Ch. 9 - Black Wolf And Cucumber Village
Black Wolf robbers group is holding some villagers hostage in the middle of the village road there seen many village men who were captured Black Wolf robbers indiscriminately catch the man who lives in the village of Timun from the young to old they catch all.
"Quick! Bring all the men in this village here!" A man carrying a large sword was drinking wine and staring at some of the boys from the village who were being held hostage.
Some villagers were crying and begging the wolf robbers who were carrying their boys.
"Punish my son, please! Don't take my son!" a middle-aged mother cries pleading as she has a son brought by a member of the Black Wolf.
Then the man who was drinking wine shouted loudly so that all the men who were hiding in this village came out because their children and wives would be a threat. Hearing the warnings one by one men came out of his house because they saw their children or wives being held hostage.
"Mr Amasa, it seems like this is all." one of the men approached the man who was drinking wine named Amasa.
Amasa then counted the male population in front of him.
"Ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty .. hmm I did not expect that the number of men in Cucumber Village was quite large, these sixty people were a considerable number yet with those rancid brats!" Amasa smiled faintly as he licked his lips looking at the young boy. Then Amasa told his subordinates to follow the male population with chains.
"Master don't take me, I beg you because I still have a wife and a child!" A middle-aged man pleaded, but he was kicked by one of Amasa's men.
Amasa told his men to plunder and do as they pleased, most of Amasa's men wanted to have fun with the women in Timun Village.
When they wanted to plunder the village, a Grandfather appeared and stared intently at the Black Wolf members led by Amasa.
"Enough, until there I won't let you all act as you like any more than this!" Hyogoro's grandfather appeared in the middle of the Black Wolf robbers.
"Who is this Grandpa, he intends to fight us is he joking?" One of the Black Wolf members taunted Grandpa Hyogoro.
"This grandfather we set an example, so that no one would dare to fight us?" A high-ranking robber in the Black Wolf Group exclaimed loudly to the surrounding members.
Azai and Kuina quickly stepped on their feet they both saw Grandpa Hyogoro being ganged up but Grandpa was not pressed to actually make his opponent think twice to attack him.
"It is better that you advance simultaneously otherwise it will be troublesome!" Hyogoro's grandfather said to the Black Wolf's raiding party in front of him.
"Who's grandfather, he's no ordinary man?"
"We intimidate him, but like us who are intimidated"
The members of the Black Wolf hesitated a little to attack Grandpa Hyogoro, a man came forward and told his subordinates not to be losers as they were unable to deal with a single person before them.
"Grandfather, they look like robbers?" Azai came and stood beside Grandpa Hyogoro, while Kuina observed the Black Wolf robbers.
"Nagato, don't you fight them alone?" Serlin looked worried, but Nagato looked so calm and did not look afraid or feel anything.
"If the Group of Robbers attacked, I want you to hide somewhere." Serlin worried about Nagato then the girl looked at Nagato.
"Hmm .. okay." Nagato did not want to make the girl worried, then they saw the robbers were holding some male citizens hostage in Timun Village.
"Why do they look like they're just holding men hostage from my age to old geezer! Something's wrong here!" Nagato furrowed his forehead staring intently at the dozens of Black Wolf tamers.
Serlin cast her magic spell then she extended her hand to Nagato.
"Nagato, your hand .." Serlin extended his hand towards Nagato, and the young man clasped Serlin's hand.
"Clean." Serlin took a breath while looking at the safe place around the villagers.
"Fairy Speed."
Serlin sped up his steps, and hid Nagato among the villagers who were watching from the outskirts of the house, then he quickly got beside the three of them who were dealing with the robbers. Fairy Speed is a style that allows users to increase strength while running.
Amasa advanced against Grandpa Hyogoro confidently he smiled sinisterly looking at Grandpa Hyogoro who was silent but to him it was a sign that Grandpa Hyogoro was frightened to see him.
