The Colorful Work World

The Colorful Work World
Ch. 74 Roads to East Java

During my time in Tangerang as a programmer. I had the opportunity to take a long trip with my friends. The first place we went was East Java. Initially this started when I was with my friends gathering at one of my friends' houses in my hometown, he was named Zul.

“Bro, later everything comes yes. Must come loh. I already miss once.” Said one of our friends, Neighbor.

Neighbor was one of my friends from High School. We are different places of college, but fortunately communication is still going on. This is also because we used to be the chairman and also the representative of the ROHIS Exkul when High School. Neighbor as chairman and me as his deputy. I know that he currently works at one of Sukabumi's regional schools as a teacher.

This chat made us curious. Because all this time, he rarely ever gather together or reply to our messages in chat. But this time, he even took the initiative to invite a gathering. In the end, we decided to gather at Zul's house because only his house is currently ideal for receiving guests (Because the state of the house is empty).

When everyone was gathered, we started our conversation. From beginning to end, we were all very excited about the topic of dating. Both in terms of religion, and in terms of normal logic between humans. Suddenly, at the end of the conversation, Jiran gave us a wedding invitation.

"don't forget, guys, come to my wedding. The date and place can be seen on the invitation" Jiran said as he pulled out the wedding invitation from the bag he was carrying.

The action is quite beautiful, with the dominant color black. But our invitation was only shared one for all. It doesn't matter anyway, because anyway, the important thing is that this invitation will be enough for all of us to enter the reception.

"Whoa! congratulations to the neighbor. I hope it can be the same family"

We all greeted each other one by one. Because he was the first of our company to live a new life. One of our friends, Roja. Actually already knew it. But he hid it at the request of the neighbor. Suddenly we all became excited again and immediately chatted about the wedding of Neiran until we stayed at Zul's house.

Of course, we immediately invite all friends who can leave to attend the wedding of our friend who was the chairman of ROHIS in our time High School. Thank God after the plan is complete, the number of people who will leave is as many as 5 people. Me, Rendra, Zul, Roja, and Ade.

The five of us decided to leave by train. Judging from the duration of the trip, we can be sure we will be tired once later on the road .But I remain excited, because this is a rare moment facing a wedding friend outside the city. If it is only around the hometown mah, I have often visited. Hopefully, soon I can catch up with my other friends to live a new life.

So excited, we just returned from Zul's house after staying and performing dawn prayers at his house. There are so many things that we can say if we have collected like this. It was a perfect moment and Zul didn't mind if we all stayed one night at his house. I can't wait for the day of our departure to the Neighbor's event.

*One Day Before the Wedding of the Neighbor*

From the beginning, I started getting into trouble. The driver who was supposed to drive us suddenly could not drive because of sudden illness. At first, I was willing and intending not to leave. Because there is no way I drive myself because later the car no one to drive back. Then if you drive father and mother, they will both be tired of traveling far enough.

In the end, it was fortunate that we found the driver and managed to drive me and Roja to Rawa Buntu Station. Before going there, we stopped by my contract first. Because I want to bring some clothes and shoes from there. From my contract in Tangerang, then we went to Rawa Buntu station.

When he got there, Zul was waiting for us and had time to protest because it was late from the schedule .Roja and I could only laugh because they were straying in the street. The driver didn't know the way, then I couldn't open the maps app because of an internet error. Then Roja himself still called the boss so he could not see the road. That's why we're a little late to the station.

We finally continued our journey to perform Friday prayers at the mosque, which he said was the largest in Jakarta. I was quite amazed because from the station, I was able to get to this mosque through the JPO.

“Where is Ray, have you been to this mosque yet?”

“Never bro, cool this is the place.” I said while looking at the Istiqlal mosque as a whole.

Unfortunately, I did not get to enjoy the view of the mosque because we were being chased for time. The time will soon arrive. Of course we must take ablution first before performing Friday prayers. Because the mosque is quite large, we had to climb stairs because the prayer place on the first floor was all full.

When the ablution was over, we went to the empty shaft to perform the prayer. Unfortunately, we did not bring prayer mats so Friday prayers this time directly head to touch the floor without any pedestal. Yes also yes, why not think to bring a prayer mat from the beginning?

After Friday, we immediately went to the place where our train station was going to Jatim. From the mosque, the three of us used an online ojek to go alternately to the place. The distance is not too far, about not up to 10 minutes of travel that we take to get to the station.

Fortunately, we were not late to get there. I still had time to buy some supplies, because me, Zul, and Roja did not have time to find lunch. We were all in a hurry not to be late for the train. Fortunately at the station there are plenty of places to buy food, we can wrap it up to eat on the street.

“Train ... will leave for Jatim. Passengers who will board the train are expected to board soon. The train will soon be leaving.”

Hearing the station announcement, we immediately rushed to get to the train we were about to board. We ran away for fear of being late. We can be bothered later if we are late to get on the train. Moreover, I was not tasty because it was one of the people who came late enough to come to the station we agreed to gather. Because me, Zul, and Roja have to go through a long way before getting to Jakarta.
