Ch. 15 - Head of Our Noble Family

Hyogoro's grandfather buries the corpses of the warriors guarding our Nobles Family and the Black Wolf robbers with Azai, who is, while the body of Kurowata after death like yawning and disappearing without a trace as if his body was shattered into pieces.

After they finished burying the corpses of the robbers and the swordsman who protected Our Nobles, they both invited others to pray for the dead spirits to calm down in nature.

Grandpa Hyogoro looked at the sky that had started to cloudy, then he invited everyone to continue the journey.

"Master and Miss, if you'd like, you can come with us to continue your journey to the nearest city." Grandpa Hyogoro greeted the two married couples of our Nobles.

They only nodded slowly accepting Grandpa Hyogoro's offer because they felt it was safer to walk with Grandpa Hyogoro's entourage.

Nagato approached Grandpa Hyogoro after staring at the noble family and Litha then he suggested to Grandpa Hyogoro to rest when it was getting dark, because he saw Litha and the four members of Nobles Kita look exhausted.

Hyogoro's grandfather nodded slowly and smiled at Nagato for being able to understand the situation that people around him felt. A few hours after they walked to the nearest small town, they saw a suitable place to spend the night. Then Grandpa Hyogoro gave instructions to the others as usual.

Nagato searched for firewood accompanied by Kuina and Litha before long the two little twin girls followed Litha from behind while greeting her.

"Whose name?" asked the cheerful-looking little girl while greeting Litha.

"Litha, if you?" litha replied with a warm smile towards the girl who was the same age as her.

"My name is Kitakaze Chiaki, call me Chiaki ya Litha." The girl looks excited despite having seen the previous robbery, Chiaki has a pretty sweet face and has short, shoulder-length black hair.

"A-i .. Na-Namaku .." while the quiet little twin girl had her face flushed red with embarrassment when she wanted to say her name but her voice was stifled.

"Eh, I'm Litha greeting ya, what's your name?" Litha greeted the shy-looking little girl. The little girl looked happy when Litha asked her to speak and before long she smiled widely.

"I .. my name is Kitakaze Chaika." the little girl shook Litha's hand and smiled warmly at her. Chaika also has a pretty sweet face has short black hair straight shoulder to shoulder only she has a shy nature different from Chiaki who looks so energetic.

"Chaika? Chiaki? .. mmmm." muttered Litha softly before chuckling as she did not expect to meet the twins in her life.

"Who's that guy in front, who's he?" Chiaki asked Litha.

"Oh, he's Nagato." Litha answered her eyes looking at Nagato's back walking in front of her. Nagato heard their conversation but seemed to be unconcerned with the three of them.

"So this is what's called twins?" Nagato spoke inwardly while smiling thinly glancing at Chiaki and Chaika.

After that he collected dry wood and tree branches with Kuina and the three little girls who followed him.

"Sister, the first time I spent the night in the forest, was I not eaten by wild animals if I fell asleep later!" chaika asked while holding Chiaki's clothes. Looking at his scared-looking sister Chiaki smiled wickedly and mocked him.

"Listen Chaika, if you fall asleep later tonight, then you will be eaten by a tiger!" chiaki replied as both her hands formed tiger claws while her voice followed the tiger's voice to scare Chaika.

Nagato let out a small laugh due to the extremely distant difference in nature between Chaika and Chiaki.

"I go first, Kuina?" nagato said slowly while carrying dry wood and some tree branches and then returned. After seeing Nagato return, the three of them looked at Nagato's back which was getting further away.

"Nagato is like that he has his own way of making friends with you." Kuina tried to comfort the three of them for being ignored by Nagato.

"Sister, has Nagato never had any friends before?" Chiaki asked Kuina, then Kuina smiled warmly while taking them back then she told her that Nagato had never had any friends before so she was different from a young boy her age.

After returning, Nagato is seen changing clothes, the three little girls accidentally see Nagato's body.

"Tonight we'll eat big!" Hyogoro's grandfather laughed while carrying two deer.

"Grandfather, aren't these four chickens enough!" sahut Azai while carrying four roosters in his hand.

"That's enough for you, grandfather is hungry today!" Hyogoro's grandfather thought the distance between Roshima and the other city was close enough that he didn't expect it to be like this.

