Ch. 74 - Granny Beo
The three of them continued to enter the hall the deeper they felt into the passage of water from above falling onto their skin.
"This place looks so scary!" muttered Litha who could only see the dim lights - the dim lights that illuminated the hallway of the building.
"This hallway that became a hiding place was my first experience!" murmured Nagato casually himself smilingly looking around him.
"Front there is an old grandmother living with a parrot around her." Hyogoro's grandfather continued to enter the hallway of the building.
"Huh? A parrot?" Nagato was shocked to hear Grandpa Hyogoro's words.
"What do you think Grandpa wants to talk about? It turned out to be just saying something vague." muttered Litha who slightly shuddered when the water droplets touched her white skin.
"This place the more we enter the more stuffy I feel, it suffocates my breath and makes it hard to breathe air!" Nagato narrowed his eyes as he saw something flying towards him.
"I'm sorry if this place is too stuffy!" the sound of birds chirping that can imitate human voices that are none other than parrots arrive - suddenly perched on his shoulders.
Nagato and Litha were on high alert as they were surprised to see the parrot that was hanging around them both.
"I do not feel the air of their existence." Inner Litha who saw a black parrot perched on her shoulders.
"I didn't see properly and suddenly there was a parrot on my shoulder!" muttered Nagato who was staring coldly at the parrot on his shoulder.
"Make me feel upset." Nagato blew on the parrot that had perched on his shoulder.
Hyogoro's grandfather smiled faintly then glanced at the two parrots that perched on Litha and Nagato's shoulders.
"Haha, long time no see parrot 1 and parrot 2." Hyogoro's grandfather looked at the two parrots.
"Beo 1's? Beo 2's? Why not think of a better name?" inner Litha who heard Grandpa Hyogoro call the two parrots.
"It turns out that old man Hyogoro khak bangka." Parrot 1 chirping and seeing Grandpa Hyogoro.
"What business are you here ugly khak." said parrot 2 who heard the name Hyogoro.
Hyogoro's grandfather horrified his forehead hearing the parrot mocking him.
"That old fucking granny! Taught this damn bird incorrectly!" Hyogoro's grandfather clucked in annoyance as he looked at the two parrots.
"I'm here as usual to take my pay." Hyogoro's grandfather looked at the parrot that was resting on Nagato's shoulders.
"Chibi ... out .. " whispered Litha softly who felt Chibi was peeking out of her backpack.
"Meow - Meow."
"Cat ugly .. cat ugly."
The flying parrot 2 mocked the sweet cat Litha who was about to claw it. Chibi goes back into Litha's backpack and ignores the parrot's taunts.
"Heeh .. The parrot that can mock seems interesting." Nagato was about to touch the 1st parrot that had perched on his shoulder but the parrot flew away avoiding Nagato's hand.
"The hearts of these parrots are rare because they are just like the extinct sweet cat and are only found in the Cakrawyuha Forest. This parrot you can find in our dwelling." Hyogoro's grandfather looks at the parrot that avoided Nagato's hand-drapping.
"Don't just touch them, 'cause they can make fun of you with the chirp." Hyogoro's grandfather took something from his shirt.
"Supposed grandpa said from earlier ... eh wait to mock? This parrot?" Nagato pointed to the parrot that he thought was a dangerous Beast but was only a Vast Animal that he thought was an annoying animal.
"Did you bring the seeds from the great old forest?" parrot 1 flying around Grandpa Hyogoro.
"It's .. a packet of seeds - a damn bird grain!" Hyogoro's grandfather spread a packet containing seeds and parrot 1 grabbed the package with his feet.
"Thank you old jack." Parrot 1 flew into the hallway of the building.
"Follow me, ugly .. I'll take you to granny parrot." 2 Parrots fly around Grandpa Hyogoro, Litha and Nagato.
After entering a large room filled with goods and weapons with hundreds of free-flying parrots in the large room.
"That's grandma parrot?" Nagato frowned when he saw a seventy-year-old woman surrounded by parrots all over her body.
"For a long time no see, grandma parrot!" Grandpa Hyogoro sat down then greeted the parrot in front of him.
"Yes .. Who are they?" The parrot-grandmother looked at Nagato and Litha who came with Grandpa Hyogoro.
"Oh ..They are both my students." Grandpa Hyogoro replied briefly as he took out some medicinal pills and looked at the sharp weapon that was before him.
Nagato approached dozens of parrots who were perched on the canes in the room.
"Kaliam isn't like those two damn birds, come here."
When Nagato approached they burned the parrot flying away from Nagato. Litha laughed looking at Nagato which the parrot avoided.
"Hyogoro, I have very good information for you." Grandma parrot smiled looking at Grandpa Hyogoro.
"Follow me .. This mission has something to do with that person." Grandma stood up and followed Grandpa Hyogoro. The two of them walked into another room leaving Nagato and Litha.
