Ch. 217 - Lanterns Decorate the Night Sky of Lake Sakura!
Nagato's face turned red. His left hand held Iris's right hand which poked her face to clean the chili that was stuck to her cheek.
Nagato clenched Iris' index finger and sucked it. "Huh? Why am I doing this?" Nagato. He himself did not believe that he would act in such a way as to withstand the overwhelming shame.
Iris slowly pulled her index finger. "Dragon, what are you doing?" Iris protested while putting on a face of astonishment but she felt happy at the same time.
Nagato preferred to be silent and not answer. But his actions made Iris again sing her face sullen while puffing her cheeks.
Nagato and Iris were silent until an hour later, and it was not long before Okiayu's father and Okiayu's mother came to bring chili-filled meat with white rice that looked delicious to eat it.
Iris nodded in disbelief. "Dragon, I'm getting anxious seeing you like this." Iris complained while looking at Nagato's face which looked impatient to devour the spicy food in front of him.
"Please enjoy Young Master, Young Miss." Okiayu's mother put spicy food on the dining table. The whole chicken meat that was red because of the chili made Iris shudder at it, while Nagato put on a calm face that hid his admiration.
"Good meal..." Nagato again ate spicy food that has been served Hono Dining House with greed.
Iris smiled gently looking at Nagato who was eating voraciously. "At a time like this, Dragons look so cute. I like it more and more." Iris is full of meaning.
Okiayu's mother smiled as she watched Nagato leisurely eat the chili-stained chicken and beef. "20 years ago a beautiful woman also ate this level nine, third level spicy food." Nagato swallowed the beef, then he drank some water.
"Female? 20 Years ago? Who's she?" Nagato asked a question. Two minutes later he returned to eat spicy food that had been served.
It was not long before Mother Okiayu and Father Okiyau left Nagato who was sitting together with Iris.
"You were so good at eating it, Dragon..." Iris laughed softly as she looked at Nagato.
"Would you like to try it?" Nagato stared at Iris while poking at the chicken meat with a fork.
Iris shook her head softly. "I don't want to. I'd rather see you eat. Just by watching you eat, I'll be full." Ledek Iris while laughing.
Nagato ate the chicken with his heart. The way Nagato ate in Iris's eyes was very calm, but the young man looks very appreciative of the food because the plate containing chicken and beef smeared with chili sauce was only the bones that became the decorator of the plate.
"Tonight I'm satisfied." Nagato. Then he drank some water and sat down to relax for five minutes.
"Good Lord Young Master..." Okiayu came carrying a paper and sat down near Nagato and Iris. The girl sat down with Nagato and Iris at the number one table.
"I'm surprised the Young Master was able to finish this bike meal. Isn't it spicy?" Okiayu asked as she placed the paper she was holding on the floor. Then the girl picked up the dirty dishes that were on the dining table.
"It feels pretty spicy." Nagato answered. After that, he drank water again.
"Lumayan!" Iris and Okiayu were both shocked.
Then Nagato looked at the surprised face of Iris. "You why? I like spicy food like this. Is there a problem?" Nagato was astonished by Iris.
"No. It's just that I didn't expect you to be so resistant to spicy food like this." Iris closed her eyes as she answered Nagato's words.
Okiayu put dirty dishes in the laundry. After that the girl sat down with Nagato and Iris again.
"Before Young Master Nagato and Young Miss Iris left the Hono Dining House. I'm going to have a game to test your compatibility." Okiayu smiled faintly at the look on Nagato's face and Iris who was interested in playing with him.
"Dragon, I want to try this game." Iris looked at Nagato expectantly.
Nagato nodded his head. "Testing compatibility?" After that Nagato smiled faintly and muttered softly.
"From what I've seen, Young Master Nagato and Young Miss Iris still don't fully understand each other. This is a rare opportunity to see your personal opinion." Okiayu looked at the face of Iris who was interested but not with Nagato who was seen just following Iris' words.
"In that case, it's time we start the compatibility test." Okiayu saw the look on Nagato and Iris' face that suddenly became serious. "First question. When someone falls in front of you. What are you gonna do?"
Nagato and Iris stared intently at each other. A faint smile adorned the faces of the two.

"That's enough!" Okiayu laughed at Nagato who was very serious despite showing no interest at all. While Iris answered her questions only following the daily lessons taught by Shirayuki when Iris was a child.
"Continue to the second question." Nagato and Iris looked at each other with a faint smile.
"When anyone envies you, you don't know them at all. But they bother you and vilify your name behind your back. What are you gonna do in that moment?" Okiayu stared at Nagato and Iris' faces which looked puzzled for a moment.
