The Colorful Work World

The Colorful Work World
Ch. 39 Bali

We went home after watching in the cinema. The next days, we went to a similar place, nothing special. More or less every day during the holidays to Jogja we do the same activities. Do worship as usual, take a walk during the day as usual, then rest until bedtime.

One week of vacation in Jogja we went through in such a way. Although I really want to go alone around Jogja. Because I feel bad for the other family, the activity was stopped me doing.

It didn't feel like we've been in Jogja for a week. Because soon it was time to get back to work, we were getting ready to go home. Before we leave, we make sure that no items are left behind. Repot later if someone can miss, far later take it again. In addition, later of course I ngomel again if there are things that are left behind.

But if the one who left his own goods, confused he would be angry with who because he had forgotten to bring the goods. If you are angry with others because we forget the item, is not crazy is the name.

The journey to the house went well. Thank you for returning safely home. Arip is still living in Jogja because he still has to take care of the thesis. Soon he should have graduated and will be back home. While looking for work, he plans to return home. Not staying in a jogja while looking for it.

*Some weeks later*

Even though the end of the semester is over, the trip is still not finished. My school will have a few days vacation to Bali. I was curious because I have never been to Bali at all, although there is still a sense of laziness to go because I do not really like to walk.

But because this is an event that the school held, it is not delicious if not present. There were some teachers who did not come because they were not allowed by their husbands. Surely the female teacher would not have left if she did not get their blessing. Fortunately, I am free because I still do not have a partner.

"How are you ready to go to Bali?" Said the principal while opening the meeting.

This time the meeting discussed leaving for Bali. This discourse has been around for a long time, maybe a few months ago. Even Rangga who have moved work is still in the quota. Because this discourse has been discussed before he left school.

We discuss the rundown of the event will go where and what places we will go. This is the first time I'm going to the island of the Gods. Wonder what I'll find there.

I really don't like to walk. Especially a tour like this. But because I was invited, I just accept it. Hopefully we can still get a signal there. Because it might be very helpful if you go out and do not get a signal.

After we finished discussing the departure procedure, we announced to the students that in the next few days, they will be studying at home.

"Wooh" the sound of student excitement until heard all over the school.

They seem to be very happy to be studying at home. That's fine language. We already know what it means is a holiday for the next few days. The average student is happy to have their day off. But there were also those who pretended to be sad because they could not meet their teachers.

Because there is no way we go to Bali while teaching them.all staff participate in the event this time. All staff returned home to prepare for departure. They must be prepared for whatever they bring. Too much carrying goods during the trip will also be troublesome later.

I was getting ready myself, especially what items to bring. Surely I had wanted to bring a laptop, but not so because it would be burdensome later. After all, it is very dangerous to carry items such as laptops when traveling. In addition to losing cartilage, it is also prone to damage.

I used to have a laptop lcd screen cracked because I forgot to put the laptop in the bottom position. Finally due to the shock while on the bus, the laptop lcd is not helped. Laptop repair is expensive. Almost a million rupiah.

On this trip to Bali, all my family also came. Although this is a school event, the families of the staff can also participate. As long as they have recorded and paid the cost of course. Yes, everyone can come for free. If that's the way later it can waste the event because the cost is too expensive.

We went to the airport at midnight. I remember once that the flight departure time was after dawn (around 5am). When viewed from the distance of travel time, we should not be late, unless someone comes very late.

That's why we left in the middle of the night to arrive on time. The number of breaks from the time of the plane is to anticipate if there is something ngaret. It's a culture that shouldn't be treated. Rarely do I ngaret, come at 5 o'clock come at 5 less. The time is late, unless there is an inevitable event.

Repot later if because someone is late, so it is too late to get on the plane. Fortunately all this time, I didn't feel anything like this. Surely it is a hassle because going to the airport we already need energy and costs are not small. Time to go home just like that because you missed the plane.

Together with my family, I went to a gathering place. We used a private car to drive us. After getting a parking space, we moved the vehicle and got on the bus.

There are two buses that will take us. It seems like one bus can accommodate dozens of people. So that the total number of people who participated might almost reach 50 more, I do not know exactly how many. Because there is a committee that takes care of everything.

"Are you all ready, Dani?"

"Yes, sir, just wait for a few more people."

I chatted with the other staff while waiting for the person who hadn't come. I see there's already someone who's become a suction expert. I hate cigarette smoke. I avoid people who smoke. There are so many reasons for smokers to justify the activities they do.

