current condition of Papah, as well as anyone who is accompanying him in the hospital.

Arip and Yana are quite relieved when they hear that you are still in a pretty normal state. But they are still worried, especially with the history of the father who had been hit by a light stroke first when I started working in Tangerang.

"Is it going to heal, right?" Ask Yana to myself.

"Of course, papa is just tired because of the yasinan event and mostly smoking." I answered while giving the facts of what Bule Yeni told me.

Indeed, we have often reminded us to at least reduce smoking if we can not stop. But it is because it may have been addicted, so it is difficult to do it.

There is something like this if you do not maintain the condition of the body. But if what I heard also from the mother, the father was his nerves seemed to be disturbed because of the disease he suffered. Even when his feet were bleeding, he felt nothing.

Either his nerves are damaged or for some other reason. You must always be monitored by others so that something does not happen that you want. For example, what happened this morning.

Suddenly there was no wind without rain, he was short of breath until rushed to the hospital. At night, I see him as normal. He was still sleeping comfortably on the chair as he usually did. Indeed, it seems that the incident that befell Mbah Kakung has quite an impact on papah health.

Finished explaining the keqdaan papah, I rest in the room while standing by whether there will be new news from mother. Sure enough, a few hours later, I got the news.

"Mas, please send some items to the hospital. Later the nurse will accompany me. Noted what to bring"

Mother began to declare some items that must be brought such as daily needs and drugs that must be brought. Some things to buy I also wrote. After making the list, she thanked me and hung up the phone.

"Arips, Yana. This is a list of items that will have to be taken when going to the hospital. What if you guys get ready?"

"Ready man!"

Arip and Yana took the list from me and read it carefully. Some items like clothes and the like they are looking for from the shelves. Then they put it in a big bag to hold everything.

Then they also went to Indomaret to find items to buy. Before going there, Arip thrusts his hand at me "Begging for a price, afraid it's not enough."

I took out my wallet and gave some money as Arip's fare. After giving me the money, I went back for a break.

"Mas, wake up and someone's knocking on the door." My sister Lamda said as she shouted towards me. I was sleeping so he woke me up.

"mm? A guest? Thanks for waking up"

"Sama-sama" said Lamda then he went back to his room.

Indeed, Lamda's room was very close to the front door. So that if someone knocks on the door, it is the closest from the source of the sound. But since he was a child, he was usually not allowed to open the door.

Because we don't know if the person who stopped by the house is evil or not. Parents or not. It was this reason that my parents were underpinning to ban Lamda from currently opening the door. The man who opened the door was a criminal.

"Eh has come yes, please sit down first. Arip will be here soon."

"Nggeh mas"

The person who came was a nurse who would later take care of Papah. Arip will take her to the hospital where you are. Since you can't accompany your father for tonight, he still has to do another job.

A few minutes later, Arip finally arrived and immediately prepared to go to the hospital. With the nurse behind him. I saw this nurse was quite young. His strength should be strong enough to keep the father.

Seeing that Arip had left, I went back to my usual activities. Not to forget I also had enough rest because yasinan Mbah Kakung will still be held later tonight.

*After Yasin finishes*

A few days later I did Yasin as usual. But unlike the first day, the next day Yasin me and Arip just went to study. Papah did not come with us because he still had to stay in the hospital.

Surely mother also came but I did not see him because he joined the congregation mother mother. Lamda and Yana chose not to join Yasin for some reason. It is in our family when we were little that we were not forced to follow Yasin. After all, I do not understand that the problem of life and death.

After yasinan for 7 days, akhinrya I am free from the event every night which is enough to make my body tired. I was finally able to sleep normally for the next day.

It doesn't matter if it's the weekend. Yasinan on a working day is enough to make my body tired, because I have to wfh the next day. Arip is also still doing online training as usual.

So that our activities at home all gather together but busy at each event. Mom took care of the father, Lamda and Yana went to school, and Arip and I worked.

Even though we were home, we could only be together after work hours were over. This is a very precious time for us to get together and spend time together.

In addition to Yasin, there is also the latest news from the father while in the hospital. My mom called me while I was in the hospital. By this time the Yasinan show was over and we were all in one room to listen to the news from mom.

Obviously only Lamda is not with us. Because he's too small to understand this. Mom started by asking us the news then she got into the core of the conversation.

"This is how kids are. According to the doctor's verdict, now Papah has to wash blood regularly because his kidneys are problematic. If later it is arranged, later the father can activities at home as usual."

Wash the blood, this I often hear done by people who are elderly. But once we need to wash the blood, usually for life the person will continue to do it.

I don't know what the impact will be on your father. But hopefully this step will make you able to live a better life. Not often pain and shortness of breath like now.

Hearing this news, of course, we were all in shock, especially me who began to think about how the cost of each dialysis session would be. But you can still calm us down and not worry. Because Alhamdulillah the cost is covered by insurance issued by the government.

Hearing that I was still relieved but still sad to see my father. Must routinely every few times a week go to the hospital for routine blood washing checks. May the family be given the strength to support the father in living a healthier life.
