Ch. 102 - Kharisma Nagato
Nagato clenched his teeth as he felt Demet's aura of intimidation, making it difficult to move and breathe.
"His aura is bigger than mine, even his aura looks so stable.." inner Nagato observed Demet who was emitting an aura of intimidation towards him.
"Aura has to fight with aura, right?" demet said with a big smile to see Nagato struggling to move.
Demet ran towards Nagato quickly, then he slashed his sword towards Nagato's neck.
Nagato was able to fend off Demet's slash, but his body was extremely difficult to move.
"Heavenly Rainbow Breathing: Indigo Shape." Nagato's heart took a deep breath in one breath. Then he tried to calm down and concentrate as usual.
Demet was amazed by Nagato who returned to calm, even this time the two looked very calm and the golden aura that came out of his body looked so stable and wrapped his body.
Nagato advanced quickly slashing his sword towards Demet, the two of them holding their swords against each other and staring at each other intently.
Nagato smiled faintly and disappeared from Demet's sight for a moment before appearing behind him and giving his dense fire slash attack. Nagato held his sword upside down aiming for Demet's head.
Demet was startled and avoided Nagato's sword slash attack, but his back was hit by Nagato's slash in exchange for his neck.
"How dare you!" Demet was wrathful as his back was injured by Nagato's sword slash. The wound on his back to a swordsman was a disgrace, which was why Demet was angry with Nagato.
Nagato simply kept silent and watched Demet closely before he again attacked him. Nagato used his swift pace while continuing to stab and swing his sword at Demet.
Although the attack given by Nagato was very deadly, Demet was able to avoid the attack of slashes that were so fast and was able to compensate for Nagato's footsteps.
"Bad! Why am I unable to keep up with her speed, my body is already not what it used to be." - the inner Demet who was continuously forced into a defensive position by Nagato. And, this time he was so overwhelmed at fending off the quick slash that Nagato kept swinging.
Nagato smiled faintly, because only this time did he feel an opponent that made him so happy. His days of always fighting with the Beast and Demon Beast made him even more bored, as Nagato also wanted to occasionally try to fight a human.
Nagato tried to catch his breath which started to gasp. And, he lowered the power of his sword slash, thus making Demet think that Nagato had lost his momentum and he was vigorously counterattacking Nagato.
Nagato easily repelled Demet's slash and occasionally he also punched Demet's body.
Demet clucked in annoyance, then he poured his green-colored aura into his sword blade. With complete confidence he continued to give Nagato an attack.
Nagato and Demet had been exchanging sword slashes for several hours. The battle of stamina and speed was arguably won by Nagato, but now Nagato was forced into a defensive position by Demet.
"Orangic Trajectory!" Nagato shouted the name of his nurse inwardly, Demet repelled Nagato's slash with his sword glowing green with his aura.
"He hasn't used his full strength yet!" Demet clucked in annoyance and he stared intently at Nagato while attacking him back.
Nagato closed his eyes and his feet did the front horses, seeing the horse thing - the horse made Demet immediately retreated a few steps back.
"What is this boy doing? I feel a murderous lust so great!" muttered Demet frowned and broke out in cold sweat looking at Nagato.
Nagato could estimate the distance between himself and Demet by about three meters.
"Room Space!" nagato's inner self by giving off all of his aura of intimidation to Demet, without waiting any longer. Nagato instantly slashed his sword towards Demet.
"Fire Release!" Nagato slashed his sword from afar. And, he created a dense fire that was crescent-shaped, flying darting rapidly towards Demet's chest.
Demet was again able to move, but he saw a crescent-shaped flame flying rapidly towards him. He could react quickly but his body was unable to keep up with his reaction.
"Aragh!" Demet grimaced in pain as his body was injured from Nagato's sword slash, his body feeling extremely hot. Demet was surprised to see his blood-soaked chest even the clothes he was wearing were torn.
Demet immediately looked for Nagato, but he could not find the two anywhere.
