Ch. 272 — Towards the End of Battle
“Nagato!” Iris and Litha ran over to Nagato.
Nagato turned his head towards the source of the voice and saw Iris and Litha coming with Shirayuki. The situation grew even more uncontrollable as the thunderous roar in the sky of the Capital of Daifuzen grew increasingly jarring.

But one thing that made Shirayuki curious was Takatsugu, Satsuma, Chosu and Emi as well as the Clan Chiefs scattered in the eastern and western strongholds. They all seemed to be listening to Takatsugu's words.
‘What is the Red Dragon that slaughtered the Kagutsuchi Clan. But what is the motive? Why didn't the creature kill the other clans and rule the Ezzo Continent seventeen years ago. Why did that Red Dragon only destroy the people of Kagutsuchi.’ Shirayuki thought hard until her beautiful face shrunk.
“Mother!” Iris held onto Shirayuki's hand and shook it.
“Aunt Shirayuki!” Nagato and Litha also called Shirayuki because the mother of Iris was daydreaming by herself.
Shirayuki looked at Nagato and let out a long sigh, “Nagato, the creature. The Red Dragon was from outside the Ezzo Continent. I don't know why he came here. But this war will take many lives.”
“That Red Dragon can't possibly be on our side.” Nagato muttered softly and lowered his head. There was a feeling that made his body tremble at the sight of a terrifying head and was lurking from up there.

Litha smiled and processed her breathing before moving at Shirayuki's speed. Nagato and Iris were also cultivating breathing and moving around Shirayuki.
“I didn't expect the three of us to fight with my mother.” Iris played her sword and stuck to Litha's back for a moment before attacking the enemy sea of the Rakuza Empire's military warriors and the Kinai Empire's military soldiers.
