Ch. 80 - Towards the City of Strands
Nagato fended off the sword slash that the familiar man swung in his eyes.
"So you're apparently?!" Nagato smiled faintly then kicked the man's stomach.
ST 1 was surprised because the young man he underestimated turned out to have realized his movements from the beginning. Nagato stared intently at ST 1 while playing his sword.
'My mood is bad!' Nagato advanced to launch an attack but his slash attack could be easily repelled by ST 1.
Hyogoro's grandfather looked at Nagato then lowered Yoshimitsu's body and told Tsutomu to hold Yoshimitsu's body.
"I heard from Kuina that you weren't like this after you drowned in hatred for the fear of losing someone again made you care less about being a cold-blooded killer for the sake of protecting the precious person in your life!" Grandfather Hyogoro muttered softly as he stepped his feet slowly to calm Nagato down.
Nagato was annoyed that ST 1 could withstand every slash of his sword.
"Clean." Nagato inhaled the air around him in one breath.
"Round of Fire Needles!" Nagato brandished his sword from left to right and looked for an opening to kill ST 1 when he saw his enemy retreat a few steps back then Nagato spun his body until a dense flame trajectory touched a small flame needle shot out the ST 1.
"This kid!" ST 1 frowned at the sight of the sword technique Nagato used then he dodged Nagato's attack but his body was severely injured after being hit by the sword technique attack Nagato used.
Nagato processed the breathing then disappeared in view of ST 1, with the sword blade coated with fire he was about to slash the head of ST 1 but Grandpa Hyogoro came and kicked Nagato until it bounced off to the ground.
Hyogoro's grandfather slashed the head of ST 1 in a single slash of his sword then he walked towards Nagato with a furious look on his face.
"Nagato, if you act according to your emotions again then grandfather will not consider you as a disciple anymore!" Grandpa Hyogoro stared coldly at Nagato who was lying on the ground.
Hearing Grandpa Hyogoro's words made Nagato's entire senses stop.
"Grandfather Hyo, if you don't think of me as your disciple anymore I don't care and from now on I'll look for someone who can give me more power than this because my only desire in life is to kill the whole thing members of the Disaster Organization and I don't care about anything else!" Nagato stood up with a cold smile on his face he was about to attack Grandpa Hyogoro.
Hyogoro's grandfather fell silent at Nagato's words.
'Nagato was the victim of his parents' actions being too good even if the entire Kagutsuchi Clan was still alive until now maybe Nagato would have seen the bloody incident that killed the entire Kagutsuchi Clan and that would have made him a a vengeful man, what ironic!' Hyogoro's grandfather disappeared from Nagato's eyes and then he hit Nagato right in his heart.
"Don't be arrogant, you can kill Kazan with your current strength?!" Hyogoro's grandfather raised Nagato's body and then threw it right in front of Litha.
"Litha, calm this brat." Hyogoro's grandfather walked up to Amaga then he released an aura of intimidation towards Amaga.
Litha held onto Nagato's body which was about to faint.
"Damn it, Grandpa Hyo!" Nagato tried to stand up but Litha held back Nagato's body.
"Nagato ... " Litha tried to calm Nagato who still looked emotional.
After a few minutes Nagato was silent and leaned his head against Litha's thigh. Meanwhile Grandpa Hyogoro tells Yoshimitsu to explain to the villagers who trust Amaga too much.
Yoshimitsu nodded slowly then explained what happened to him even the man felt regret for saving Amaga back then.
The villagers fell silent and felt guilty towards Nagato and Litha after hearing Yoshimitsu's words.
Hyogoro's grandfather let out a long sigh then he asked the villagers if they would protect the bail and polite man who was in front of him.
Grandpa Hyogoro's Syndirian kept them quiet and pondered their deeds.
"Is there a last word you want to say?" Hyogoro's grandfather smiled kindly and said politely as Amaga did to the people around him.
Amaga gulped and broke into a cold sweat to see Grandpa Hyogoro who was ready to kill him even the man realized that he would not survive again.
"Grandpa, didn't I hire you!" Amaga pointed at Grandpa Hyogoro with her finger.
"You can't kill me and you have to help me kill that old man so I can take control of his entire fortune!" Amaga laughed and stared intently at Grandpa Hyogoro.
Hyogoro's grandfather smiled coldly after hearing Amaga's words.
"The money you gave me belongs to Mr. Yoshimitsu!" Hyogoro's grandfather pointed his sword at Amaga's neck leaving the glasses man speechless a thousand languages.
"There were two missions given to me by the first Kochi nobleman to investigate what was going on here and there I was ordered to kill you because the person who wrote the letter was Tsutomu!" Hyogoro's grandfather smiled at the look on Amaga's cold sweaty face in front of him.
"And the second I was ordered to eradicate the bandits who now still control Helai City, aren't they all your members?" Hyogoro's grandfather added.
Amaga was speechless at Grandpa Hyogoro's words because the plan he had built for 5 years failed to fall apart.
"The mission from you is quite strange because I was only ordered to come to this house and yesterday you directly gave me a map of the location of your group's bandits, isn't that strange enough, sister of Amasa?!" Hyogoro's grandfather fell silent at Amaga's facial features after hearing Amasa's name.
"How do you know that name?" Amaga was surprised that not many people knew of his past as a member of the Black Wolf bandit group.
"I killed him for robbing and holding villagers hostage." Hyogoro's grandfather looked at Amaga who was visibly emotional after hearing her answer.
"Based on the devil!" Amaga was about to hit Grandpa Hyogoro but he fell back on the ground when his whole body was sick and could not move because his body had crossed the line when fighting against a savage human even after that Nagato also beat him.
Hyogoro's grandfather smiled at Amaga's words and then he beat Amaga's head apart from his body.
Everyone who saw it turned their faces sideways because they could not bear to see it.
"If a person like me is a demon then a person like you who has robbed, killed, kidnapped a village girl even you are trying to kill the person who has saved you, is that the so-called human?!" Hyogoro's grandfather flicked his sword before blaring it back.
Amaga's plan was lost and the Kochi Nobles were rescued. A few days after that, Grandpa Hyogoro with Litha and Nagato were about to go to Helai City to eradicate the bandits who controlled the city.
Yoshimitsu thanked the three of them even the middle-aged man gave another reward to Grandpa Hyogoro. While Cika continued to look at Nagato who remained cold to her even though she was a noble princess.
'And if Nagato is the same age as me.' Cika let out a long sigh looking at Nagato who was getting away from her eyes.
The villagers escorted the three of them even some of the villagers apologized for hurting the feelings of the three of them.
Nagato did not care and just continued to step his feet away from the villagers.
Hyogoro's grandfather patted Nagato on the shoulder then he chuckled softly at seeing Nagato returning to his usual attitude.