When night fell and it was getting dark, Nagato and Serlin made a bonfire, while Grandpa Hyogoro and Azai were burning meat to eat. Kuina took the water in the river with Litha, Chiaki and Chaika.

After everyone gathered Chiaki and Chaika's parents thanked those who had helped her.

"I'm sorry I haven't had time to introduce myself." The father of the two twin girls started the conversation.

They also understood, because our Nobles family also needed time to calm down after being attacked by the Black Wolf robbers, moreover, the entire bodyguard was dead.

"My name is Kitakaze Shugo, the Head of Our Noble Family and this is my wife" said the girls' father kindly and introduced himself.

"I'm Kitakaze Haru, thank you so much for saving us and letting us come along on your journey." The mother of the two girls looked elegant but she looked so exhausted because it was rare for a great noble to walk on foot like this.

"Our entourage has just returned from the Capital City, to attend the funeral service of His Highness Pandu, as you know the Kitakaze Clan is part of Our Nobles, somehow the western camp dislikes us, as you know, not to accuse because the west always looked at us with a look that looked like it hated our existence." Shugo began to tell the story at length to everyone while enjoying the meat given by Grandpa Hyogoro.

"The Chief and the Elders of the Kitakaze Clan are still in the Capital, while I am the Head of the House of Our Nobles with the family intending to return first to Mikawa City where we live, but on our way attacked by robbers!" said Shugo quietly, the look of his face looks sad making the atmosphere in front of the bonfire become sad.

His heart beat was pounding faster from hearing his father's name but he kept trying to be calm.

Shugo explains to them that Emperor Genki's condition looks so bad, he looks not so healthy after hearing Pandu and his family are gone, even Emperor Hizen also looks not so cheerful look on his face when it looks like a sick person.

"I heard that Emperor Hizen kept himself locked up in his room for a few days after hearing of his sister's death." Shugo explains the situation in the capital that he knows.

"Emperor Genki's condition looks so alarming." Shugo explained back then he also explained that the Western Fort is still debating the matter about Pandu, according to Shugo Emperor Hizen was close friends with one of the people who supported the Western Fort which is now his right hand. So that the East Fortress could not do anything, even Emperor Hizen trusted his close friend too much.

"I heard that Emperor Hizen and Prince Pandu have two close friends who have been together since childhood!" grandpa asked Hyogoro while trying to wait for a response from Shugo, even though the look on his face was calm.

"Yes I have heard it, the two friends of Emperor Hizen and Pandu have been friends since childhood with the two of them and the youngest among them is Pandu because he was five years behind the three of them, both of his friends were the first to serve as advisors to the emperor and the second he became the right-hand man of Emperor Hizen and served as Speaker of the Parliament of the Court of Kai." Shugo replied slowly.

Grandpa Hyogoro just smiled faintly staring at Nagato's reaction then he took a deep breath and threw it back away.

Morning dew fell and clutched the leaves tightly while the sun was still hiding glancing from the collection of clouds that stretched there.

"Uncle, have you heard that the son of Emperor Hizen's younger brother is still alive?!" Nagato calmly asked Shugo to make Azai, Kuina and Serlin choke from hearing it while Grandpa Hyogoro chuckled as he stroked his chin.

"Do you want to visit Emperor Hizen, Nagato?" grandpa Hyogoro's teasing like Nagato's.

"Either way, I heard the first rumors about him, it seems like this emperor will regret one day for taking too little for the government and trusting his close friend more than his own younger brother, every time I hear his name, I don't know why every cell in my body gets hot!" replied Nagato firmly staring coldly at Grandpa Hyogoro.

"But ..we must not judge a person from outside, what good are the eyes and heart if we judge a person only by using the ears!" Nagato closed his eyes meaningfully remembering the words of his mother.

Those who heard Nagato's words only fell silent and were amazed by the five-year-old, Haru looked at Nagato carefully while thinking it seemed like the young man in front of him was not from a careless family because his handsome face and calm demeanor made him a little curious about Nagato's identity.

Litha, Chiaki and Chaika were just amazed every time they saw Nagato's actions, his every action and words made the hearts of the three little girls beat fast, they still did not know the meaning of the feeling of all that.

Shugo looked at Nagato and smiled gently at the young man, he felt that Nagato reminded him of someone who was no stranger to him, yet he did not dare to ask Nagato about it.

