Ch. 110 - Kumori City
Two days on the way to Kumori City, the city has now been seen from a distance. And, at the gate were seen hundreds of large-bodied and heavily armed city guards.
Before entering Kumori City, Kazuo got off the horse carriage and showed him his gold card and an invitation letter from the mayor of Kumori City.
After entering Kumori City, the gazes of the hundreds of city guards were directed at the three people wearing white fox masks who were escorting the Minami Nobles.
Kumori City looks quite big and can even be said to rival the Southern Provincial Capital, Chikuwa City. It's just that what makes Nagato restless is the look of the townspeople who look frightened and some of them look like pitying the arrival of the Minami Nobles.
"Grandfather Hyo." said Nagato from behind his white fox mask.
Hyogoro's grandfather realized the strangeness so he preferred to be quiet and observe the gazes of the townspeople.
"They're like pitying us?" inner Grandpa Hyogoro while continuing to walk beside the luxurious carriage of Nobles Minami.
"I hope that the person named Gore is here, if I manage to kill him then all my regrets will be done." murmured Grandpa Hyogoro with his breathing beginning to disorganize.
Nagato glanced at Grandpa Hyogoro because he heard a name that was unfamiliar to him.
"Gore's? Who's she?" inner Nagato while continuing to move his legs.
Slowly the Minami Nobles arrived at the mayor's residence. The place that had already changed a lot in Kazuo and Aiko's eyes. Formerly the residence of the mayor of Kumori City looks beautiful and simple, but now in front of the Mayor's residence there is a statue of a human who is none other than the mayor of Kumori City, Otani.
"Why is this place like this?" inner Kazuo when his luxurious horse carriage entered the residence of the mayor.
Aiko just laughed because she thought the statue did not symbolize Kumori City. The statue of Otani is not suitable for display in the residence of the mayor, because Otani himself has not contributed to Kumori City.
After the horse carriage stopped, Kazuo and Aiko along with their two children got off the horse carriage. They saw a luxurious house that had been renovated. Not long after the arrival of Nobles Minami, Otani comes to welcome Kazuo who comes with his family. Otani was accompanied by two people, one a man and the other a woman.
"Broker Hyogoro, you stay with me." said Kazuo reminded, because of the mission given to Grandpa Hyogoro to free Kumori City from Otani's clutches. And, the only option for Grandpa Hyogoro is to kill him.
"Welcome to Kumori City, Mr. Kazuo and Miss Aiko." welcome Otani with a big smile. Otani's face had a cut on his forehead and he did not look like a noble at all, as his face and stature were fierce.
"Who are the three of them? Mister Kazuo shouldn't worry, Kumori City is the safest city." Otani added after seeing three people wearing white fox masks guarding Kazuo.
"The three of them are my personal bodyguards." Kazuo replied to Otani's smile, then they shook hands and entered Otani's mansion.
Nagato continued to stare at the two people guarding Otani from behind his mask. Because he felt a momentary killing aura from the two people.
"It is not permissible to judge a person by his appearance, but I feel that there is something very suspicious in this city." Inner Nagato followed Kazuo from behind.
The maid at Otani's house escorted Nagato and Litha to the room with Kazuo and Aiko's two children. While Grandpa Hyogoro asked Kazuo to stay with him. Seeing that Otani told Kazuo not to worry, even he wished Grandpa Hyogoro to rest first.
Kazuo saw in the room that Kazue and Eiko were telling him about the two young people in white fox masks.
"Sister Kazue, the young man escorting us looks handsome. I want to get acquainted with her." Eiko told Kazue, the black-haired girl was smitten with Nagato.
Hearing that his sister was interested in Nagato, Kazue's reaction seemed unconcerned as she herself was attracted to Litha.
Aiko was seen after taking a bath and wearing her nightgown before going to bed early.
Meanwhile in the room given by Grandpa Hyogoro, Litha and Nagato. The three of them were talking about the plan that Grandpa Hyogoro was thinking about.

"He must have some connection with some underground organization." Grandpa Hyogoro whispered to Kazuo very quietly.
"What did you say?" kazuo's reaction was startled after hearing Grandpa Hyogoro's words.
"Ehem.pardon me for getting a little emotional." Kazuo looked at the wry-faced Otani. Otani himself did not expect Kazuo to be unable to cooperate with him.
"I should have invited the Seifu Nobles, though I made a little profit." Otani muttered as he thought of the slaves he had captured from his own citizens who were none other than the residents of Kumori city.
"We continue this conversation tomorrow before Mr. Kazuo comes home, I want to hear a good answer" Otani stood up and left with two guards. Otani's words sounded like they were threatening Kazuo.
Hyogoro's grandfather felt that Otani had no relationship with the leader of the Demon Worshipping Sect. Then he heard Kazuo's words of emotion. Kazuo does not expect Otani to be bright - light invites him to work together as a slave seller. Even worse, Otani has Kazuo support him to become mayor of Chikuwa City, in order to have a large stock of slavery.
