Ch. 23 - South Gate
Hana's eyes widened when she saw something that happened before her eyes that she did not expect to see something that she thought was really vile and cruel because the Demon Worship Sect was doing this kind of experiment.
"Now I really believe the words, Senior Hyogoro!" hana said with a faint smile looking at the hundreds of savage humans who were roaring in front of the gates of Yasai City.
"Yes, now that I believe it, even seeing this makes the fur all over my body stand up!" sahut Reto stared at the hundreds of humans who turned into big and tall.
"Elder Hana, did they drink holy water?" ask Tsubomi to Hana.
"Holy water is rare in this world and is rarely found even if we do not match the power in the holy water then the power in it will reject us, if we insist on drinking it then the one who drinks the holy water will die of incompatibility!" hana replied as she continued to stare intently at the ferocious man who kept shouting in front of her.

In the central plaza of Yasai City the residents were frightened by the sound of an explosion and roar that sounded so terrible to them.
In the streets of Yasai City, Nagato's group was heading towards the central plaza of Yasai City, they also heard the sound and roar.
Nagato slowed his pace so he walked backwards to keep an eye on the surroundings.
"Nagato, don't slow down!" reprimanding Kuina while looking back.
"Kuina, it seems like this voice is the same as back then!" Nagato calmly looked at the night sky which made him feel uneasy.
"Yes, we must hurry to the center of the city where the residents are and we will protect the residents there!" Kuina felt that the number of savage humans attacking the city numbered in the hundreds as it sounded from her roar that was so echoing.
"Serlin did you realize it?" Kuina stood beside Serlin who was closing her eyes.
Serlin nodded slowly while trying to sense the air of a savage human existence.

Iris who was running beside the two of them just listened to him while staring intently at the southern direction where the savage humans were.

When they almost reached the central square of Yasai City, the, the city guards ran towards the south with quick steps the city guards rushed towards the rumbling sound that sounded like an explosion at the south gate.

Shouted Shirayuki who was running towards the south gate, the woman who earned the nickname Snow White looked like she was floating in front of Nagato and the others when Shirayuki passed them snowflakes fell around her and the cold hit their skin.
Nagato stopped and before long was seen Grandpa Hyogoro with Azai running through the roof of the Yasai City building, the two of them also rushed towards the south gate.
"Kuina, Serlin, don't you two intend to go with Grandpa Hyo and Azai?!" nagato asked calmly as she looked at Grandpa Hyogoro and Azai who were getting further away from her sight.
"No need, we'd better be on guard at the town square, somehow my premonition says that!" kuina replied while looking at Nagato.
