Somewhere in Samui Island. The tree-lined place Iris has been training with Shirayuki for the past few years, Iris is getting more adept at controlling the power of her snow goddess.
Her black long hair was wet as Iris kept trying to control her body aura, the sweat drenching the face and the hair of the beautiful young girl looked seductive.
"I'll surprise you Dragon." Iris inner as it froze the entire surrounding tree. For seven years he did not meet Nagato, the young man he had been betrothed to. Iris's feelings were still the same for Nagato.
Iris has always followed Shirayuki as the Snow White's son, making her mother proud. Iris never denied her grandmother's words.
Fuyumi Iris was already twelve years old, her beauty was increasingly visible with ice-cold gazes in both of her beautiful eyes.
Iris's ability as a beautiful young swordsman of the Fuyumi Clan has become increasingly recognized in the Kai Empire over the past few years, for the sake of pursuing Nagato and not wanting to be a burden to the one he loves, Iris made up her mind to make Nagato tell her the youth's past.
Iris could see Nagato's hateful eyes, and Iris also knew Nagato was hiding her dark feelings. Nagato is the type of young man who is able to open his heart, Iris is very lucky to be born into the world to meet Nagato even though he does not have a father.
Two years ago on Samui Island. Shirayuki tells Iris about her past story, the first reaction Iris shows to Shirayuki is to smile and hug her mother. Iris also realized that if she was the incarnation of the snow goddess, the power her mother inherited would be her pride.
Iris closed her eyes and tried to make dozens of swords from ice that she created with her profound energy, her concentration was so incredible. His calmness was clearly visible, dozens of rose-patterned ice swords were created from the energy within Iris.
"Iris!" tika and Hika's voices spread their concentration, her eyes opened slowly and turned towards the source of the voice calling out her name.
Iris eyes widened looking at the figure of the young man who increasingly looks good with a sharp look that is cold and pure - Iris did not see it, Iris hid her smile because she saw Nagato who came to the Fuyumi Clan.
"Iris, look Nagato's getting good-looking, isn't he?" tika whispered in Iris' ear.
Litha and Hika approached Iris who was with Tika, a warm embrace between Litha and Iris was seen in Nagato's eyes.
Iris and Litha embraced after a long time without seeing each other, the two young girls looked so familiar.
"Duringn't see, Litha." Iris smiled sweetly looking at Litha and released Litha's embrace.
"Looks like you're getting pretty, Iris." Litha looked at Iris deeply - deeply.
Iris turned her face in embarrassment, her eyes meeting Nagato's eyes for a few seconds. The two did not say hello and the two of them just stared at each other.
Nagato narrowed his eyes and deliberately smiled faintly at Iris. Seeing that Iris' reflexes tightened her teeth clucked in annoyance.
"Dragon!" inner Iris looked at Nagato sharply.
Shirayuki not long ago invited them all to enter the Moon Snow Dormitory, but Grandpa Hyogoro did not intend to linger long on Samui Island.
"Cats, Litha. Grandpa left first." Grandpa Hyogoro's words made Nagato and Litha a little sad because Grandpa Hyogoro's voice sounded like saying a farewell sentence.
Litha who was with Iris immediately hugged Grandpa Hyogoro tightly. Tears soaked Litha's face because she was so grateful to have been helped by Grandpa Hyogoro.
"Grandfather. Thank you for being Litha's grandfather," cries kept coming out of Litha's eyes even though the young girl tried to hold her back, "Litha has not been able to repay her grandfather's services..." Litha gritted her teeth holding back her cries.
Grandfather Hyogoro stroked Litha's hair affectionately then crouched his gaze and wiped Litha's tears.
"The two of you are grandfather's precious grandchildren. Grandpa is also grateful to have a family like you." Grandpa Hyogoro smiled while trying to calm Litha down.
Until this moment Nagato had not realized how Grandpa Hyogoro considered himself and Litha as his own grandchildren. Nagato clenched his teeth, instantly a feeling of uneasiness mixed with sadness began to whisper in between his bones.
Litha stopped crying after Grandpa Hyogoro calmed her down, then she made up her mind not to cry anymore because Grandpa Hyogoro left behind.
