Nagato Kagutsuchi: The Dawn

Nagato Kagutsuchi: The Dawn
Ch. 76 - Amaga

One of the guards led them into the residence of the Kochi Nobles. There was a man wearing glasses and thirty years old coming to greet the three of them. The man who claimed to be a client of Hyogoro's grandfather named Amaga introduced himself to the three of them.

"Welcome to the residence of the Kochi Nobles Lord Swordsman." Amaga politely greeted the three of them.

"Thank you, Mr. Amaga." Hyogoro's grandfather smiled then Amaga invited them into the house in which the room was very spacious.

"Dragon?" Hyogoro's grandfather stared intently at Amaga's back in front of him.

"Nagato, this house is very different from our house in the Cakrawyuha Forest." Litha chuckled as she approached Nagato.

Nagato just smiled as he continued to walk after Grandpa Hyogoro and Amaga.

"I hired Mr. Swordsman to take care of the bandits who set up headquarters in this region ... finally, many of the bandits who steal the crops of the citizens even they kill and steal jewelry at the village residents who are in the Kochi region." Amaga smiled kindly while explaining the situation that was happening in the Kochi Nobles Residence.

Nagato turned his face to the side after hearing Amaga's words because he thought there was something strange from Amaga's words.

'Why not send an imperial soldier? Something wrong here?' Nagato smiled faintly looking at Amaga.

Amaga escorted the three of them to a prepared room so they could rest after a long trip. Hyogoro's grandfather prepared one room for himself which was spacious while the other one was given to Nagato and Litha. According to Nagato there was something Amaga had hidden in the three of them.

Nagato spread his body while looking at Litha who was sitting beside the bed.

"Why? Don't you want to sleep with me?" Nagato looked at Litha who was keeping her distance.

Litha then glanced at Nagato and jumped at the young man who was lying in the bedroom.

"I've been sleeping next to you, so why am I ashamed!" Litha deliberately stroked Nagato then slept beside the young man.

Nagato touched Litha's fine hair, feeling the gentle touch of Nagato's hand, the little girl closed her eyes and let Nagato touch her hair.

Nagato's hand came down touching Litha's neck and stroked her slowly.

"Who bit you? Why is there a bite mark on your neck?" Nagato stood looking at Litha who was lying below him.

Litha turned her face aside in embarrassment to see Nagato staring at her neck. Although Litha was a little upset because of Nagato's insensitive nature even the young man was not aware of his own good looks if many little girls were interested in him.

"This is Chibi's bite!" Litha pushed Nagato's body and sat down beside the young man.

Nagato furrowed his forehead after hearing Litha's reply then he looked coldly at Chibi who was sleeping on the edge of the bed.

"So this cat bit you? I've guessed this cat is just a cute-looking temple to hide its power hidden behind its paws!" Nagato interrupted Chibi who was sleeping beside the bed.

Litha was speechless when she heard Nagato saying that she felt upset because Nagato did not remember the incident in which Nagato bit her neck when the young man was injured.

"Naagato! Have you forgotten?!" Litha stared intently at Nagato.

Nagato looked at Litha's angry countenance but he did not know the reason why Litha could be so angry.

"I remember!" Nagato recalled biting Litha by the neck but did not expect to leave a bite scar on Litha's white neck. Nagato's words made Litha blush in embarrassment as Nagato casually explained all of that to her.

Then Nagato laid down his body to reflect on the incident when he felt regret and guilt because his bite left a scar on Litha's neck.

The next day Amaga invited the three of them to breakfast in a dining room. Hyogoro's grandfather was a little suspicious because he did not see anyone who had the charisma of a noble who was eating with Amaga.

After finishing breakfast Nagato and Litha return to the room to follow Chibi who will lead them to the place of the mysterious man while Grandpa Hyogoro asks Amaga about the whereabouts of the head of the Kochi noble family then Amaga explains to Grandpa Hyogoro that there was a man who had worked for decades in the residence of the Nobles of Kochi pushed the head of the family down the river and the remaining daughter of the 17-year-old head of the family named Kochi Cika and Cika's mother died after giving birth to Cika.

Hearing that his father had died falling from the cliff made Cika sad even the girl had locked herself up for 2 weeks. Hyogoro's grandfather stroked his chin as he asked the identity of the man who pushed Cika's father to Amaga. Then Amaga explained the characteristics of the person along with his name.

'Your 'Tsutom? Is it true that he killed the head of the Kochi family?' Hyogoro's grandfather frowned after hearing Amaga's explanation.

Before leaving the dining room Grandpa Hyogoro was given the location where the bandt who messed up in the Kochi area when he opened the door in front of Nagato with Litha who was carrying Chibi. Seeing the reaction of the two of them made Grandpa Hyogoro even more sure if something was wrong in the Kochi Nobles residence.

Hyogoro's grandfather gave the task of staying in the house of the Kochi nobleman to supervise Amaga's actions.

Nagato and Litha observed Amaga sitting with the housekeeper in the middle room.

"Nagato, is that mysterious man Mr. Amaga!" whispered Litha slowly stood beside Nagato.

"I'm sure of Chibi's smell because I didn't like her from the beginning!" I don't know why Nagato was upset to see Amaga.

Litha rebukes Nagato and they follow Amaga, who is walking behind the house to a brown building that is used as a barn for food.

Amaga did not realize that he was being followed by Nagato and Litha before entering the warehouse, the man turned his right and left to make sure that no one was following him.

