Ch. 220 - Nagato's Involvement!
Nagato coated both of his hands with his golden-coloured body aura. Then he manipulated the aura of his body into flames before unleashing a punch of his hand at the people who were gnawing at Litha and the others.
"Nligato!" Chiaki was surprised to see Nagato.
"Eh? Iris?" Hika was surprised to see Iris who came with Nagato.
"Hey, Fuyumi Nagato! They were people from the Rakuza Empire. We can't just deal with them!" Yuri who went along with Chiaki and Chaika reprimanded Nagato.
"Didn't they intend to do something to all of you?" Nagato stared intently at Yuri. "Whoever dares to hurt my friend. I will never stay silent!" Nagato stared at the dozens of men who were keeping a distance with him.
"Mr Lewis. This is a young man named Fuyumi Nagato!" One of the men shouted. Not long after a blond man came down from the roof of the building.
"So we got the wrong guy. This is Fuyumi Litha if it's not wrong. All we're looking for is Fuyumi Iris." A blond man named Lewis stared intently at Litha. Then he turned his gaze to look at Iris.
"The intruder who was assigned to kidnap Fuyumi Iris is dead. So it's time we catch the kid who has the power of that bloodline?" Lewis smiled faintly looking at Nagato's visibly emotional countenance.
"But Fuyumi Nagato is no match for us, Mr. Lewis..." One of the men who infiltrated from the Rakuza Empire gulped in fear seeing Nagato.
"We got this mission from Mr. Reptile. You guys are more afraid of Fuyumi Nagato than Mr. Reptile, huh?!" Lewis stared at the entire military force of the infiltrating Rakuza Empire and wore a red robe.
"You don't deserve to be part of His Majesty Orochi's army!" Lewis stabbed the stomach of the man who was afraid of Nagato using his right hand.
Nagato's eyes widened as well as the others. "Why is tonight like this?!" Nagato clicked his tongue.
"Nagato we better escape and seek help from the swordsman at the inn!" Chiaki held Nagato's arm.
"Don't do anything rash, Nagato!" Litha stared intently at Nagato as the young man seemed to be unable to control his emotions.
"It's a good thing you're okay, Litha." Nagato smiled with relief at Litha who looked like she always did. "I will keep my promise!" Inner Nagato.
Litha turned her gaze to look at Lewis who was lining her right hand with the aura of her body. Even Lewis can make his right hand taper.
"You guys just shut up!" Lewis looked at the dozens of men wearing red robes. "There's no choice but to finish them off! No one should know about our infiltration!"
Nagato released his body aura in large numbers. "Fire Rock!" When Nagato was ready to resist Lewis's attack. A sword slash that shattered the front streets of the Tiger Circle Arena shocked Lewis as well as Nagato.
"Oi, what are you doing here? I told you to go home, didn't I?" Hayabusa came with two black and white colored swords in her hands.
Nagato stared at Hayabusa. "You're the weirdo." Nagato's words made Hayabusa frown.
"I'm Hayabusa! Remember that Fuyumi Nagato!" Lewis' facial expression changed after hearing Hayabusa's name.
"Bad!" Lewis was upset. Then he gave the order to the military forces of the infiltrating Rakuza Empire to immediately retreat. "We're retreating! He's no match for us!"
Nagato was surprised to hear that. "Who is this guy?" Inner Nagato while staring intently at Hayabusa.
"You guys are back too. Tell the swordsman at the inn if there are any intruders from the Rakuza Empire and the Kinai Empire." Hayabusa looked at Lewis who had fled with dozens of men. "You tell your teachers. Hayabusa is back!"
Hayabusa's words made Nagato and the others confused. Not wanting to bother, Nagato invited the others to immediately return to the East Sun Inn.
Hayabusa smiled faintly. "So it's true that they're after people who have the power of the God-Goddess." Inner Hayabusa while following Nagato and the others secretly to make sure they were safe.
After arriving at the Eastern Sun Inn, Chiaki explains what happened to them to Kitakaze Owara. Hika, Tika and Litha tell Emi and Shirayuki about the incident.
"Dragon, what are you thinking now?" Iris sat up while glancing at Nagato.
"Iris, you didn't tell me about Guren Toshiko's death?" Nagato whispered softly in Iris' ear.
The beautiful girl stared at Nagato for quite a while. His hand held Nagato's sleeve. "You have to explain to my mother, Dragon!" Iris forces Nagato to explain Guren Toshiko's death to Shirayuki.
"Wait a minute, I'll explain. But for now we have to tell the others about the intruders from the Rakuza Empire and the Kinai Empire. As Hayabusa said", Nagato calmed Iris down. He gently smiled at Iris.