"Demails! Behindyou!" devon shouted in surprise to see Nagato standing upright behind Demet.
Demet looked back, but his face broke out in cold sweat as Nagato wrapped his sword around his neck.
"Your ability is quite interesting" Nagato said as he slightly scratched Demet's neck skin with his sword. Fresh blood shot out a little from Demet's neck skin.
Demet was deathly pale in the face and he had not expected to die at his targeted hands, he was a Black Madia sub-machine assassin and Demon-Esteeming Sect Leader, who had been paid to kill Nagato, but now he was the target of Nagato.
"I give uncle a second chance to live, if uncle leaves this world that uncle is in." Nagato said intimidating Demet and he had no interest in killing him.
"Everyone should have a second chance in life" Nagato added as he continued to wrap his sword around Demet's neck. Nagato waited for an answer from Demet's deepest heart.
Demet gulped before speaking, "If you let me go, I could have killed you," Demet endured the pain, "I am the Black Madia's manslayer, the one who has destroyed your family!"
Nagato let out a long sigh then he let go of his sword, seeing that Demet was swinging his sword with all his might aiming at Nagato's two legs.
Nagato who realized this immediately reacted to kick Demet's hand, until both swords were thrown up and shot down on the ground.
Demet who was in a position sitting on the ground, was resigned because he realized he was almost tarnishing his fight.
"I want to grow up fast and strong so that I can avenge the deaths of my parents, I also want to protect people who are precious to me..." nagato said with her cold voice making Demet speechless.
"I'm not strong enough to kill Black Madia yet and my journey is still long." Nagato added.
Demet glazed over his glasses, "You'd be surprised to find out the name of the traitor," Demet cried at Nagato's magnanimity, "The world is too cruel and cruel for you, what would you do if one of your precious people died in front of you."
Nagato was silent for a moment when he heard Demet's words. His words made him remember the Shinigami inside his body.
"A woman of great value to me, telling me this, if we should live without remorse, because we are given life only once. And, I will try to keep that person who is precious to me from dying in front of me, even though my life is at stake." Nagato looked at Demet who was sitting on the ground and cried.
"Uncle, live a new life. And leave your old life." Nagato saw Demet crying.
"Yes..thank you. I will try to start a new life." Demet replied in a sobbing voice.
"Son, the person who became the preacher" Demet had not finished speaking, there was a familiar sword in Nagato's eyes stuck in front of Demet and himself. So that made Demet scream in shock.
"Sorry Nagato, long time no see, it seems you are getting stronger" said Grandpa Hyogoro who came from a tall tree near the Seven Different Springs Waterfall.
"Grandfather Hyo!" shouts Nagato looked at Grandpa Hyogoro who surprised him.
Hyogoro's grandfather then helped Demet stand up and leaned him against the tree.
"Don't tell Nagato, I don't want him to drown in hatred. The chain of hatred belongs to him let me bear it all." Grandpa Hyogoro whispered to Demet quietly.
Demet was speechless hearing Grandpa Hyogoro's words.
"Are you serious, sooner or later he'll find out!" Demet insisted on revealing the name of the traitor who informed Nagato of the location of the Holy Forest and the Cakrawyuha Forest.
"Nagato was the last descendant of the Kagutsuchi Clan, he was the leader of the Kagutsuchi Clan. Although he was very young he was obsessed with becoming stronger, in order to be able to avenge his parents." Grandpa Hyogoro stared at Demet sharply.
"Why did you tell me this important thing?" demet asked because he could have leaked to everyone, who had a grudge and wanted to finish off the last descendants of the Kagutsuchi Clan.
"Because you have earned Nagato's trust, that's all" Grandpa Hyogoro replied as he walked over to Nagato.
Demet was surprised to hear Grandpa Hyogoro's reply, because in his entire life no one had believed him. Little Demet, who lives as an orphan, struggles to stay alive despite being a murderer. And, one of Demet's only friends is Devon. Since Devon's figure had been with him since childhood, the two of them shared and felt the bitter sweetness of life together - the same.