"I don't care about people like that. I don't know them anyway. As long as my friends understand the real me, then that's enough for me." Iris answered back quickly, while Nagato stared at Iris for quite a while. It was not long before Nagato answered Okiayu's question.
"One more thing, if they insult the good name of people I know let alone they insult people who have contributed to my life. Then it's a different matter." Nagato added.
"Next third question." Okiayu looked at Nagato and Iris who were laughing softly. "This is the last question."
"Are you two going to come to Hono's Dining House again after this? That's his third question!" Okiayu laughed while standing up slowly.
"All promotions." Okiayu.
Nagato and Iris let out a long sigh. Then the two of them immediately rushed towards the cake seller's place.
"How much?" Nagato reached into his black pants pocket.
"Because I myself am a big fan of Young Master Nagato and Young Miss Iris, so three gold pieces for a stage nine third spicy meal, please, while the three-level three-spicy food amounted to one piece of gold." Okiayu smiled kindly at Nagato who was spending money. "A total of four gold pieces, Young Master."
Then Nagato paid his dinner money to Okiayu.
"Thank you. Hope you two come back. And enjoy the night atmosphere in the Capital of Daifuzen." Okiayu received four gold pieces from Nagato and bowed to the young man.
Nagato smiled faintly before leaving the Hono Dining House, while Iris waved her hand at Okiayu.
After that Iris pulled Nagato's hand towards the cake shop in the middle of Daifuzen Capital. It didn't take long for the two of them to arrive at the cake shop that was in the middle of the magnificent city in Daifuzen Capital.
Iris bought a chocolate cake with two gold pieces of money. The beautiful girl got three chocolate cookies placed in the food box.
After buying her favorite chocolate cake, Iris approached Nagato who was waiting for her. Then Nagato and Iris walked side by side towards Lake Sakura. "Let me take her." Nagato's left hand held the food box containing the cake. While his right hand held Iris's hand and grasped it tightly.
Iris glanced at Nagato and smiled gently at the young man walking beside her. His left hand returned a gentle touch of Nagato's palm.
Arriving at Sakura Lake, Nagato and Iris sat in the most desolate place. The place is filled with wisteria trees. The park bench looks empty, while on the edge of the lake from nine o'clock there are seen hundreds of people flying lanterns into the night sky around Lake Sakura.
Nagato and Iris sat together on a park bench. Nagato opened the food box and placed it in the middle of the bench where they both sat.
"Is this the barrier?" Iris looked at Nagato curiously.
"Not really." Nagato stared at the lantern that started flying.
It was not long before Iris ate the chocolate cake while looking at the lantern Nagato was staring at. Iris hand moved the food box to the side, then she shifted to sit closer at Nagato. After that Iris leaned on Nagato's shoulder right after she finished the three chocolate cookies she bought.
Nagato smiled faintly at Iris who was deliberately leaning her head on her shoulder. With a pounding heart, Nagato ventured to stroke Iris' fine hair and smell the fragrance from the delicate hair of the beautiful girl leaning on her shoulder.
"Dragon, about that request. I want you to hug me." Iris looked at Nagato's face and her hand held Nagato's right hand tightly.
Nagato blushed his face, as did Iris. "Is that all you're asking for?" Tanya Nagato made sure. His heart was very happy to hear Iris' request, but part of him also felt very embarrassed.
Iris nodded softly. "Dragon, I feel like you've always disappeared from me..." Suddenly Iris was crying. Iris' change of attitude made Nagato so surprised.

"I'll find a way out. I-i promise. I will not lose to this sickness and curse that is in my body." Nagato kissed Iris on the forehead. "I'm scared to be alone, too. I'm afraid of losing someone again. Do you still love a cowardly man like this?" Nagato stared at the two eyeballs of Iris who were still shedding tears.
"The only man who can make me like this is you, Dragon. Do I need to tell you my feelings once again." Iris wiped her tears and held Nagato's collar.
"You are also the woman who always made me want to survive to adulthood." Nagato replied to Iris and looked at the face of Iris who was being buried in her chest.
"I also want to grow up with you, Dragon." Iris was interrupted by her crying that had stopped.
"Iris, you already know my true identity, don't you?" Nagato smiled gently at Iris. But the beautiful girl now looked confused.
"Your identity? You are a Prince of Ryushima Island. If it's not wrong, seven years ago I heard it from Chiaki and Chaika's chatter while you were asleep." Iris replied as she looked at Nagato's surprised face.
