Nagato Kagutsuchi: The Dawn

Nagato Kagutsuchi: The Dawn
Ch. 115 - The Mountain of Crying

One week after Otani's death, Kumori City is now transformed in an instant. Nagato released thousands of slaves locked up in a warehouse in a corner of the city, but for a week he kept thinking about Hayama's words.

Two days later, Kumori City had a new mayor. And he is one of the Minami Nobles Family. The death of Otani, made the Kai Empire a household. Because Otani employed imperial soldiers as his subordinates who helped him sell slaves.

After delivering the Noble Minami back to Chikuwa City. Hyogoro's grandfather Litha and Nagato intend to return. Hyogoro's grandfather had already made up his mind to bring Nagato and Litha to Klam Fuyumi's residence.

On the way home Nagato just kept quiet and did not ask Grandpa Hyogoro anything, whereas Litha also felt there was something strange about the work they were doing. Indeed the dirty work to kill criminals and corruptors is a good thing, but after seeing the death of Hayama and Mizuko. For some reason in Litha's heart, the two people seemed to suffer greatly and should be the one who deserved to be killed was the mastermind of all this.

"Fucking creature! Your words made me feel annoyed, because it all seemed that I was only moving in the palm of your hand." inner Nagato recalled the words Ancient Curse of the God of Death.

After passing through the hills and wilderness, the three of them decided to rest first.

Nagato wanted to be alone and practice breathing, a quiet night made him more relaxed. To win her feelings, Nagato tries to control her aura, so that she can be like Mizuko who can manipulate her body aura and innate elements into deadly weapons.

Nagato trained his breathing overnight and controlled his aura, he forgot the time and did not realize that the morning had arrived.

"It's hard enough to control it, but I'm a little more able to master it.." Nagato's inner being controls the flow of his aura.

The sunlight scattered his concentration, even his stomach felt hungry. Hyogoro's grandfather smiled faintly looking at Nagato, then he threw the meat he was burning at Nagato.

"Again forget the time." murmured Nagato staring at the morning sunlight.

After breakfast, Nagato went to the river to take a bath. Because he'd hate it the most if his body feels sultry.

Nagato washed his entire body and several times he dived to enjoy the freshness of the river water. Slowly he came out of the river and dried his body while leaning against the tree.

"What did my father do? And why does that guy know my dad?" muttered Nagato recalling Hayama's last words.

After finishing the bath, Nagato resumed his journey only that Grandpa Hyogoro took a different way home. Even Nagato and Litha were amazed by the view on the hills and mountains.

After arriving at a hill, the three of them saw a settlement on top of the Mountain. It's just that the mountain looks like removing water from the ground even the trees that grow there are also wet.

Hyogoro's grandfather explained to Nagato and Litha, if what they were both looking at was the Crying Mountain. There was a settlement, like a small town.

Hyogoro's grandfather invites Nagato and Litha to go to Weeping Mountain.

The three of them ran over and after arriving in front of the entrance of Weeping Mountain. There were dozens of female guards.

"Who are you?!" asked the female guard who looked like a swordsman and stared intently at the three people who were wearing white fox masks.

"Here is the region of Weeping Mountain, a place covered. And we swordsmen from the Weeping Mountain Pergurung, have the right to guard this place.." a man stared intently at Grandpa Hyogoro who was wearing a white fox mask.

Grandfather Hyogoro smiled from behind his white fox mask before unmasking him.

"Take me to Namida, and tell him. If Hyogoro comes to visit." said Grandpa Hyogoro while removing his white fox mask.

"Hyogoro, you say?!" sahut the man who became the guard and he pointed his sword at Grandpa Hyogoro.

Hyogoro's grandfather could understand why his name was feared, because he was a fugitive.

"Relax, I'm not here to kill or to do something that doesn't - no. I just want to stay the night." Grandpa Hyogoro tried to explain to the mountain guards Crying.

Nagato and Litha looked confused, they both did not expect anyone to know Grandpa Hyogoro's name.

"I do the work of killing because after all I need money, but the only people I kill are criminals and corruptors. And I might have been sent by someone to kill an important person in this place" Grandpa Hyogoro said with a soft laugh.

Hyogoro's grandfather didn't know if there was a problem inside the Crying Mountain. After the three of them were allowed to enter. The gazes of the residents of Weeping Mountain look like they are not familiar, because they see three strangers who come in wearing white fox masks.

Hyogoro's grandfather invites Nagato and Litha to pull over at one of the taverns they pass by. A cloudy sky began to be seen on the Weeping Mountain.

Mount Crying is a sacred place for the natives who live around Mount Crying. And the Weeping Mountain College is a college that has spawned thousands of talented warriors over hundreds of years. It's just that they are very closed, there are even rumors if in the Crying Mountain there is an ancient record as well as an inscription. So that this place besides being a difficult place to find, but also became the target of many people, especially the criminals of the Underground Organization.

After entering the diner, Nagato was a little upset because for him this was the worst welcome he had first felt. It even made him want to get out of here.

Hyogoro's grandfather ordered three warm soups and a warm drink. Grandpa Hyogoro's arrival to the Mountain of Crying, because the Mountain of Crying College is a martial arts college that is a little familiar with the Kagutsuchi Clan. It was the same with the ancestors of the Kagutsuchi Clan who guarded the ancient inscriptions and records in the Cakrawyuha Forest. The ancestor of the Weeping Mountain School, also guarded an ancient inscription and record.

Mount Crying was not like this, but an inscription carved on a large stone in the residence of the Leader of the College of Weeping Mountain, there is a writing that is displayed for future generations. And all that has really happened and befallen the Mountain of Cry, because this place is always cloudy even the land and trees always bring out water.

In the past, Mount Crying was a sunny and warm place. The sun shone brightly around the Weeping Mountain, but after the destruction of the Kagutsuchi Clan. Weeping Mountain turned into a place that was always cloudy and rainy. It has even been seen since then if the sky always grieves over the Weeping Mountain.

Drizzle always wet this place, and make the natives of Mount Cry unconscious. If their ancestors with Kagutsuchi Clan ancestors had something in common, there was even a blood tie.

The inscription on a large rock that became a warning of the residents of Mount Crying and warriors from the College of Mountain Crying. That they had let their old brothers - the people of the Kagutsuchi Clan - perish and this was a punishment from the langt given to them.

Meanwhile, a female swordsman who became the Leader of the Mountain of Crying School was reading the inscription on the stone in his residence.

One day the sun will forget its way to shine, after passing through life for thousands of years, the blazing hot flames will shrink its color. And when that happens, the world will cry for decades. For anyone who was bound by heavenly blood in the past, then surely they will be sad. But sorrow will not last forever, for there will be a person who inherits our resolve in the future, he will illuminate the world with his light.

The woman named Namida cried, every time she read the carving that became the inscription on the stone. Namida always remembered the figure of the Kagutsuchi Clan Leader named Kagutsuchi Sura.

"The fire will not go out even when the light is dim." muttered Namida looked up at the cloudy sky above the Weeping Mountain.
