Ch. 196 - Kitakaze Yuri vs Reina Reikho
A few minutes after Nagato and Gyuki had spoken, the medics took Kakugo's body on a stretcher to the treatment room at the Tiger Circle Arena.
After Nagato sat on the spectator bench where the Fuyumi Clan was watching, the consecutive questions of the four girls made Nagato scratch his head and let out a long sigh.
"What dragon are you talking about with your opponent?" Iris first asked Nagato right after the young man sat down.
"Nagato what are you talking about with the referee's uncle?" Hika asked after Iris. The adorable twin girl looked at Nagato who seemed to be thinking about something.
"It looks like Kakugo is not in good shape. Did you feel any awkwardness when fighting against him, Nagato?" Litha asked Nagato while covering her mouth, the sweet girl noticed the bruises that were all over Kakugo's body. Not for how long did he deepen and ask himself, "Isn't he a disciple of the Eternal Fire College? Why does he have a bruise like that?"
Nagato leaned his body against the spectator bench, not how long it was Tika's turn to ask.
"You're good at controlling your emotions, that match I think you can win it without pulling your sword. Why would you prefer to use your sword, Nagato?" Tika glanced at Nagato while watching Nagato's facial features.
"Kakugo is sick, he cannot fight me at his best or at his full strength" Nagato told the four girls who asked him.
"You better not know about that." Nagato sat in his mind while sighing deeply.
On the next bench Shirayuki said softly to Emi.
"Did you realize something?" Shirayuki glanced at Emi who noticed Nagato and Gyuki's movements while speaking.
"It looks like Akaramizarawa Gyuki is talking something important to Nagato. And Gyuki made me remember someone. The enemy who injured Hika had a different mental condition than the usual child. The bruises that were all over his body were scars of torture from hand and wood blows. What concerns me is the burn on his stomach..." Emi glanced at Shirayuki for a moment, then said, "You're also aware of it, aren't you?" Shirayuki just nodded slowly.
A few minutes later, Gyuki immediately switched to the next match. The man immediately called two names who will compete in the second match of the round of 32.
"Furthermore the second round of 32 match, between Kitakaze Yuri and Reina Riekho! Two names I'm calling please come forward!" Gyuki called out the name of the next participant who was about to compete.
Yuri looked at her best, she was the only representative from the Kitakaze Clan who entered the ten young genius swordsmen. The girl who used to have a boy-like appearance is now a beautiful girl who is able to attract the opposite sex.
Yuri's opponent in the round of 32 was the representative of the Waterfall of Truth. Before walking towards the center of the field of the Tiger Circle Arena looked Chiaki and Chaika were encouraging to Yuri.
"Sir Yuri's spirit!" Chiaki gave a spirited speech to Yuri.
"Sister Yuri's spirit..." Chaika gave a spirited speech to Yuri with a soft voice.
Yuri only smiled as she waved her hand at the twin girls, not how long she saw Kenji waving at her with a smile.
"Why is Kenji retaliating for my hand?" Yuri felt astonishment at Kenji who returned the wave of his hand.
After arriving at the field of the Tiger Circle Arena, Yuri stood waiting for Reina Riekho's arrival. It didn't take long for Yuri to wait.
"It's an honor for me to fight Big Brother Yuri who belongs to the top ten genius young swordsmen. Please guide her, Brother Yuri." Reina Riekho extended his hand to Yuri.
"It doesn't have to be too formal, after all, it's just an obscure nickname. I don't know who gave me such a nickname, but to me it was useless. There's no genius who claims to be a genius, right?" Yuki smiled faintly at Reina and said, "Only a fool calls himself a genius."
Reina fell silent after hearing Yuri's words. According to Reina, Yuri's words were true as they were, the Tiger Tournament's competition grew more and more changed as the Ten Elders Kai held complete control.
"Take the distance." Gyuki instantly gave orders to Yuri and Reina to keep their distance, the two girls took a few steps back to stand in the predetermined line.
"Why did I say something like a senior. It seems like this is due to overindulging Chiaki and Chaika." Yuri sat up with shame in her heart.
Gyuki looked at Yuri and Reina for a moment, then she gave the match cue.
"The second round of the last 32 of the Kai Tiger Tournament between Kitakaze Yuri and Reina Reikho begins!" Gyuki jumped back and observed the movements of Yuri and Reina who were still observing each other.
Yuri silently poured her inner power on her hand knife, after which she launched an opening attack from a distance. A wind blade shot rapidly towards Reina.
"Master Mio has taught this technique." Reina made a softened mind in her heart, after which she went back to her inner self, "Water Defense Wall."
A wall of water emerged from the ground, the wind blades that shot rapidly towards Reina collided with the water defense wall.
Yuri smiled faintly, then the girl drew her neatly-gloved sword at her waist. Yuri herself had been learning sword arts for the past few years, considering that the Kai Empire was identical to the figure of a swordsman, making Yuri choose to pursue sword arts.
Reina squeezed her hand to make the water defense wall crumble, after being destroyed, Reina manipulated the water defense wall into a spear made entirely of water aimed at Yuri.
"Water Spear."
Reina pointed that sizable water spear towards Yuri. The audience was amazed by Reina's ability. While they had yet to see Yuri's true abilities.
Yuri used wind steps to run, her hand slashing her sword from afar as a water spear shot rapidly towards her. The girl also processed her breathing, her chest did not bulge like Ninjin and the others, Yuri was already adept at controlling the aura as well as practicing her breathing.
"Wind Gusts In Incision."
Yuri slashed her sword to resist Reina's water spear attack. A clash occurred in the air between the wind and water, splashes of water were thrown towards the spectator stands. A smile expands on Yuri's face when she sees her attack along with Reina's attack colliding.
"The Wind is Invisible to the Eye."
Yuri's mouth breathed out a light green wind vortex that straightened towards Reina. The girl followed the attack she had pinned on Reina from behind.
To counter the attack, Reina flowed her sword with deep strength, then she released her light blue body aura.
"Twin Walnut Brackets."
Reina used the sword style she created herself, her sword slash she swung to resist the attack of Yuri's light green wind vortex.
The clash occurred when Reina was able to fend off the light green-colored vortex of wind that Yuri had rushed over and pointed it towards the air.
On top of the impact explosion of water and wind, a green-colored vortex of wind wrapped around a light blue canary exploded in the air. The audience was amazed to see it, they were all presented with a very interesting match.
The sound of clashing swords echoed in the Tiger Circle Arena as Yuri and Reina exchanged attacks down there, from the stands it was obvious that the two girls were moving around, right after they exchanged attacks.
Yuri flowed her sword with deep strength and her light green body aura. His sword was now glowing brightly in light green.
Reina did the same with Yuri. The two of them exchanged back attacks, the sound of clashing swords as well as speed fighting in swinging swords made Yuri and Reina fight fiercely.
The fierce battle made dust cover the middle of the field of the Tiger Circle Arena as Yuri and Reina slashed out at each other with their radiant swords. The collision that makes the wind blow strong is the cause of the dust appears.
Dust began to block the audience above the stands from being able to see Yuri and Reina fighting inside the dust pool.
Not long after the explosion occurred along with the whirlwind mixed with water visible above the air, but the bodies of the two girls were invisible due to the dust covering the middle of the field of the Tiger Circle Arena.