"Uncle, will answer your question." Shugo touched Nagato's shoulder slowly.

"When I beat Kazan!" inner Nagato looked coldly at the sky he was looking at and smiled cynically.

"Yes, I hope he's alive!" Shugo replied to Nagato.

"theworld? That seems like a good thing for Grandpa! You're starting to look cheerful back Nagato!" said Grandpa Hyogoro who laughed at Nagato's words while patting his back making Nagato feel a little disturbed.

Nagato dodged Grandpa Hyogoro who patted him, then he walked leisurely beside the three little girls who kept looking at him from behind.

Seeing the three little girls who were the same age as him keep glancing at him, Nagato became a little confused then he thought for a while.

And Nagato felt that something was sticking to his face as the three little girls beside him kept glancing at him.

"Serlin, is there any dirt on my face?" nagato asked as she looked at Serlin.

"Mmmm ..no ..your face is no shit!" Serlin noticed the three girls who were interested in Nagato, the girl chuckled because Nagato was not conscious at all.

"Eh?" litha's face flushed red from hearing Nagato's words, the little girl realized that she kept glancing at Nagato. Chiaki and Chaika are also embarrassed then the two little girls hold her mother's hand.

Seeing that Haru smiled because he saw the funny behavior of his two daughters.

Not long after making their long journey up the hill, and along the view from the top of the hill it looks beautiful with evergreen forest that stretches long and looks a city that is still visible distance away.

"Finally we can sleep on a soft bed tonight." Kuina smiled broadly while stretching her body.

"Hot water bath! I'm so hot!" Serlin chimed in on Kuina's words.

Shugo smiled widely as he was finally able to rest, as for him the journey was quite tiring whereas Nagato slowed down his footsteps and walked beside Litha and the two twin girls.

Nagato looked at Chiaki and Chaika's faces, as the faces of the two of them that looked the same were new to him even occasionally Nagato narrowed his eyes at the twin girls.

"Your faces look the same, do you twins?" Nagato greeted Chiaki and Chaika.

"Eh .iya, I'm Chiaki and this is my sister Chaika, we're both twins." Chiaki smiled then walked beside Nagato.

"A-I ..eh ..." Chaika wanted to talk but the little girl looked embarrassed and she held her mother's hand tightly.

"It's almost the same name, I'm Nagato!" Nagato only smiled faintly then he walked leisurely beside the two little girls who were walking with him.

Not long after they arrived at a friendly small town, at the entrance of the city there were city guards and then they approached Grandpa Hyogoro's entourage.

Shugo shows a gold card symbolizing that he is a Royal Family, then the city guards bow their heads and allow them to enter Semara Inda City.

Shugo invites them to enter a large inn in Semara Inda City, Shugo pays for lodging costs worth ten pieces of holy gold with food and drinks that have been provided by Cemara Indah Inn.

"Seven rooms, isn't this too much Mr Shugo?" Grandpa Hyogoro spoke up.

"Hehe .. I thought they were providing some rooms but it turned out to be overkill huh?" Shugo thought the Cemara Indah Inn party provided five rooms for them to stay overnight.

"Tonight I slept with Nagato?" Serlin embraced Nagato and tried to tease the young man.

Kuina was upset with Serlin's attitude so she pulled the girl's shirt.

"Serlin tonight you're sleeping with me!" Kuina smiled faintly at Serlin.

"Mmmm, so this beautiful girl is jealous of me well I will accompany you tonight .. Ku ... cing ..sweet ..ku!" serlin whispered softly while smiling widely whispering in Kuina's ear. Kuina's face was reddish then she pinched Serlin's cheek gently.

"Nagato, you slept with the three of them, I seem to be sleeping with Grandpa Hyogoro!" Azai tried to swipe Nagato.

Nagato was silent and then he went to the bath following Grandpa Hyogoro and Shugo.

"Eh .. I .. slept with Nagato?" Litha nervously heard Nagato and Azai talk, her face flushed red and lowered her head.

"Jokingly, the three of you can sleep together in that one room!" azai said with a small laugh.

Chiaki looks upset to see Azai while Chaika still holds her mother's hand. Then they all went to the hot spring that has been specially provided by Cemara Indah Inn.
