Nagato Kagutsuchi: The Dawn

Nagato Kagutsuchi: The Dawn
Ch. 89 - 14 DAYS

Day after day had passed, and the two of them had been meditating for 14 days, not eating and not drinking. Their bodies were covered in a thin warm aura like smoke, only Nagato's aura was different, because his body contained a fire that burned his body.

Meditating for 14 days made their bodies feel lighter, Litha felt that her mind was so calm and her heart felt so cool.

Litha opened her eyes slowly, her eyes fixed on the figure of Nagato sitting cross-legged before her.

"Nagato.." said Litha softly because she saw the fire that burned Nagato's stomach. Out of concern Litha was about to wake Nagato who was still closing his eyes.

Litha's hand was about to pat Nagato on the shoulder, but her hand was held by the young man she was about to pat.

"I'm awake" said Nagato looking at Litha's face full of meaning.

Every time he saw Litha, Nagato always rubbed her fine hair, then he invited Litha to come out of the Heart Cave.

Litha puffed her cheeks as every hand of Nagato stroked her hair, she always noticed the flat expression of Nagato's face.

Nagato glanced at Litha as he was curious whether the little girl beside him also felt hatred in his subconscious. Seeing Litha who was always smiling and supporting herself, made Nagato become curious about Litha's true feelings.

A bright light flashed, blinding the eyes of the two of them when they reached the outside of the cave. Outside, Grandpa Hyogoro was drinking wine waiting for the two of them.

Grandfather Hyogoro smiled seeing the two disciples come out from inside the cave. Then he threw two bags containing hundreds of coins given to Litha and Nagato.

"Nagato, grandfather used half your money to buy wine" explained Grandpa Hyogoro while drinking wine back.

Nagato only let out a long sigh, then he walked back to the middle of the Cakrawyuha Forest with Grandpa Hyogoro and Litha.

Arriving at home in the middle of the forest, there was already food made by Grandpa Hyogoro. Although hungry but Nagato and Litha prefer to shower clean themselves first. Because food will be more delicious when our bodies are clean and have a bath.

Hyogoro's grandfather sat in front of his house while making a bonfire and burning deer meat accompanied by two wine drums beside him, coupled with the atmosphere of the middle of the forest that was cool because of the sound of birds singing.

"Damn! I didn't expect a serial child he could be a traitor!" muttered Grandpa Hyogoro drank his wine, several times he shook his head in disbelief at the traitorous figure who told the location of the Cakrawyuha Forest to the Demon Worshiping Sect.

Nagato who had finished bathing and eating, walked over to Grandpa Hyogoro who looked sad.

"Grandfather Hyo, why do you always give your money to the poor in Me?" nagato asked who had burned the venison in the campfire.

Hyogoro's grandfather raised his eyebrows to see Nagato asking him, he smiled bitterly, as he was also among the people born in the Me region of the Ancient Ruins City.

"Your grandfather was an old dreamer, grandfather once wanted to leave this continent. Because you want to adventure to be a criminal or whatever, the important thing is that you can get away from this boring and empty place." explained Grandpa Hyogoro drinking his wine back," 13 years ago, 13 years ago, grandfather was about to leave this continent with a person named Hiryuu. But when our journey reached the north, grandfather came back because he heard about the bloody night incident that caused the Kagutsuchi Clan to perish.

"Yes." reply Nagato briefly.

"You know one of the five rulers named Bhishma. Grandpa wants to be like him dreaming of making a place of peace and without discrimination." Grandpa Hyogoro smiled for a while, before drinking his wine back.

Nagato was shocked to hear the names of Hiryuu and Bhishma, as he learned of these two villains' names from the newspaper that Grandpa Hyogoro had bought while in Fusha City.

"Grandfather Hyo, hearing your story makes me want to dream, it's just that." Nagato murmured softly, he was ashamed because he had no dream at all and was in his head, just how to get stronger and avenge his parents.

Hearing Nagato muttering, Grandpa Hyogoro drank his wine even now he had spent 1 barrel of wine.

"Nagato, you should never be a drunk" Grandpa Hyogoro said as he massaged his own forehead.

Nagato looked at Grandpa Hyogoro in astonishment, as he was not at all interested in such a thing.

"Run your life, one day you will find your own dreams," said Grandpa Hyogoro, "all have their turn."

Hyogoro's grandfather was lying down after giving Nagato his condolences.

Nagato held back his laughter seeing Grandpa Hyoro, but the words of his beloved teacher made him understand a little, that life is always not in accordance with what we planned.

"Grandfather Hyo, I will make the Me region a worthy place, but do not expect anything to me." muttered Nagato, then he ate the venison he burned.

The Me region was a territory that was on the border of the Ellesmere Kingdom and the Kinai Empire, although it was still included in the Kai Empire, but the Me region is considered a law-free area because the former Emperor Genki and Emperor Hizen who now do not recognize Me, became part of the Kai region.

When it was noon time, Nagato rushed to train as usual, on the other hand Litha was feeding Chibi on the porch of the house.

"Meow - Meow."

Chibi bites the fish Litha gave her, then the cat runs after Nagato, who goes into the forest carrying a sword in his hand.

Litha narrowed her eyes, her eyes fixed on Nagato's back, then she also ran after Chibi to see Nagato training.

In the forest, Litha was sitting on a flat rock accompanied by Chibi, while Nagato was practicing swinging his sword and training the speed of his footsteps.

"Nagato always practiced alone. After we got home from training, he would start practicing the sword alone again." muttered Litha recalling the past few months, Nagato always repeated and reviewed whatever Grandpa Hyogoro had just taught, since he was not easy to memorize there was no other option for him to try to recall, so that his body could move according to his instincts.
