Nagato Kagutsuchi: The Dawn
Ch. 18 - Third Meeting of Clans from the North
Nagato walked leisurely into the inn followed by Azai, Kuina and Serlin from behind. All eyes were on the handsome and cold face of Nagato and even some warriors thought that Nagato was a royal prince's son.
Some of the warriors in the middle room started talking about Nagato who looked like he was being closely escorted by the three people behind him even the female swordsman from the Fuyumi Clan who was famous for his arrogance was withered after seeing Nagato's cold gaze which makes their bodies melt.
Seeing Nagato had entered the inn, Shugo approached him making all the warriors in the room surprised then Shugo invited Azai to go to the meeting room even though they had not even rested.
Haru leads Nagato with Kuina and Serlin to a special room belonging to Our Nobles.
In a large room there is Chiaki, Chaika and Litha playing, accompanied by warriors from the Kitakaze Clan. The room also saw three little girls from the Fuyumi Clan who were watching Chiaki and Chaika's behavior who looked adorable because of differences in nature.
Haru explains to Nagato, Kuina and Serlin to wait in this room for a while because there is a meeting of the three great clans from the north so that Haru can not provide food to them or welcome their arrival.
Nagato only smiled as Haru squeezed her hair after a while Serlin asked Haru where the bathroom was in the inn because the girl wanted to take a bath to clean her body.
"Behind is a warm bath. I'm sorry to you guys because I can't give you dinner because the hostesses are busy." Haru smiled kindly at Kuina and Serlin.
"It's okay, we should thank Aunt Haru!" Kuina returned Haru's smile while glancing at the two twin girls from the Fuyumi Clan who were similar to Haru's two children. The girl asked if this was a coincidence because in the last few days of the trip they always met with something unexpected.
Serlin glanced at the two twin girls from the Fuyumi Clan then the girl whispered in Kuina's ear.
"They're really cute, I didn't expect to see four twins in my life!" Serlin muttered softly while looking at Tika and Hika.
Nagato then entered the room his eyes looked at Litha who looked troubled. When Chiaki and Chaika approached him, Nagato only smiled faintly as he walked slowly closer to Litha.
The two twin girls from the Fuyumi Clan looked at Nagato who looked cute and cold.
"He's so handsome, Hika!" Tika smiled looking at Nagato who did not glance at her at all.
"Yes she's cool Tika!" sahut Hika while looking at Nagato.
While Iris did not care about Nagato's arrival even the girl did not pay attention to Nagato.
Nagato only smiled faintly at the chattering of the two twin girls in front of him, looking at the silent and restless Litha, Nagato greeted the little girl.
"Litha, what's wrong with you?" Nagato touched Litha's fine hair, breaking the daydream of the little girl who was staring out the window.
"Hm." Litha muttered then the little girl shook her head.
Then Nagato leaned against the wall while closing his eyes enjoying the awkward atmosphere in this room. Not long after Serlin came whispering while biting Nagato's ear.
"Nagato, I'm going to take a shower first and you don't do anything strange to the women around you!" serlin whispered in a voice deliberately spoiled because the girl wanted to see Nagato's reaction when teased by women.
Nagato turned his face away from Serlin because the girl was teasing him. Kuina just stood beside Nagato watching Serlin's behavior then she saw the swordsman from the Fuyumi Clan.
"Annu .. Nagato .. is your sword valuable enough to you?" Chaika stared at Nagato's sword that was sheathed in the black-colored sword sheath that was on her waist.
"Yes, this sword is precious to me!" Nagato moved away from Serlin then looked at Chaika who asked him. Chaika did not ask any further because the little girl felt that she had asked something that she should not have asked.
Iris who was staring at the window, the little girl found Nagato leaning against the wall beside the window.
Nagato glanced at Iris who was looking at him the part of him could see that Iris had the same gaze as him.
"Eye eyes?" inner Iris looked at Nagato's cold gaze which was staring at her.
"When is that girl?" nagato Inner looked at the eyes of Iris who was looking at her then she turned her face sideways.
