Ch. 73 - City of Exiles
The three of them entered the Ancient Ruins City where there was a black-colored gate at the front door of the city while the city gate seemed to have been shattered.
Nagato and Litha glanced at their right left as many people stared intently at the two of them.
"Oi, isn't that Boss Hyogoro?"
"Boss, what brings you back here?"
"It looks like the Boss already has two more new children!"
Dozens of fierce-looking men greeted Grandpa Hyogoro and they all looked so respectful to him that they even looked happy when they saw Grandpa Hyogoro enter the Ancient Ruins City.
Hyogoro's grandfather frowned upon hearing his former subordinates greet him with a peck of annoyance he hit the dozens of thugs who came up to him.
"Don't call my name that way again! You embarrassed me in front of my two students!" Grandpa Hyogoro smiled cynically as he looked different and not as usual.
Nagato and Litha who saw this were shocked to not expect Grandpa Hoyogoro to be a former thug leader in the Ancient Ruins City.
Now the attention of dozens of thugs was on Nagato and Litha who were carrying swords on their waists.
"This boy with the face of the king's son became the Boss' disciple? Hahahaha .. You are not fit to be in this city!" one of the thugs deliberately insinuated Nagato because to them a handsome face and having the same charisma as the nobles and the royal family was the thing that made them sick because most people like that had a demon-like nature that has a human face.
Nagato did not care what they said and just kept his feet following Grandpa Hyogoro in front of him.
"Little girl here goes with uncle." One of the thugs holds Litha's hand.
Nagato glanced at the thug then looked at him coldly.
"Let go." Nagato's voice sounded like the heat of a fire burning their bodies.
"Y-Yes, damn little kids can't be joked around!" nagato's reprimanded thugs released Litha's hand and smiled faintly at Nagato.
"Hahaha ... The disciple of the Boss is indeed ferocious, don't bother him stupid!" a thug comes to rebuke his friend who accidentally holds Litha's hand to see Nagato's reaction.
Hyogoro's grandfather smiled to see Nagato who was fearless with the person he had just met even the look of his serious face was like wanting to invite people to fight.
Litha smiled looking at Nagato who was protecting her in the little girl's heart she felt happy and happy.
"Thank you Nagato." said Litha, turning her face to the side.
"Rather than thinking about it, doesn't this city look very scary because many empty buildings are uninhabited." Nagato was observing every building he passed by.
Litha clucked resentfully in her heart as Nagato seemed to be unconcerned by what she felt.
"If you think this city looks creepy." said Litha who was also looking at the building she looked at.
Now they knew the reason why the city was named the Ancient Ruins City and the forgotten city a place for thugs and outcasts.
Not long before they arrived at a building that looked like a long hallway.
"We've arrived." Grandpa Hyogoro stared at the hallway of the building.
"Seeing from any point of view this place looks so suspicious." said Nagato who was staring at the hallway of the building.
"This place must be where the bad guys are." Litha approached Nagato and stared at the hallway of the building.
Grandfather Hyogoro just smiled seeing Nagato and Litha's reaction.
"Let's go in." Hyogoro's grandfather walked into the hallway of the building followed by Nagato and Litha from behind.
"So there is a hiding place in this forgotten city." Inner Nagato who saw his right left wet because the hallway of the building looks like a large pipe leading into the ground.
"You guys just follow grandpa there's gonna be something interesting out there." Grandfather Hyogoro smiled then stepped foot into the hallway of the building deeper and deeper.
Nagato and Litha simply followed Grandpa Hyogoro's words and did not complain anymore.