"Naagato. Is there nothing you want to say to your grandfather?" Hyogoro's grandfather smiled looking at Nagato who was standing next to Shirayuki.
"No. I hate a farewell." Nagato replied briefly and looked unconcerned.
Grandpa Hyogoro laughed at Nagato's reply. Litha and Iris stared intently at the disrespectful Nagato at Grandpa Hyogoro.
Hyogoro's grandfather stood up and turned his back on his way leaving Nagato and Litha.
"Please take care of these two students of mine." Grandpa Hyogoro asked Shirayuki with great supplication.
"I'll take good care of them." Shirayuki slightly understood the purpose of Grandpa Hyogoro leaving to leave Nagato and Litha.
Hyogoro's grandfather was getting away from the sight of Nagato and Litha as well as Shirayuki and the others. Shirayuki looked at Nagato and Litha who looked sad, even Iris, Hika and Tika were also touched by her heart seeing Grandpa Hyogoro's separation with Nagato and Litha.
Shirayuki invites Nagato and the others to the Moon Snow Dormitory. Litha walked side by side with Iris holding her hand, while Nagato still did not budge from her place.
"I'll be alone first" Nagato said in a cold tone and walked in the same direction as Grandpa Hyogoro.
"Nag-" unfinished Litha spoke her shoulder held by Shirayuki.
"Let him alone." Shirayuki calms Litha.
Iris looked at Nagato's back which moved away from her gaze, Nagato's footsteps looked so sad. The pounding of his feet that were so calm and silent was inaudible made Nagato hide his feelings.
"Dragon.." Iris looked at Nagato who was getting further away.
On the outskirts of Samui Island beach full of sand makes Grandpa Hyogoro look at Samui Island full of meaning before boarding the boat.
"You two have grown up. I'm sure everything will be fine." murmured Grandpa Hyogoro as he closed his eyes.
When Grandpa Hyogoro opened his eyes and saw Nagato who was walking towards him, Grandpa Hyogoro slowly turned around and stepped his legs back.
"Wall Fire!"
Nagato shouted and made a fire that formed a barrier wall with his hands, Nagato slowly getting more adept at mastering the power of the fire god.
Hyogoro's grandfather smiled faintly and glanced at Nagato who had grown stronger, a pride as a teacher for having such a talented student.
Nagato kowtowed and bowed his head to the sand facing his teacher who had saved him many times, teaching him how to survive and about the meaning of life. Nagato gritted his teeth in order not to cry, but the overflow of his stifled emotions began to slowly come out.
"Don't you hate the parting words, Nagato?" Hyogoro's grandfather glanced at Nagato who was prostrating to him, "I'm not forcing you to say a word of thanks to me." Grandfather Hyogoro saw Nagato holding back his cries.
Nagato gritted his teeth, strengthening his feelings, his hands grasping the sand so tightly, as if he did not want to let his tears spill.
"Naagato. Are you happy when I think of you as my grandson?" Grandpa Hyogoro stared at the burning embers shutting himself in.
Nagato closed his eyes and his tears spilled, his hands clasping the beach sand tighter and tighter, the sound of his teeth snapping sounded. Nagato's heart grew increasingly sad and happy considering the time - when he trained with Grandpa Hyogoro. One thing Nagato felt right now, he was very grateful to have a teacher and grandfather like Grandpa Hyogoro.
"I'm so happy! You are my grandfather and a very meritorious teacher in my life!" Nagato yelled and cried, his forehead he smashed into the sand before shouting all his feelings to Grandpa Hyogoro, "I'll repay you one day!" Nagato bit his lips as he tried to hold back his cries, but the sadness that crawled his body was not contained anymore.
Hyogoro's grandfather laughed happily at Nagato's honest words, never did he feel this happy after his wife, child and student were gone.
Nagato extinguished the fire he was making, slowly the sound of Grandpa Hyogoro's footsteps rang out in his ears. The rowing of the boat and the sound of water made Nagato unable to see Grandpa Hyogoro leaving him, his head still touching the sand of the beach and his hands clasping even tighter on the sand of the beach and rocks.
"Thank you Grandpa Hyo. I'm so happy to be your grandson." Nagato's heart screams after hearing the sound of the boat's paddle getting inaudible to his ears.
