Ch. 54 - Ezzo Continent
Two days have passed since the unexpected encounter with Hawk, Litha is awake and now the little girl is taking care of a dangerous sweet kitten despite looking very cute and adorable, even Litha has named the cute kitten Chibi the adorable little one.
Hawk was explaining to Grandpa Hyogoro and the others about the current state of the Kai Empire, that some of the Empire whose territory was adjacent to the Kai Empire had already begun to gather military forces to launch attacks on the border.
Nagato listened to Hawk's story with Azai and the others.
Before we go deeper, though, Hawk explained to them about the two underground organizations namely the Eight Fingers Organization and the Profit Organization - Night Profit which had a strong influence on the Ezzo Continent there were even rumors circulating that the group was to be the leader of the shadow of the Kinai Empire.
Hawk then explained also about the Ezzo Continent where they lived. Hawk explained that in the Ezzo Continent there were three Empires, five Kingdoms and two Countries that were divided throughout the mainland of the Ezzo Continent, each Empire and Kingdom had a different system of government, while the two countries in the Ezzo Continent, the leader of the country was elected by the people.
The Three Empires controlled most of Ezzo's landmass, while the five kingdoms and two states had much smaller territories. The three empires are the Kai Empire, the Kinai Empire, and the Empire that has the largest territory among the others, the Rakuza Empire, The Cakrawyuha Forest is located in the Kai Empire with a location that is very difficult to find and it is believed that the Cakrawyuha Forest is a very special place for the Kagutsuchi Clan so many people throughout the Ezzi mainland try to find the forest those.
"The Rakuza Empire led by the Red Demon Emperor already controlled the three kingdoms of the Ezzo Continent ... " Hawk explained in detail to Grandpa Hyogoro and others that since the emergence of Kazan five years ago made the two Empires in the Ezzo Continent began to make movements by gathering a lot of military forces by colonizing the area around them.
"These three kingdoms are the Kingdom of Ellesmere, the Kingdom of Plasa and the Kingdom of Typhon!" Hawk explains the kingdom that has been under the rule of the Rakuza Empire.
Hearing this, the Rakuza Empire also tried to control the Kai Empire and the Kinai Empire, there were even rumors circulating that the Rakuza Empire was trying to unite the entire Ezzo Continent under its name.
Hyogoro's grandfather stroked his chin while thinking about the next few years whether the Kai Empire still existed or lived a name.
"When Nagato and Litha were adults, they would see a great war going on in the land of Ezzo!" grandpa Hyogoro's inner self predicted with a delusion that danced inside his head after hearing Hawk's words.
Hawk then explained the main topic to them which was about Kazan not making any movement at all, there was even a rumor that Kazan and some of his generals went back to the Eastern Continent in other parts of the world. When Hawk recounts the deaths of Tatsugoro and Uzui, everything becomes tense and their heartbeats pounding with a melody of overwhelming anger.
Tatsugoro and Uzui died in a terrible way even one of the Hawk soldiers who sneaked into the Azbec saw Tatsugoro's death by being beheaded and Tatsugoro's head hung on a pole in the middle of the Royal capital Azbecs.
Hawk felt he had to explain everything to them, then he told them that Uzui's death was the most cruel deed he had seen with his own eyes, Uzui is locked in an iron cage guarded by Kazan and some of his generals, Kazan releases dozens of starving stray dogs into an iron cage, the body of Uzui tied with chains could not move and could only thrash when dozens of stray dogs ate his body.
Even Kazan carried the iron cage of Uzui around the city to warn all Azbec residents who saw the execution for anyone who dared to oppose it would end like this.
Azai and Kuina cried while Serlin closed her eyes, Nagato who heard the story of Hawk grabbed his own hair somehow felt part of him do not believe that Uzui died in an unworthy way and soon tears began to flow on his cheeks, Litha who heard Hawk's story became curious about Nagato's and the others' identities, only that the little girl undoes her intention to ask.
Hawk offers Azai, Kuina and Serlin to become imperial soldiers, and gives the three of them time to think carefully and calm down.
"Litha?!" Nagato wiped his tears and turned his face aside so that Litha would not see the tears flowing down his cheeks.
"What's up, Nagato?" reply Litha while trying to see Nagato's face turning away.
"You were curious about my identity then, weren't you?" Nagato looked at Litha's face.
Litha nodded softly as she swallowed her saliva as Nagato's countenance looked very serious this time.
"My name is Kagutsuchi Nagato, a son of Kagutsuchi Pandu and Sarah Von Azbec!" nagato said calmly and clearly to Litha.
Litha was shocked to hear Nagato's confession, her body shaking violently a familiar name in Kai Empire and the Azbec Magic Kingdom, nagato's voice to her was like a lightning bolt that struck her body when Litha heard Nagato's true identity.
"Please promise me one thing, that you won't reveal my true identity to anyone else!" Nagato extended his little finger at Litha.
"I promise Nagato." Litha reached out and hooked her little finger at Nagato then the little girl promised no matter what happened she would not tell anyone Nagato's true identity.
