Ch. 279 — What Is Freedom?
After Karakurt returned to Black Rhino. Ignist's anger is becoming. He felt he had been underestimated because this was the second time the Ophys figure had interfered with his plan.
“Do you have a special relationship with one of the Five Rulers named Ophys?” Ignist asked Takatsugu who stood staggered.
There were no answers from Takatsugu nor Emi and the others. Ignist unleashes a blow on Takatsugu but the arrival of Ichiba and Shirayuki leaves Ignist shocked to see the people who have been on the verge of actually desperately fighting against him.
“Ichiba! Get the fuck out of here! You only deliver your lives against that man!” Takatsugu shouted when he saw Ichiba protecting him. With all his strength, Takatsugu finally chose to fight alongside Ichiba.
“Shirayuki! Don't do anything stupid!” Emi gritted her teeth in disbelief seeing her son coming along with Nagato, Iris, Litha, Hika and Tika.
Nagato and Iris stab Ignist in the stomach, but something shocking happens. Nagato's sword was broken, as was Iris's ice sword. Ignist's skin was so hard because he had the strength of a king of beasts.
‘Broken?’ Nagato was half in disbelief because the sword he had been flanking with his last aura along with the aura of Litha's magic was actually broken when he stabbed Ignist in the stomach.
“Stupid! You guys are too weak!” Ignist was about to hit Nagato and Iris but Shirayuki at high speed brushed off the hand.
Shirayuki's body staggered, in just one blow Shirayuki bounced back. His mouth spewed out a large amount of fresh blood.
“Mother!” Iris screamed hysterically. They had not expected Ignist to have any strength beyond reason.
Shirayuki along with the others was about to buy some time to save Emi and the others, but Ignist's power was far from what they had imagined.
Litha bit her lower lip when she saw Ignist was about to hit Iris. The sweet girl moved by herself when she saw Iris in danger. His hand pushed Iris' body. While Ignist's hand hit him.
Iris's face paled as Litha's body hit the wall of the building that had been destroyed, as well as Nagato who could not believe seeing Litha injured.
They can no longer think clearly. Nagato moved based on anger. Although his anger was overflowing but his body could not keep up with his anger and desire.
“Child, you think I'll get hurt with a blow of such a weak aura!” Ignist hit Nagato's stomach with a hand-filled punch.
The already weakened Nagato instantly bounced far back. When in despair, Ignist hardened his skin into the skin of the Red Dragon.
“Tenkai!” Ignist released an aura of intimidation in large numbers. That gripping aura made everyone who was within his range difficult to move.
“Raido! Help me torture them!” The sound of Ignist's cry sounded so loud as that of a Dragon Auman.
“I will start from this woman and twins..” Ignist released his body aura. Both of his hands were coated in flames for a few seconds before lava fell on both of his fists.
Ignist grinnedly aimed a streak of punch at Ichiba, Hika and Tika. Everyone who was unable to move was shocked because Ignist intended to kill the two twin young warriors.
Takatsugu moved quickly and protected the three most valuable people in his life.
“I won't let you touch all three of them one finger!” Takatsugu smiled widely.
But no one wants to escape. Even Chiaki and Chaika who were descendants of the Kitakaze Nobles chose to fight to protect Hanabi. As a result of their second determination, Chiaki and Chaika are now on the verge of breaking down. The bodies of the two twin girls were drenched in blood as they were pierced by swords.
Black Rhino will not hesitate to torture people. Dozens of young warriors have died from bleeding. Not only warriors from the Kai Empire, but the military forces from the Rakuza Empire and Kinai Empire were also unable to do much.

Hika and Tika's cries break to see the father they always wanted dead for protecting her.
Ignist pulled his hand from Takatsugu's stomach. He himself just found out if Takatsugu who has the power of Ushi Oni is the husband of Ichiba and the father of Hika and Tika.
“Hika's... Clem... Forgive your father this, I can't be a good father to you two.” Takatsugu smiled at the two children. After waiting for seventeen years to kill Ignist, he is killed by Ignist.
After being exposed to bursts of aura from the combined sealing technique. Ignist was still able to move even that burly and large man still had the power to transform his form into a Red Dragon.
Instead of dying, Ignist looked even more intimidating than before.
Ichiba stared intently at Ignist, but his hand was held by Takatsugu.
“Go and bring our two children. Ichiba, you must stay alive. You are the mother of my two sweet children. Let me protect you three, at least I want to be a husband and a cool father.” Takatsugu smiled and stood up straight. His stomach was hollow, yet with the rest of his strength, Takatsugu grinned looking at Ignist.
“What you—” Ignist was surprised to see the smiles of Satsuma, Chosu, Emi, Kata, Yamashita, Owara, Takamasa and all those who had sacrificed their lives just for the sake of killing him. That smile made Ignist feel a familiar premonition as well as sick of seeing smiles from people who should be desperate.
“Death! And never again set foot on this land of Ezzo!” All shouting. Immediately Ignist held the scar on his chest and shouted in pain.
His mouth spewed fresh blood. Seeing that, Vendom, Black Rhino, Karakurt even Raido did not believe it. The figure of Ignist who was famous for his cruelty now again groaned in pain.
Takatsugu collapsed to the ground and exhaled his last breath.
“Iris! Ohichi! Ichiba! Hika! Tika's! Get out of here!” Emi with the rest of her strength shouted.
All followed Emi who tried to stand up to stab Ignist's body in pain.
Oichi pulls Iris by the hand, while Ichiba takes his two children to where Shirayuki is lying.
“Sial! I'll finish you all!” Ignist grimaced in pain and stared intently at all the warriors who were about to attack him.
His stomach was pierced by Emi's sword. Then followed by swords belonging to Takamasa, Owara, Kata, Yamashita and all involved. The body that was as hard as a Dragon was pierced by dozens of swords.
“Death! A creature of hatred!” Shouted everything. The swordsman from the Kai Empire who pierced Ignist's body smiled. There were no regrets etched on their faces, at least this was all they could do to open up a new future of the Kai Empire.