Nagato and Litha stood beside the warehouse eavesdropping on Amaga's conversation with others.

Inside the warehouse Amaga is reporting to ST 1 that he has hired Grandpa Hyogoro to frame him and accuse him of being the killer who killed Cika in order for Amaga to easily take control of the wealth of the Kochi Nobles even more shocking Nagato and Litha after hearing the conversation of the two people in the warehouse, it turns out that the identity of Amaga is the leader of the bandits who have entered the forbidden water that can turn humans into savage humans into a given wine throughout members.

Nagato held onto Litha's hand as he felt a gripping bloodlust from ST 1.

After a few minutes ST 1 came out from inside the warehouse the man passed Nagato and Litha but the red veiled man ignored the two of them and went away from the residence of the Kochi Nobles.

"My men on guard are hilly near the village settlement and will plunder the houses of the villagers today after the villagers are frightened then at that time I come to rescue them and I will kill the remaining members!" Amaga laughs while tidying up her glasses hearing that Nagato and Litha try to stay hidden but Amaga sees them both.

"What are you doing here, boy?!" Amaga was angry that Nagato and Litha had heard his words.

Nagato frowned and almost finished off Amaga at that moment but Litha hit Nagato on the head to calm him down.

"We were just playing following this cat and accidentally met Mr. Amaga!" Litha tried not to make Amaga suspicious of the two of them.

"Ehem ... You guys don't wander around!" Amaga returned to speaking politely before leaving the two of them.

Nagato stared coldly at Amaga who was getting away from his sight.

"That fucking glasses!" Nagato hit the building beside him.

Litha let out a long sigh after seeing Amaga leave then she took Nagato to go to the room and took the bag to go catch up with Grandpa Hyogoro.

A few hours after the talk Amaga and ST 1 in the back yard of the Kochi Nobles house. Hyogoro's grandfather is fighting with a bandit who has turned into a savage human on a hill close to the village settlement but Grandpa Hyogoro can kill all those savage humans in an instant without a hitch while Amaga is the one who is feeling suspicious of Nagato and Litha watching over the two of them secretly - in hiding.

Amaga eavesdropped on Nagato and Litha talking in the room from behind the door and the man did not expect that his bandit members had been snuffed out by Grandpa Hyogoro last night when the three of them were inside journey here.

"My plan to be praised by the villagers failed because of these two brats!" Amaga moves away from Nagato and Litha's room while planning something to get rid of them both.

The sun gave out its scorching light, the sky behind the clouds looked so bright and the morning let out an afternoon brow to say goodbye.

Nagato and Litha who were on their way following Grandpa Hyogoro ran without direction because they did not know the location of the headquarters of the bandits.

Nagato looked at Litha who was beside him.

"Where's your sword?" reprimand Nagato who saw Litha did not bring his sword.

Litha only realized that her sword was left in the house of the Kochi nobleman.

"I left it in my room!" Litha held her head because she did not think she would be this careless.

Nagato and Litha returned to the residence of the Kochi Nobles but after the two of them got there the guards stared at the two of them with sharp gazes.

"That's the two boys who killed Mr. Amaga!" one of the guards shouted when he saw Nagato and Litha enter the Kochi Nobles' house.

Nagato and Litha were shocked as they both just returned to pick up Litha's sword but were greeted with the cold gazes of the burly guards.

Nagato pulled Litha's hand past the dozens of guards who blocked the two of them.

Litha was surprised when she arrived at the room where she used to rest with Nagato there was the corpse of the bespectacled man similar to Amaga and on top of the body of the man's corpse there was his sword drenched in blood.

Nagato took Litha's sword and tried to explain to the guards that there was a misunderstanding here but the guards did not listen to her words and showered them with hand blows.

"Can't be talked to!" Nagato stared coldly at the guards and pulled Litha's hand because the little girl still could not believe that Amasa was dead.

Nagato and Litha ran away in pursuit of the guards of the Kochi Nobles residence and there were even some villagers who had come after them both.

"Have we not saved their daughters! Why are they chasing us and staring at us as a murderer?!" Nagato continued to pull Litha's hand until the two of them reached a forest that was quite far from the village settlement.

Nagato and Litha had been besieged from all sides.

"It turns out you came here only to kill Young Master Amaga! I misjudged you!" one of the villagers stared coldly at Nagato and Litha.

"Basic killer!" one of the other villagers.

"We catch the little girl and we're in the village with a stone's throw!" one of the villagers stared coldly at Litha.

"It wasn't me who killed him." Litha's voice was stammered by them.

Hearing the words of the city guards and the villagers about to prosecute the little girl he was holding his hand, their words made Nagato angry.

"You can insult me as you please, you can accuse me as you like but if you dare to touch Litha just a little then you will face me!" Nagato removed the black-colored sword that Grandpa Hyogoro had bought from the sheath.

The house guards and the villagers gulped at the cold gaze of Nagato.

"Li-See she's a killer!" one of the guards pointed at Nagato and looked at him sharply.

Before Nagato ran and was about to kill everyone in front of him, a man used a smoke bomb to distract the people who were chasing Nagato and Litha.

Nagato was surprised that someone was holding his hand.

"Wait, who are you?" Nagato was about to let go of his hand but the man gripped Nagato's hand even stronger.

"You two follow me! The housekeeper and the villagers are innocent, all of this has been planned by Amaga!" The man pulled Nagato and Litha's hands away from the forest.

They ran and reached a forest there was a cave that was quite large and deep.