On the other hand, in the meeting room of the three clans from the north, the Fuyumi Clan, the Kitakaze Clan, and the Misuzawa Clan. Shugo and Hari lead Grandpa Hyogoro and Azai into the room.
Seen there were some highly capable warriors and higher-ups from the three clans.
"Mr Shugo and Miss Haru, please sit down." A man who looks to be in his fifties, he looks dignified sitting in the middle of the room welcoming the Head of the Family of Our Nobles.
"Grandpa Hyogoro and Azai please sit down ...?" Shugo invited the two who had saved him to sit beside him, all the people from the Kitakaze Clan in the room looked at the two of them and felt that Grandpa Hyogoro and Azai were his strength far below them, but in contrast to Shirayuki and the Vice-Leader of the Misuzawa Clan they both felt that Grandpa Hyogoro's and Azai's strength had abilities and was not something to be underestimated.
Then Azai looked at the Vice-Leader of the Kitakaze Clan, not liking the man's attitude too much for ignoring the arrival of Grandpa Hyogoro and himself.
"Allow me to preside over this meeting!" Vice-Leader of the Kitakaze Clan named Kitakaze Reto presided over the meeting.
Kitakaze Reto is accompanied by her Clan Elder Kitakaze Miake who is in her thirties, Miake just shut up and listen to Reto's words.
In the room, Shirayuki, accompanied by her two personal bodyguards Fuyumi Ichiba and Fuyumi Oichi, Shirayuki, the Snow White, is indifferent to Reto, but the middle-aged man did not rebuke him for knowing the power of the Snow White.
"Can we speed up this meeting?" Vice Clan Leader Misuzawa began speaking to women who looked to be in their forties, she got the nickname Flower Scarf, the woman was named Misuzawa Hana and was the mother of Misuzawa Matsuri, Matsuri is a female disciple of Pandu who now serves as the Imperial General.
Reto coughed softly as she felt disrespected by Hana, the middle-aged man stared intently at Grandpa Hyogoro and Azai. Hana was accompanied by her two best warriors who were beside her.
"Look, as you know, we have news that the Demon Worshiping Sect has made a move and they have grounded the charred city of Roshima, the news has spread rapidly, sehi-" unfinished he spoke the words Reto cut by Shugo.
"I'm sorry, I haven't introduced these two people who have saved my life, this incredible Swordsman named Elders Grandpa Hyogoro and Young Swordsman Azai!" Shugo suddenly cuts off Reto's conversation.
"These two great warriors, have saved the lives of our Nobles family and I see with my own eyes that these two warriors managed to finish off the entire Black Wolf raiding group!" Shugo added.
Everyone in the room looked at Grandpa Hyogoro and Azai, but the two people did not feel disturbed by the gaze of the person staring at them even Reto took out her nurse to detect the strength that the two swordsmen in question Shugo had.
"They seem ordinary!" mummy Reto slow.
"Don't look at someone from the outside, Senior Reto!" Shirayuki smiled faintly as she looked at Reto.
Reto's face looks so angry and embarrassed because it has been underestimated by Shirayuki while Grandpa Hyogoro who was silent from earlier began to emit a little strength making people around her feel a little depressed with the hot air around Grandpa Hyogoros.
"If neither of us are needed here then we will leave this room, after all I already have a duty to protect a Prince!" Grandfather Hyogoro was a little furious, as he had been underestimated for three times so he was a little angry. Hyogoro's grandfather deliberately lured them all away with his words.
"Sorry Grandpa Hyogoro, because we have not made Grandpa comfortable!" shugo said with a smile to Grandpa Hyogoro.
Reto is surprised by Shugo who really respects Grandpa Hyogoro, while Shirayuki and Hana stare at Grandpa Hyogoro because of his words just now.
"It's not Mr. Shugo's fault, however I have to protect Young Master Nagato!" Hyogoro's grandfather tried to keep provoking the reactions of people in the meeting room.
