Nagato Kagutsuchi: The Dawn

Nagato Kagutsuchi: The Dawn
Ch. 60 - Towards the Ancient Ruins City

The mission to eradicate the mountain bandits terrorizing Helai City made Grandpa Hyogoro feel an uneasy premonition. Before leaving for the mission Grandpa Hyogoro taught Litha and Nagato about his quick and silent footsteps.

"I already know some of the basics, but I will master it anyway!" inner Nagato when he saw Grandpa Hyogoro teach about the Soundless Steps, which he always used when he invited Litha and Nagato to practice in the Wind Hills and Waterfalls of Seven Different Springs.

"So we have to work our breathing and concentrate our inner energy on our legs, but it's still difficult for me anyway!" inner Litha when she saw Grandpa Hyogoro teach the Soundless Steps.

"If you have opened the aura it will be an easy thing plus if you are able to manipulate the elemental elements that you have then it will be a valuable weapon for you!" Hyogoro's grandfather was explaining to Litha and Nagato while setting off towards the Ancient Ruins City.

Hyogoro's grandfather started running followed by Litha and Nagato from behind, they both tried to use a step without a sound but still far from the ability that Grandpa Hyogoro had.

"Litha, you didn't bring Chibi?" asked Nagato who was running beside Litha, hearing Nagato's question, the little girl chuckled.

"I brought her, Chibi in my bag." Litha smiled at Nagato and before long Chibi came out from inside Litha's bag.

"Meow - Meow."

"This cat is familiar with Litha?!" muttered Nagato who saw the cute kitten in Litha's backpack.

"Don't be fooled though sweet and adorable, Chibi is still dangerous!" inner Nagato while gulping saw Chibi as she looked adorable with her white fur.

Hyogoro's grandfather used a safe breakthrough route to the exit of the Cakrawyuha Forest, layer by layer of forest they passed and before long they had come out of the Cakrawyuha Forest.

From outside the Cakrawyuha Forest looks like an ordinary forest in general, but when entering the forest there is only a beautiful and terrible place.

Fog began to cover the Cakrawyuha Forest and before long Grandpa Hyogoro sat down for a moment while breathing in as the sun was about to set.

"We eat first, after that we continue the journey!" take Grandpa Hyogoro who is taking out food from his bag that has been made by Litha this morning.

"Nagato, did you used to live in the forest, it seems like you are very quick to adapt in the Cakrawyuha Forest?" asked Litha who was sitting next to Grandpa Hyogoro, then Nagato sat down beside Litha before answering the little girl's question.

"Yes, back then I was living in the Holy Forest in the Azbec Kingdom" Nagato replied calmly as he put down his bag.

"Did? When I grow up I want to travel the world! I want to see the outside world!" muttered Litha who was opening the lid.

Nagato just smiled looking at Litha who looked happy and happy.

"At that time I escaped from a painful destiny and now I am met with another destiny, life always moves in an unexpected direction!" inner Nagato while chewing the parchment food Litha made.

Litha looked at Nagato and smiled faintly at the handsome young man who was daydreaming and chewing on the food he had made.

"How's Nagato, does it taste good?" asked Litha who saw Nagato chewing on her homemade parchment.

"Enak, I'm grateful to be able to eat your cooking" Nagato replied innocently while eating Litha's parchment with white rice.

"Eh? Thank goodness." Litha turned her face aside to hear Nagato's reply, Litha's face flushed red, embarrassed and happy at the same time the mixed impression approached her.

An hour later Grandpa Hyogoro invited the two of them back to continue their journey east.

"Where are we going, grandpa?" ask Litha to Grandpa Hyogoro.

"Hmm .. to a city that is already in ruins." Grandfather Hyogoro stroked his chin while thinking of something.

"The city of ancient ruins, the name sounds good even though there is only a place for exiles!" Hyogoro's grandfather added.

"It looks like it's going to be a fun trip, I'll try to follow Grandpa and Nagato!" Litha smiled cheerfully.

"So it's Grandpa Hyo's job, rooting out villains like bad luck heroes!" Nagato smiled faintly as he turned his face aside.

"Nagato, you mustn't talk like that Grandpa!" Litha looked annoyed at hearing Nagato's words.

"Eh ... S-sorry!" Nagato raised both of his hands as Litha approached him.

"Haha ... Grandfather also can not live without money, although in the Cakrwayuha Forest many can be used as food every day, still we still need money!" Grandfather Hyogoro looked at the sky that was already getting dark.

"In the end the way the world works ends with money!" Hyogoro's grandfather added.

Litha and Nagato looked at Grandpa Hyogoro who seemed to be thinking about something. Before long Grandpa Hyogoro invited the two of them to return on their way to the Ancient Ruins City.
