Ch. 143 - Iris and Hiragi's Marriage
The afternoon had arrived, the unexpected arrival of the Emperor Hizen Family on Samui Island made Shurayuki confused, the arrival of his younger brother named Yuki was very unexpected and unthinkable in Shirayuki's mind.
Shirayuki is married to her mother Fuyumi Emi. Seeing her mother's usual reaction, Shirayuki's premonition was very unpleasant. All of that was evident when Emi stared intently at Shirayuki.
"Shirayuki, I have betrothed your son Iris to Yuki's son Hiragi." Emi's words make Shirayuki sculpt, Emi's words just made Shirayuki not want to believe.
"Mother never rule my son's life. I've betrothed him to men Iris can count on in the future!" shirayuki stared intently at Emi.
"You used to love Pandu. You two used to be so close, but Pandu married an Azbec. Pandu did not choose you, my words were absolute," Emi looked at Shirayuki without any expression, "If the child you are marrying Iris is Pandu's child then I would gladly cancel Iris and Hiragi's arranged marriage." add Emi.
Shirayuki remembered her promise to Kuina not to tell anyone Nagato's true identity, Shirayuki's entire body felt so limp after hearing her own mother's words.
"I just want to make sure my own family is happy so that no one is like you!" emi sternly left Shirayuki and walked away.
Shirayuki did not return her mother's words at all, not knowing what she would explain to her son who was together with Nagato.
A few minutes after Emi left the Moon Snow Dormitory. Shirayuki saw her son holding the hand of a young man who was none other than Nagato. Iris' smile was so different when she was with Nagato.
"What should I say to my son?" inner Shirayuki was saddened because again - again the little happiness she wanted to protect was ruined by her own mother.
Iris waved at Nagato after arriving at the Moon Snow Dormitory. Iris tells Nagato to wait for her at the Snow Flower House which is her family's residence on Samui Island.
Iris approached Shirayuki who was looking at her in glass, as she got closer to her mother, in an instant her body was hugged by her mother.
"Mother.." muttered Iris astonished at the sad looking Shirayuki.
"Mother why?" Iris asked because her mother was shedding tears.
Shirayuki looked at Iris deeply, both of her hands touching Iris' cheeks so gently.
"Do you love Nagato?" shirayuki asked her son.
"I love the Dragon. Mother earlier I had expressed my feelings to the Dragon," Iris happily smiled broadly at her mother, "And the Dragon accepted my feelings Mom. The Dragon hugged me too." Iris added innocently.
Shirayuki was so happy to hear Iris's story. Her son's smile and happiness were things Shirayuki wanted to protect.
It was not long before Shirayuki invited Iris to return to the Snow Flower House. The happy feeling that Iris felt for only a moment, after opening the door of the Snow Flower House all turned into disintegration. Iris was devastated to see Emi gathering with Emperor Hizen and his family.
Emi told Iris to take a shower first and dress up as beautiful - beautiful, feeling depressed, restless and anxious continue to rush into all cells - Iris body cells.
Time continued to pass, but all of that seemed to stop for Iris and Shirayuki. It was a beautiful night for Iris as she was about to give Nagato the food she made with her own handmade, and the two of them had promised to meet again tonight had been ruined.
After dressing beautifully and gracefully, Emperor Hizen's eyes widened because Iris was so similar to Shirayuki's. Emperor Hizen's first child named Hiragi blushed his face, the beautiful girl and her beauty no one matched in the Kai Empire would become his wife someday.
Shirayuki sat beside Iris and did not greet Emperor Hizen at all. The betrothal between Iris and Hiragi was approved by Emi and Emperor Hizen along with Yuki.

"Iris and my son are a compatible couple. Isn't that right, brother?" Yuki looked at Shirayuki who was sitting next to Iris.
Shirayuki looked coldly at Yuki and looked anger in her eyes, her sister this time made the biggest mistake of her life.
Emperor Hizen was surprised to see Shirayuki who was angry at his wife, his two children also lowered their faces in fear of looking at Shirayuki.
"Take care of your attitude Shirayuki!" Emi stared coldly at Shirayuki and hit her fan onto the small table in front of her.
"Mom, Iris, I've been paired with a man who's more handsome, great and reliable than this kid!" shirayuki snapped a cold look at her own mother, after which her eyes stared intently at Hiragi who continued to stare at Iris.
"Mother never rule my son's life! Iris already has someone she loves!" Shirayuki hugged Iris's waist.
Emperor Hizen and Yuki had a bad face because they did not expect the arranged marriage that he thought would go smoothly, thus triggering the anger of Shirayuki.
"Sister, my son is also reliable. Iris will be happy if she becomes Hiragi's wife later on." Yuki tells Shirayuki and hopes to ease her brother's emotions.
Shirayuki did not see Yuki at all and ignored her sister's words, Emi stared intently at her first child who was acting out of bounds.
"I've told you, if the child you're marrying Iris is Pandu's. I will gladly support her, and I will cancel this matchmaking!" Emi stared intently at Shirayuki, "Do you want Iris to also feel your pain? You never learn from a mistake!" add Emi with wrath.
Shirayuki was silent and did not refute her mother's words, now she did not know how to explain it to Nagato.
Iris wanted to cry because she heard her match with Hiragi. The figure of the two in front of him continued to look at him, Iris' heart was so broken tonight.
Iris recalled the time - when Nagato touched her head and stroked her hair tenderly, in a stale atmosphere, Iris recalled her promise to meet Nagato tonight.
"Dragon.." Inner Iris recalled Nagato's embarrassed face - embarrassed and clasped her body.
Emi again leads a meeting on the matchmaking of Iris and Hiragi. The atmosphere calmed down again, Shirayuki and Iris just kept quiet until finally the conversation of Iris and Hiragi's matchmaking was over.
The sound of impact on the wood rang out, his voice was like a person hitting the wood that was in front of the Snow Flower House.
"Who is that?!" emi shouted as she felt an overwhelming aura of anger from outside.
Emperor Hizen and his family turned their heads towards the door, the sound of wood being hit was so loud it made them curious.
"Don't don't." Shirayuki's inner hope that the person who hit the wood isn't Nagato.
Iris stood up and left the room rejoicing over an arranged marriage, Shirayuki following her son.
Yuki became guilty of her brother. Actually Yuki wanted to surprise her brother, because she thought Shirayuki would be happy if Iris and Hiragi were betrothed, but it turned out that her actions made Shirayuki so angry.
Emi escorted Emperor Hizen and his family to a prepared room in the Snow Flower House.
Meanwhile Iris was carrying the chocolate cake she had made for Nagato. Slowly walking out of the Snow Flower House and gazing at the late night, Iris felt guilty for making Nagato wait until midnight.
Iris walked quickly to a bench in the park, she could not find Nagato anywhere. His shattered feelings made him shed tears of sorrow.
