Ch. 17 - Situation of Yasai City

Nagato was chatting with Grandpa Hyogoro about the outside world while it was behind, Haru was chatting with Serlin and Kuina while Litha, Chiaki and Chaika were eating bread while playing.

"Kuina, where did Nagato come from?" asked Haru who looked curious.

"Nagato is from a faraway land that Ryushima had heard of!" Kuina made up a story recalling the Pandu story that told of her adventurers going to Ryushima island.

Azai and Serlin frowned upon hearing Kuina making up the story and the two of them only smiled slightly.

"Rhyaushima? So the dragon-shaped island really exists?" Haru looks increasingly curious about Kuina's story.

"If Aunt Haru is being excited is very similar to Chiaki!" inner Kuina frowned seeing Haru's reaction.

Serlin smiled looking at the confused Kuina then the girl came back to chat.

"Nagato is a prince from Ryushima Island, Aunt Haru!" serlin said clearly while blinking her eyes at Haru.

"Nagato, a Prince? Ryushima?" Litha muttered softly when she heard Serlin's words.

"Serlin's brother, so Nagato is the son of the king and he's a prince, it's worth it that he has a handsome face!" chiaki said innocently which made Shugo and Haru chuckle at hearing it.

"Either why Nagato wanted to hide this and he didn't like it very much if anyone was plotting his past, but I'm sure one day everyone will be surprised by his identity!" said Azai who made them become more curious, Shugo who had been silent since then began to speak up.

"Nagato's face is similar to Pandu's, I was rescued by him when I was a child, we were the same age, but at first glance Nagato is more handsome than Pandu because he looks cold and so calm, what don't don't he's Pandu's son?" shugo asked with a smile that made Azai, Kuina and Serlin confused when they wanted to answer the question.

Most of the East Fortress supported Pandu to become Emperor, because at that time Pandu was the most genius child in his time even until now no one has been able to match his glory when he was young, his extraordinary achievements and talents made many people become envious of Pandu even some clans tried to kill him, but Pandu's overly kind nature kept him smiling under any circumstances.

"Something when Mr Shugo will find out for himself?" kuina replied slowly then she turned her face aside.

As he seems to be asking a sensitive question, Shugo then changes the subject.

"I wish I had a daughter-in-law like Nagato ..! Hihihi." said Haru quietly with a small laugh, making Kuina become creepy because of Haru's laughter that made her a little amused.

Naturally, if Haru wants to match Nagato with one of his children, because in addition to his young age, Nagato already looks his talent and he is reliable when he grows up.

But Kuina looks sad because the thing that the girl fears the most is that when Nagato grows up he will look for the person who is able to give him the strength to avenge the death of his parents.

It didn't feel like half a day they were continuing on so Grandpa Hyogoro let the dark horse that pulled the carriage to rest.

Shugo tells his two twins to bring the food he has bought to take out for them to eat. Litha, Chiaki and Chaika brought bread and food and sat under a tree, right beside the horse carriage stopped.

Nagato ate the bread while thinking about the way he got stronger, because he still felt so weak. Then he approached Serlin who was sitting beside Haru, Nagato noticed the three girls playing.

"I feel like Litha has something in common with me?" nagato's inner self was somehow if she saw Litha, like there was something special inside the little girl's body.

Nagato smiled faintly at the gentle smile Litha was pointing at him.

"Litha, it also takes time to open up." Nagato's inner self noticed Litha's movements that caught his attention.

After enough rest they again continued their journey towards Yasai City, a beautiful sight was seen because on their left right side there was a field of well-grown lavender and wisteria flowers in the place.

"This view!" nagato's mind was looking around him.

"Litha, you've never seen that, have you?" Chiaki looks so cheerful while telling me that the trip to Yasai City is really fun because they can see the flower fields along the way.

"Mmm ..I've never been out of town before, so this is my first experience seeing this sight!" litha said softly while looking at the scenery of the flower fields with Chiaki and Chaika.

"Annu ...Litha ..did you know if westeria flowers ..it ..be-toxic?" chaika said softly while pointing at the westeria flower.

"I don't know, but the flower looks beautiful, doesn't it? Why is that flower poisonous!" Litha chimed in Chaika's words, then Chaika's face looked so happy then the shy little girl told Litha.

"I-I ..read it in books, she said every part of the westeria flower was poisonous!" Chaika said quietly but the little girl looked happy because she could explain it to Litha.

"Eh .the flower is poisonous, even every part of it, too bad it looks beautiful ..hmph!" Litha was surprised to hear Chaika's explanation, the little girl snorted softly.

In a hidden place someone who is conducting human trials smiles broadly, because he wants to test his army of savage humans to kidnap two twin little girls, the children of Shugo and Haru.

"Yasai City, isn't it? There was someone who finished off the entire group of Black Wolves, did Pandu do it? But that's impossible because that guy is dead at Kazan's hands that's what I heard, after all my guinea pig should catch those two twin boys, otherwise! He's gonna be after my life!" A person behind the shadow laughed with a wide smile on his face he was the Former Seven Deadly Great Sins and he was also the Leader of the Demon Worshiping Sect.

"Stupid!!, you're my precious right hand I don't want to see you die silly, let those guinea pigs die anyway I told that crazy human to keep an eye on them!" The Demon Worshipping Sect leader laughed loudly while staring at the part of the human hand that had been cut off and on his middle finger was a ring.

"If that person were to leave then we can hear to what extent the guinea pig's abilities have developed!" said the right hand of the Demon Worship Sect Leader.

