Ch. 131 - Special Chapter END
It has been two weeks since Nagato and Dorobo returned to Ashikubi Thief Base. Litha lay weak and kept thinking about Nagato who had not returned.
"Litha, don't force yourself!" Celes told Litha to get back to rest when the little girl tried to stand out from the house.
Litha was worried about Nagato and Dorobo, in her heart Litha was very sure that Nagato and Dorobo were still alive. After arriving at Ashikubi Thief Base, the, Usup brought some male thieves to see the situation in Kakato but there were only the bodies of Green Vas who were drained of blood and no bodies found Nagato and Dorobo at all there.
With his former battleground drenched in blood, Usup only wishes Nagato and Dorobo were still alive but when given the unnatural amount of blood in the former battleground land, Usup wishes him well, Usup becomes frightened if Nagato and Dorobo have died.
"Nagato and Dorobo are alive!" litha cried hysterically as Celes held her body back to lie down.
"I understand how you feel, Litha!" Celes closed his eyes and wanted to cry because when he wanted to make sure the words of Usup, all the words of Usup were true as they were. The place where the former fight was not found Nagato and Dorobo's bodies. Celes only saw the corpse of Green Vas that was drained of blood.
"But..." Litha tried to stand up again but her body was held back by Celes again.
"We all feel it, not just you, Litha!" Celes calmed Litha down until the little girl went back to sleep quietly.
Days continued to pass as usual but at the Asbikubi Thief Headquarters everyone looked gloomy, unlike the usual those who were always burning meat and partying every night. There was no word Nagato and Dorobo made the atmosphere at Ashikubi Thief Headquarters empty.
It didn't feel like twelve months Litha was at Ashikubi Thief Base. Litha desperately wished Nagato was still alive, after recovering the little girl was always looking for the whereabouts of Nagato and Dorobo accompanied by Celes, the two of them found no clue at all about the whereabouts of Nagato and Dorobo.
Today Litha awaits the arrival of Grandpa Hyogoro to tell her everything that happened during this whole year. Litha was also waiting for the arrival of the Brush who went to observe the Asha that Black Fang had brought but the man who had the wavy hair had not returned until now.
Litha realized not only that she was worried but that all the thieves that Dorobo had left behind were worried as well, there is no news and yet the return of Dorobo and Brush has made them all become no energy to live life.
All the thieves along with Litha were sitting in the middle room of Ashikubi Thief Headquarters waiting for Grandpa Hyogoro's return. In a hollow and broken situation there was the sound of people breaking down the door, until his break in the door sounded so loud.
"Whisper!" Usup opened the door and it turns out there was one of the thieves who just returned from Kakato.
"The three of them have returned." said the thief with a stingy breath.
"Who do you mean?" tanya Usup curious.
"The two of them and Boss Hyogoro have returned!" reply to the thief with happiness.
Litha smiled after hearing the words of the thief who saw Nagato and Grandpa Hyogoro return. All the thieves along with Litha saw that there were three shadows of people coming from the direction of the forest.
"Nligato!" Litha hugged Nagato whose body was covered in bandages.
Nagato returned Litha's embrace while stroking the little girl's head, he could see Litha who looked so worried to him.
Nagato did not get a severe enough wound but Dorobo almost died if Grandpa Hyogoro did not come.
In the central room of Ashikubi Thief Headquarters, Dorobo was lying down to recover his body while Nagato was sitting next to Grandpa Hyogoro who was drinking wine.
"Nagato, can you tell us. When we left with Litha, what happened to you and the Boss?" Usup sat down next to Dorobo who was lying down.
Nagato scratched his head recalling his actions which almost made Dorobo lose his life at that moment.
After Nagato explained to them, all the Ashikubi thieves finally calmed down. Hyogoro's grandfather glanced at Nagato who was growing stronger only that he could see if Nagato was aware that many strong people would come at him sooner or later.
Dorobo glanced at the sitting Nagato, "Nagato, why didn't you run away then?" Dorobo purposely asked Nagato to hear a direct answer from the youngster.
"I don't understand, it's just that I feel, if I run away then Litha and all of you are in danger." Nagato replied calmly.
Dorobo was surprised to hear Nagato's reply even the entire Ashikubi thief cried.
"I'm afraid to run away again. I was afraid of losing someone precious to me again." Nagato added, remembering being helpless when chased by members of Disaster.
"People on Kai hate Pandu so much, in Azbec your blood ties to being a fugitive. No wonder a child inherits his father's nature." the inner Dorobo looked at Nagato who was scratching his head.
Dorobo explains to Nagato and Litha about Asha. Actually Dorobo had told Brush to follow Black Fang but until now the Brush had not returned, if no Brush heard the commotion in Kakato it could have been Nagato and Litha lost their lives.
"I'll say thank you to Kuas." Nagato told Dorobo.
To celebrate the return of Nagato and Dorobo, Ashikubi Thief Headquarters tonight held a big meal because tomorrow Nagato and Litha will go back to the Cakrawyuha Forest before staying at the Fuyumi Clan residence.
Litha made a spicy chili for Nagato, seeing Nagato eating the voracious chicken meat that had been mixed with sambal made Litha happy.
After dinner Nagato worried about Asha's situation because he had never given Asha anything at all.
"Nagato, about your friend Asha you better not think too much about it." Grandpa Hyogoro told Nagato then drank the wine back.
"What do you mean Grandpa Hyo?!" nagato slammed the plate until it broke.
"Nagato, the Asha family was the one who had killed Uzui. I do not forbid you to regard Asha as a friend but do not just play friends. If you think of Asha as your sister, you should befriend Asha with a sincere heart." Dorobo cut off seeing Nagato's emotions.
Nagato was surprised to hear Dorobo's words, many suspicious things from Asha's movements that night. It was just that Nagato had not expected it to be like this at all.
"What kind of destiny is this?" inner Nagato walked out the Ashikubi Thief Headquarters and slammed the door of the house.
"Nagato.." muttered Litha surprised to see Nagato looking so despressed. Litha herself did not think the person who had killed Uzui was Asha's older brother.
There is not much Litha knows about Uzui but when in the Cakrawyuha Forest Nagato always told me if he wanted to have an older brother then Nagato an older brother was a person like Uzui.
"Litha, leave him alone. There's not much we're doing right now, let Nagato decide for himself. Everything will be fine because Nagato is my disciple." Grandpa Hyogoro laughed softly.
Outside Ashikubi Thief Base, Nagato was sitting on a rock and contemplating everything that happened. There was a feeling of regret because he had been living with the younger brother of the one who killed Uzui but in Nagato's heart there was no feeling of resentment towards Asha.
Nagato could not accept the reality because it still felt painful considering Asha who had told him about a family. Asha is unhappy living in a family where her eyes look very rotten and Nagato can't blame Asha.
"Sorry Asha. I'm sure you'll be fine." murmured Nagato slowly at the starry night sky.
"I acknowledge your determination to eradicate evil and become a hero. If your resolve is great, I'm sure one day we'll meet again."
