Ch. 25 - Kill Your Doubt
"This evening is so beautiful, the light of the full moon that shines upon this city also shines brightly, perfectly suited to liberate grieving souls."
Shirayuki smiled thinly and covered half her face with a fan, she looked beautiful and graceful in the middle of the battle.
"Senior Hana, let's get all this sorted out quickly." Shirayuki said as she remained calm.
"As usual, you always look so beautiful and graceful Snow White!" hana said as she looked at Shirayuki beside her.
"But being next to you makes me cold!" Hana added.
"Oh, sorry, I seem to be overdoing it." Shirayuki smiled warmly at Hana, then the chill slowly began to slowly dissipate as Shirayuki did not use her inner strength as it released the aura within her body excessively, although it is still a little cold because of the night wind that blows and hits Yasai City.
When the savage humans frozen by Shirayuki were crushed into small, box-shaped pieces of ice, there appeared a seven-meter-high savage human that was none other than X 1, a single one, he was about to attack Oichi and Ichiba who were beside Shirayuki.
"Ichiba, Oichi dodged!" Shouted Shirayuki in surprise at the presence of the X 1 savage humans coming towards them quickly.
Hearing Shirayuki worry about the two of them, both Ichiba and Oichi desperately tried to dodge X 1's hand punch, but their footsteps dodged too late because the hands of the X 1 savage man were right in front of Ichiba and Oichi.
"No! How did he get this fast?" inner Ichiba, his eyes widened and his face pale.
"This creature is big yet how can he move that fast." Oichi's inner as he looked at the hand blow of the X 1 savage man then he closed his eyes looking resigned.
"Clean." Azai's inner self while processing his breathing he stepped quickly towards Ichiba and Oichi.
"Tiger Awaits : Predator of Life." Azai shouted his nurse while slashing the right hand of the X 1 savage man who was about to hit Ichiba and Oichi.
The hand of the savage human X 1 was slashed by Azai's sword slash then Oichi opened his eyes and he was surprised to see a young man who saved his life, the girl smiled broadly at the prowess of Azai who slashed the hand of the X 1 savage human.
"Are you guys okay?" azai said while looking at Ichiba and Oichi.
"Thank you, I'm fine." Ichiba answered briefly.
"Oh, what am I? How weird is that?" inner Oichi while taking his eyes off Azai, his face flushed red and looked embarrassed to look at Azai.
"Alright" Azai said while observing the situation, then his eyes turned to the warriors from the Kitakaze Clan and he understood the situation the warrior group was in.
"Huhuh? After they were being disrespectful towards me and Nagato, now they made me feel even more annoyed!"
Azai muttered softly as he narrowed his eyes looking at Reto and the others.
"It's free if you become a swordsman if you can't believe in yourself and can't even take actions that you think are right and wrong!" azai said quoting Pandu as he looked at the swordsman of the Kitakaze Clan, his words were heard in Reto's ear and some warriors from the Kitakaze Clan, so they all turned to Azai.
Hearing Azai's words, a swordsman from the Kitakaze Clan named Miake made up his mind and fought the savage humans, who, because he felt ashamed if he remained silent when he heard the screams of a savage human voice that sounded so heart-wrenching.
Miake advanced on attacking the savage humans along with the warriors from the Misuzawa Clan and the Fuyumi Clan.
Hyogoro's grandfather who from earlier exerted a deep energy to intimidate dozens of savage humans was now visibly annoyed at the attitude of Reto and the swordsman of the Kitakaze Clan.
"If you do not have the determination to protect the inhabitants of this city then you better take refuge with the other residents of the city!" Grandpa Hyogoro stared at Reto, his voice rising and sounding a little angry.
"You're just in the way! Doubt it? Worrying? Kill those feelings and act like a true swordsman don't be a half-and-half swordsman!" Hyogoro's grandfather added.
"So your mouth! Do you intend to insult the Kitakaze Clan!" Shouted Reto to Grandpa Hyogoro.
"Yes!" Grandpa Hyogoro let out a long sigh.
"Free! A person who was only good at speaking, could only fight with his mouth!" Hyogoro's grandfather averted his gaze from Reto and stepped in quickly to kill the savage human who destroyed the building before them.
"If you want to prove that your thinking is true then prove it by your actions and don't act like an old coward, Senior!" Shirayuki said as she stared intently at Reto with her cold gaze, after which she led the swordsman from the Fuyumi Clan to come forward to attack the ferocious man.
The doubts that came to their hearts began to slowly fade and the battle would continue.