Meanwhile, Grandpa Hyogoro's group had not realized that the place they were heading to would be a battleground.

Nagato sat quietly beside Grandpa Hyogoro while eating bread, he stared at the calm, orange-colored sky signifying the late afternoon.

"It looks like tonight's overnight in this place!" inner Nagato while sighing long.

Not long after Nagato thought the same, the Horse Stroller stopped and Grandpa Hyogoro explained that they would spend the night in a place surrounded by this flower field. They came out of the carriage one by one while looking at the flower fields that spoiled the eyes even though the sky was almost dark.

The next morning they resumed their journey to Yasai City, likely if there were no disturbance today they would reach Yasai City.

"Mother today I want to take a shower, I didn't shower all day yesterday!" Chaiki complained because the little girl could not take a bath for a day.

Meanwhile in Yasai City there were many warriors guarding the city, because the news of Roshima City being burned to a sea of fire had spread rapidly in the Kai Empire.

Clan Leader Fuyumi sent her daughter who became the vice-leader of the clan to come monitor Yasai City, she was a beautiful woman with such a cold gaze, her skin was as white as snow, and her long white hair and pale blue lips she had the nickname Snow White.

"Daughter Lord Shirayuki, is the princess sure to invite Iris to join the mission in Yasai City!" fuyumi Ichiba is a member of Fuyumi Shirayuki.

"Ichiba, I want Iris to see the outside world, after all Iris is my son, I'm sure she'll gain valuable experience there!" shirayuki's voice sounded calm as her hand played the fan, making her followers stunned by her charm even though the followers of Fuyumi Shirayuki were all women.

Iris is accompanied by Tika and Hika who are twin girls and they are both the children of Ichiba - Iris' only peer.

The female warrior troupe of the Fuyumi Clan arrived at the Yasai City Branch Kitakaze Inn, where they had a meeting with the Swordsman of the Kitakaze Clan and the Misuzawa Clan.

Nagato's entourage has arrived in front of Yasai City's gates.

"The city is visible!" chiaki shouted loudly.

"Big brother, don't yell, noisily know!" said Chaika slowly and pulled up Chiaki's sleeves.

"So that's the city?" muttered Litha slowly.

Both Hyogoro and Nagato's grandfather sitting in front saw that Yasai City's guards were more than usual, as the horse-drawn carriage approached the city gate, their entourage was told to stop and was confronted by several heavily armed city guards as if preparing for battle.

Shugo looked out and intervened after seeing the city gatekeepers not letting them in.

"Excuse me, I'm Kitakaze Shugo, the Head of the Kitakaze Nobles Family." Shugo said as he showed the Gold Card which showed that he was a Great Noble.

"Sorry for our insolence, sir." The guard bowed his head, then they explained that the Demon Worshipping Sect had started making movements so they tightened the security of Yasai City as news of Roshima City being burnt into a sea of flames by the Demon Worshiping Sect had spread throughout the Empire Kai quickly, unwilling to be late to make a move for the Mayor of Yasai City asking for help from the three nearby Clans.

Shugo then nodded slowly while explaining to the city guards that he and his family were attacked by a group of Black Wolf robbers so they bought a new horse carriage.

The city guards also did not recognize the horse carriage that Shugo used because there was no large flag with a light green wind symbol and it read Our Nobles on the horse carriage.

After a long chat with the guards of Yasai City, Shugo knew the outline of the story and then re-entered the carriage.

Then Shugo's entourage is allowed to enter Yasai City, the city's buildings have a unique color that is quite unique city residents paint their homes with a variety of colors, and the city's residents paint their houses with a variety of colors, of course they paint their homes with the same color as vegetables, orange, purple, green, and others.

Shugo and Haru got out of the horse carriage, after seeing the two most important people from our Nobles, the warriors from the Kitakaze Clan lowered their heads and apologized.

"Master and Miss, why are you able to wear a horse carriage like this, what has happened?" The warriors ask Shugo and Haru because they are worried for both of them.

"I'll explain later!" Shugo smiled as he stepped into the inn then Haru invited them all to enter the inn.

"It seems we don't deserve to stay here Miss!" grandpa Hyogoro said while scratching his head.

"Grandfather, we deserve to stay over, after all Nagato is the son of Mr. Pan-" not finished talking Kuina hit Azai's stomach hard enough.

"Oh ..sick Kuina?!" Azai groaned in pain because his stomach hit Kuina so hard, the young man did not realize what he was going to say just now.

Kuina stared intently at Azai to make her realize what she was going to say just now.

"Oh, yes hehehe sorry ..sorry!" Azai gave a small laugh while trying to force herself to smile even though she was enduring the pain of Kuina's punch.

"Hehehe .. sorry ..sorry! Your head ...that's ..sorry!" kuina said with an angry face made Azai not dare to look at the girl.

Nagato and Grandpa Hyogoro got off the horse carriage, while Chiaki, Chaika and Litha were waiting for Nagato.

Haru then walks into the inn followed by Chiaki, Chaika and Litha from behind.

"We make sure that the three of us will protect Nagato no matter what!" kuina said with a serious face.

"Huh, I want to take a shower!" Serlin styled her hair while looking at Nagato in front of her.

"There are many warriors in this inn, so it is likely that they will ask us for our identity!" sahut Azai while feeling the air of existence in the inn.

"Don't be too uptight, I don't really care about them!" Nagato walked into the Kitakaze inn. After opening the door of the inn there was a middle room that looked so spacious, and looked a lot of warriors.

When Nagato opened the door, all the warriors looked at him, as he looked like he was being guarded by the three people behind him and himself looked like an important person.