Although the father included heavy smokers, as his son I did not follow in his footsteps to become an active smoker. Either because I see the health side, or because I do not like to follow in the footsteps of the father.

"Let's all go up, in absenteeism first." The committee has started asking everyone to get on the bus. Because there are still people waiting outside. It will be easier to check the presence of everyone if they are on the bus, rather than having to check one-on-one from outside.

I heard that in other places it is possible to check at the same time as when riding the bus. But if here, the attendance process begins after everyone sits sweetly on the bus.

"Present"

"Sip, everything is complete. Pir's street."

The bus started to run slowly at the direction of the committee. The next bus is also full of passengers. Just like when I got into the car. I only spend the trip listening to music or sleeping on the bus.

It's easy to sleep considering it's 12 p.m. Hopefully, when you wake up, it will get to the destination. Because the scenery is all pitch dark and there are not many sights

*few hours later*

"Wake it all up, it's at the airport. Don't let anything get left behind"

"Emmm…"

I woke up then saw everyone start to get off in an orderly manner out of the bus. They all took their luggage down. Fortunately this down process is done in an orderly and not urgent manner.

Because my family is 6 people. Our luggage includes quite a lot. I took off my hands and didn't want to bring anything at all. Indeed he wants the goods brought by others during the holidays. It was strange, but because I did not want to look for trouble, I did not argue and calmly lowered and brought some things.

Fortunately there is still my sister Arip who has been defending came from Jogja to follow this journey. He also brought her things on this trip. So that I'm not alone.

I myself carry two suitcases and a backpack on my back. Of course from this luggage, only the backpack is my luggage. The rest belong to the family. We are still waiting in front of the airport to take care of the administrative process. Because if one by one in check, the process will be longer later.

Each passenger ID is requested one by one for data collection. There were problems like there were KTPs left behind, or not in accordance with the original. I'm confused there's something like this. Fortunately, the boarding process worked well. No one is left behind or told to go home because they do not bring a ID card and others.

Finally after completing this process, we entered the airport gate one by one.

Unfortunately, the departure time is right after the morning adhan. We, who are predominantly Muslim, must pray at dawn first. I was one of the people who chose to pray at dawn in the waiting room. Some people prefer to pray on the plane.

I myself prefer to pray in mushola, because praying while in the vehicle is not tasty. The movement is not as good as when praying in a place of worship. But it is allowed as far as I know. Still praying in the plane rather than not praying at all.

There was a bad moment when there was congregational prayer, the priest read it too long. This is not appropriate because we are in a hurry to catch the plane. From some of the studies I've heard, everyone thinks the same. The priest must look at his or her situation. If they have a need and do not have much time, the priest cannot recite a prayer too long.

Fortunately I did not get such a priest because I was the priest. As a good priest, he should give readings according to his worship. If you are being chased for time like this, you have to read it shorter.

We managed to get on the plane in time. One plane was enough to carry all our crews. No group boarded a different plane to go to Jogja.

Funny thing turns out time to go to Bali for approximately one hour. Just like when I went to Jogja. After reading the plane magazine, I spent time on the plane chatting with the person sitting next to me and closed my eyes to go to the dream world.

*One Hour Later*

"Pesawat .. has arrived at Ngurah Rai airport, Bali. Passengers are expected to check back the luggage, lest there are items left behind or exchanged on the plane."

I immediately looked out the window as it was the first time I had arrived at this airport. But I saw at a glance, this airport is very thick with Balinese culture. All knickknacks and decorations in this place are in accordance with Balinese customs. His name I do not know but if you look at a glance, you must think “wah, bali nih”. Less is more like that.

In contrast to Jogja which is thick with the culture of wayang, keraton, and so on. The decorations at this airport are quite unique so we took some photos at this place. Surely we can't take too many photos because we're being chased for time on this journey. If it is late and finally does not leave according to schedule, the principal can be scolded later.

We again have to wait for the administrative process taken care of by the committee. The next trip will be by bus. But this bus is different from the one at Soekarno Hatta airport. There is no way that the bus that was in the place where we left was used again in this place. The bus will be brought by plane here.

"Come, the group from .. come with me to get on the bus "

Hearing the instructions from the committee, we all orderly went to where the bus was. Just like before, the bus this time also numbered two. With a number of seats similar to the bus last night we used.

We also got two guides during our trip this time. They will guide us around Bali according to the rundown that has been made by the committee. Because there are many places that we want to visit, use the time as efficiently as possible and visit as many tourist attractions as possible during the time that still exists.

What is the first place we will visit? I was curious because this was the first time I set foot on the land of Bali.