"I'll find Chibi first and tell her to smell the smell of the person who killed Guren Toshiko!" Nagato sat down and looked at Litha who was talking to Shirayuki.
Not long ago Nagato rushed to find Chibi who was inside the inn. The sweet cat was in Litha's room and was asleep. Nagato was a little annoyed at Chibi who was always asleep every time he saw her.
Before waking up Chibi who was asleep, Nagato looked for raw fish in the lodging kitchen. Then he deliberately lures Chibi to get up and go out using the raw fish.
"Meow-Meow..."
"Good, good. Here's Chibi slacker." Nagato seemed happy to see Chibi having trouble picking up the raw fish he was holding.
"Dragon!"
"Nligato!"
Nagato's actions subconsciously made Iris and Litha follow him. The two young girls were now on Nagato's left and right.
"Chibi, you're hungry, right?" Nagato was not good at finding excuses. Even now he looks confused.
"Dragon, you think I didn't realize it!" Iris took the raw fish in Nagato's hands. Then Litha also stared intently at Nagato.
"Nagato, I think you're hiding something from me?" Litha smiled sweetly at Nagato while stroking Chibi's head.
Nagato let out a long breath. "Well, you two why do you know that I'm hiding something?" Curiously Nagato looked at Iris and Litha.
"Because I'm always watching you, Dragon!"
"Because I'm always watching you, Nagato!"
Iris and Litha answered Nagato's question simultaneously. The faces of the two girls turned red.
"Don't say?" Nagato was surprised to hear Iris and Litha's reply. "You two peeked while I was showering"
Uncompleted Nagato said his sentence, Iris squeezed Nagato's nose and cut off his words. "Where might I do that!"
Litha laughed gigglingly at Nagato's reaction. Not how long Nagato stared at Iris and Litha quite seriously.
"Iris, please go with Litha and explain to Aunt Shirayuki and Grandma Emi about Guren Toshiko's death." Nagato looked like he was begging the two young girls. "There's something I want to do. And Litha, I'm gonna take Chibi for a little walk out."
Iris and Litha stared at each other. Then the two of them nodded and followed Nagato's words. "Alright, I'll explain about Guren Toshiko's death." Iris looked at Nagato worriedly but the beautiful girl still believed Nagato's actions.
Litha stroked Chibi's head gently. "Chibi, follow Nagato's orders. If you follow him then I will give you more raw fish than usual rations."
"Meow-Meow..."
Chibi immediately walked in front of Nagato and glanced at the handsome young man.
"Why do I feel annoyed with Chibi?!" Nagato was upset to see Chibi who looked like she was giving him orders to walk immediately.
"Be careful, Dragon..." Iris looked at Nagato worriedly. "I don't want you to get involved with anything dangerous." Iris's face seemed worried about Nagato.
Litha was even surprised to see Iris acting spoiled in front of Nagato. "True Iris. You mustn't act rashly, Nagato." Litha stared intently at Nagato.
"Remember, after we've finished explaining Guren Toshiko's death. You must return to this inn!" Litha reminded Nagato.
"Yes, I'll be back soon." Nagato smiled at Litha. Then he walked out of the inn and immediately rushed towards where Hayabusa was.
Not yet on the deserted streets where Guren Toshiko's body was found lying there, Hayabusa was waiting for Nagato on the streets of the city near the East Sun Inn.
"Oi, Fuyumi Nagato!" Hayabusa leaps from the guava tree. The man was even eating the guava fruit that was flourishing.
"So you wanted to talk to me about something, didn't you?" Hayabusa stared at Nagato. Then he ate the fruit in his right hand. "Quick say it now. I no longer have time to linger showing my identity."
Nagato smiled faintly at Hayabusa. "I'm signaling you to wait for me anyway because I brought my friend's pet cat." Then Nagato looked at Chibi who was resting her head at Nagato's feet.
Hayabusa's eyes narrowed. "Isn't this a Cute Cat? I thought this animal was extinct? This cat is one of the rarest animals. Where'd you find him?" Hayabusa asked Nagato a series of questions.
"This is a Sweet Cat. Me and my friend Litha found it somewhere." Nagato replied while looking at Hayabusa for a moment, then he turned his gaze to look at Chibi.
"From that, I think this Sweet Cat can find clues to the person who killed Guren Toshiko," Nagato added with a faint smile at Hayabusa's reaction.
"It's very helpful. All right, I'll take your help, Fuyumi Nagato." Hayabusa nodded her head. Then he looked at Nagato closely. "But you must follow my terms, no, you must obey my orders!"
Now Nagato looked at Hayabusa who looked so serious.