"Grandfather, what do you mean?" Azai frowned and looked hard at Grandpa Hyogoro because he seemed to want to reveal Nagato's identity.
"Azai, you also know that Nagato came from Ryushima, right?" grandpa Hyogoro whispered quietly to Azai he made up a story made by Kuina.
Azai nodded slowly because he knew what Grandpa Hyogoro meant. Azai smiled softly then he told her about Ryushima island to the others.
"We came from Ryushima, because our residence has been burned by a group of terrible criminals." Azai told the others but his words made some people suspicious of him.
Hyogoro's grandfather laughed at Azai's words and even he had forgotten his original plan to see if there were eyes from the western warrior camp in this meeting room.
Shirayuki stared intently at Grandpa Hyogoro who was laughing and looked like she was hiding something.
"Grandfather, what did you mean earlier said a prince? Explain it to me!" Shirayuki stared coldly at Grandpa Hyogoro making her beautiful face look sadistic.
"Sorry .. Forget what I said?" Grandpa Hyogoro smiled faintly looking at Shirayuki's cold gaze.
"It looks like you two are hiding something from us?" Shirayuki wanted to dig up information from Grandpa Hyogoro.
"Sorry ... Miss ... forget what I said?" Hyogoro's grandfather turned his face away because if he looked at Shirayuki then tonight's talk was never finished.
"All right! If this grandfather won't answer, then I will ask you young man? You said you were from Ryushima? Hasn't the island been ruled by the Rakuza Empire? Then what makes you in Kai Empire, explain all that to me!" Shirayuki smiled sinisterly looking at Azai.
But Azai only went silent to swallow because he did not expect to be mispronounced when explaining about Ryushima island that made Shirayuki suspicious of him. Then Shirayuki let out a little of her inner power which made the surroundings turn cold and even snowflakes appeared around the meeting room.
Azai was cold because of Shirayuki's strength, she looked at the woman and gulped at her beauty but the cold gaze from Shirayuki made her lower her head.
"It's all because I got hooked on Grandpa Hyogoro's words!" inner Azai cussed inwardly looking at Grandpa Hyogoro who was having a small laugh looking at him.
Everyone looked at Azai with a sharp gaze, making the young man become distracted and uncomfortable in the room and making Azai want to immediately run out of the room.
Shugo who saw Azai began to be uncomfortable with the gaze that led towards the young man beside him, thus making himself sigh long intending to melt the atmosphere.
"I heard that Prince Nagato was the son of the King and they were both hiding his identity." Shugo made up the story, then everyone looked at him.
Azai looked at Shugo in the look in his eyes he was really grateful that Shugo had saved him from an unpleasant situation.
Shirayuki covered her mouth with a fan and stared intently at Shugo and Azai.
"King? Prince? Doesn't this look like a coincidence? Is that prince you guys are protecting a prince from the Azbec Kingdom? I'm being suspicious!" Shirayuki looked at Azai intently and smiled sinisterly as she managed to corner Azai.
"From what I heard that the Kingdom has fallen into the hands of a criminal named Kazan?" Shirayuki added.
Azai started to look so annoyed, he almost stood up and scolded Shirayuki yet a girl of his age patted Shirayuki on the shoulder.
"Daughter Lord Shirayuki, you better not ask that further, because everyone also has something to hide, and there are some questions that should not be asked, isn't it the Princess who taught me those words!" A girl named Fuyumi Oichi cuts Shirayuki's question, she is his bodyguard and at the same time his student.
"Ehem .. I didn't expect Oichi to speak up, well I won't ask any further!" Shirayuki coughed softly then smiled at Azai.
Slowly the cold started to dissipate and the snowflakes also started to fade one by one.
"Sorry ..young swordsman!" shirayuki said to Azai.
Azai just tried to smile even though it was all forced.
Oichi chuckles at Azai's forced smile, the girl looks at Azai with a different look.
"Thank God, that girl saved me!" inner Azai while smiling towards Oichi.
Then the deputy leader of the Misuzawa Clan who had been silent told Reto to lead the meeting again.
