Ch. 46 - Early End
A week had passed since Nagato visited the residence of the Kitakaze Clan, to see the training of would-be warriors of the Kitakaze Clan, his visit was a little memorable for Nagato, because he also wanted to fight against the four geniuses of the Kitakaze Clan someday.
On a clear day, Nagato was staring at the vast sky above, and saw the sun radiating slowly to illuminate life in this world, helping a life with its light.
Nagato stared meaningfully at the scene he was enjoying.
'Can I be like the sun?' Nagato closed his eyes while enjoying the sunlight that slowly began to touch his skin with the warmth of the morning.
Today Grandpa Hyogoro intends to continue the journey because they already have enough time to rest.
"If I walk alone, it's likely that I only need five days, if I keep running all day and three days' night is enough for me!" murmured Grandpa Hyogoro who was watching Shugo fill the supplies for them with a sizable bag.
"The turmoil that occurred in the empire due to the death of the teacher is quite troublesome for us, I can guess that sooner or later there will be a war on the border of the region!" suhut Kuina who was behind Grandpa Hyogoro with Serlin.
"I want to free the prisoners in Azbec, who were forced to work in the magic stone mine!" serlin muttered considering how weak he was.
"Your mother Merlin and several witches are also great because they are able to bring thousands of refugees to the Kai Empire, even they have made a village of their own!" it was Grandpa Hyogoro who heard Serlin's words.
"War will not be avoided, Pandu's death makes the hidden********* start popping up one by one!" Grandpa Hyogoro looked at Kuina and let out a long sigh, he recalled that when he was young, Grandpa Hyogoro had also been a thug in a city until one day he met the leader of the Kagutsuchi Clan, who was a leader of the Kagutsuchi Clan, his whole life slowly changed for the better.
After finishing packing the supplies, Shugo gave them to Grandpa Hyogoro and drove Grandpa Hyogoro and the others to the city gate.
Shugo offers a horse-drawn carriage, but Grandpa Hyogoro rejects him on the grounds that the place he is headed is near.
Nagato was still walking with his cane, although his leg was able to walk but still felt pain so Nagato preferred to walk with a cane because he did not want to force himself.
Chikai and Chaika approach Nagato and Litha, the two little twin girls hugged Litha tightly as if they did not want to part with the little girl who met them during the attack carried out by the Black Wolf group, even Chaika was crying in Litha's arms.
Nagato simply fell silent and looked at the three of them.
'If you recall, I've been with the three of them for a month!' Nagato recalled meeting himself with Litha as well as the twin little girls.
"Litha, when we meet again I have become part of the swordsman of the Kitakaze Clan!" Chiaki released her embrace and looked at Litha with determined eyes.
"I-I'm also Litha, so take care of yourself." Chaika hugged Litha's body and cried in her arms again.
"Cup ... cup ... cup ... this is not a farewell but this is the beginning of the meeting, Chaika?!" Litha rubbed Chaika's hair gently while trying to calm the shy little girl.
Shugo and Haru smiled as they rubbed their eyes looking at the two children.
"If you think we've been with Mr. Shugo for a month" Azai said, looking at Litha and the others.
"Hehe yes, time passes!" shugo said with a friendly smile to them.
"Chiaki, Chaika, give your gifts to Nagato and Litha." Haru hugged her two children and told them to give a package containing chocolate cake to Litha and Nagato.
"Yes mother." Chiaki and Chaika replied simultaneously, then they both gave Nagato and Litha their own chocolate cake.
"Thank you, you two hmmm ... " Litha hugged Chiaki and Chaika while wiggling her cheeks on Chaika's cheeks from touching.
"Litha-Yes, Litha!" Chaika was embarrassed because Litha's cheek touched her cheek.
"We both made it ourselves, so sorry if it doesn't taste like the usual cake." Chiaki smiled proudly as they both managed to make their own handmade chocolate cake to give to Litha and Nagato.
"Thank you, at least it doesn't taste spicy!" Nagato looked at the twin little girls, Kuina chuckled at Nagato's words.
After a few minutes they were at the city gate, Grandpa Hyogoro looked up at the sky then thanked Shugo and Haru.
"Mr Shugo and Mrs Haru, we will continue our journey, before that I would like to thank you for being willing to accept us and even deliver us here!" Grandpa Hyogoro bowed slowly after shaking hands with Shugo.
"I should be the one to thank you, if it wasn't for Grandpa and the others, it was likely that I was with my wife and children not here right now!" Shugo reminisced about their meeting with Grandpa Hyogoro and the others.
Haru, Serlin and Kuina embraced after which they shook hands.
"Thank you for being the friend who always chatted and shopped with me." Haru touched Serlin's cheek.
"Tante, I'm also very grateful to have bought him a lot of hehehe clothes ... " Serlin showed off the clothes she was wearing, while Kuina just let out a long sigh at the behavior of her friend.
After saying goodbye Grandpa Hyogoro and the others continued their journey to one of the three Hidden Forests located in Kai Empire, the Cakrawyuha Forest.
The Early Arc has ended, Thanks to all of you who have read and followed my first work so far. Starting a few weeks ahead the second Kagutsuchi Nagato Arc will begin with the title "Cakrawyuha Forest". There is something the author wants to convey in fact this work the author made at a time when he did not know the Noveltoon/Mangatoon application, in the last few months the author just a little fad filled the free time by writing an adventure story in the memo, but at the beginning of February 2020 the author took the step to upload this work in Noveltoon and Mangatoon, because he wanted to show the story of Nagato's adventure to all of you and all that takes a little courage.