"My gun? Oh yeah, my gun seems to be left in my house!" grandpa Hyogoro's little finger cleaned his right ear then he blew it, seeing that Amasa became angry.
"Don't underestimate me, Old Bangka!" amasa's shout loudly made the villagers close their eyes in fear.
"Don't be lured away by a boy!" Hyogoro's grandfather also yelled and then stepped on his feet quickly and hit Amasa's stomach hard.
Kuina smiled faintly at Grandpa Hyogoro then she also intended to finish off the robbers in front of her.
"They're overconfident in their abilities!" muttered Kuina, then the girl advanced against the members of the Black Wolf.
"Clean." Kuina processed her breathing while closing her eyes feeling the rapid heartbeat of dozens of robbers.
"The Scent of Jasmine Flowers!"
Kuina used the breathing that her teacher taught her and combined with her sword stance, her swordplay looked beautiful, making the Black Wolf members who were attacked by her peck for a moment.
While Azai who was fighting against dozens of robbers himself calmly fended off every slash of the robbers' swords.
"Clean." Azai processed his breathing while fending off every slash of the robber sword then he charged forward to counterattack.
"Tiger Awaits : Predator of Life!"
Azai's swordplay makes some members of the Black Wolf become shrunken in guts, they intend to make the female population become hostages.
Nagato who was looking at the fight in front of him looked annoyed to see the robbers who were fighting against Azai.
"Loser." Nagato was visibly annoyed at the sight of some Black Wolf members who wanted to hold women hostage, himself staring intently at some of the Black Wolf members Azai was fighting and he stepped forward quickly.
"This boy, since when?!" one of the robbers who was about to take the villagers as hostages was shocked by Nagato's presence.
Nagato hit his opponent's weak point, some robbers did not have time to react when Nagato advanced to attack him not using his sword but hit the opponent's weak point - his opponents some of them suffered broken bones, the five-year-old used a lock and a slam to his opponent.
"Your breathing is leaking, uncle?!" Nagato stared at the robber who was hit with his heart, the robber looked angry because he was underestimated by the young man in front of him he was about to slash Nagato, but easily the slash was deflected and avoided Nagato.
Nagato kicked the robber's leg down, the robber groaned in pain, some of them asked why the young man did not kill them but left them badly injured and let them go.
"Master Amasa we can't possibly win against them!" one of his subordinates came to him and Amasa looked around him, all his subordinates were finished off by Grandpa Hyogoro and the others. Amasa intended to take Nagato hostage but his actions were known to Hyogoro's grandfather.
"This grandfather!" Amasa held back Grandpa Hyogoro's punch with his sword.
"Sat Heaven!" Grandpa Hyogoro hit Amasa's sword until it broke in half, looking so panicked that there was no hope of winning against Grandpa in front of him.
"Tell me who told you?!" Hyogoro's grandfather looks emotional, he breaks Amasa's hand until the man groans in pain.
Amasa who saw the look on Grandpa Hyogoro's face intended to tell a yanf to tell his group to commit a robbery.
"Someone who is a high position in Kekaisara" arrived - suddenly Amasa's tongue dropped out in an instant when intending to say the name. Hyogoro's grandfather was surprised and his eyes were fixed on the piece of tongue with a black skull.
"What the fuck is this?!" Hyogoro's grandfather frowned, there seemed to be something he didn't know. Then Nagato and the others approached Grandpa Hyogoro and saw Amasa's broken tongue.
Nagato looked at Amasa who was lying dead under him but his eyes were also fixed on Amasa's tongue which had a black skull symbol.
Nagato smiled faintly because he heard a little talk between Grandpa Hyogoro and Amasa and he was quite sure that many higher-ups in the Kai Empire were aware of the bloody night incident of the Kagutsuchi Clan.
Villagers work together to bury the corpse of robbers out of the village assisted Azai dani others. Fortunately, there were no casualties on the side of the residents of Timun Village.
