Ch. 93 - Boxing Monkey
Two days after defeating the King of the Red Scorpion Beast. Nagato intended to conquer the Cakrawyuha Forest with Litha's help and he only asked Grandpa Hyogoro to observe the two of them.
But Nagato's proposal was rejected by Hyogoro's Grandfather, because Hyogoro's Grandfather had little business going to the Western Province. So Nagato's intention to conquer the Cakrawyuha Forest was postponed.
Hyogoro's grandfather will be gone for 14 days, on his way this time he did not invite Nagato and Litha to come with him.
"It's a fox mask, for both of you." said Grandpa Hyogoro gave the fox mask he made to his two students, then Hyogoro's grandfather tells Nagato and Litha that the mask will keep them from distress. Although actually Grandpa Hyogoro just wanted to hide the identity of the two students.
The next day, Grandpa Hyogoro left the Cakrawyuha Forest. Hyogoro's grandfather told the two of them to be careful, fearing that an intruder would come back.
Nagato let out a long sigh after seeing Grandpa Hyogoro's figure not being seen anymore.
"It's boring." Nagato muttered as he walked over to look at his white fox mask.
When afternoon came, Nagato was in a push-up while Litha sat on Nagato's back while counting the number of push-ups the young man did.
"Two hundred and ninety-eight..."
"Two queens ninety-nine..."
"Three hundred." said Litha counting the number of Nagato pushups.
Litha smiled at the sweat pouring from Nagato's body.
"I want to cook first" said Litha standing up and leaving Nagato.
Nagato then trained in kicks and punches, he trained hard to become stronger dark yesterday.
Without feeling Nagato had trained physically for five more hours, he sat down while straightening his legs and relaxed himself for a moment to enjoy the afternoon scenery.
After the practice Nagato took a bath in the river close to home, where Grandpa Hyogoro used to fish.
The sun slowly set, and the night had arrived. Nagato and Litha who were just the two of them went through a long night to practice opening the aura together.
Day after day had passed, one week after Grandpa Hyogoro's departure. They both went to the twenty-ninth layer of forest where there was a tropical forest.
"What's that?" Nagato furrowed his forehead staring at the figure of the Beast that looked like a human.
"Nagato, it's an ape" said Litha pointing to the Beast Boxing Ape hanging in the distance.
Nagato glanced at Litha, in his heart he felt admiration for her. Because Litha could see the figure of the Boxing Ape from a distance.
Dozens of Boxing Apes ran over to Nagato and Litha. Both hands of the Fist Apes clenched and occasionally they hit his hands towards the air threatening Nagato and Litha.
Without waiting any longer the Boxing Ape swung his hand hitting towards Nagato and Litha.
Punching the Boxing Ape was so fast and difficult to avoid, even seeing the way the Boxing Ape struck, Nagato felt that the Boxing Ape before him was also learning martial arts from someone.
Nagato and Litha resisted the punch of the Fist Monkey with their swords both. The clash of Nagato's black sword and the punch of the Fist Monkey's hand occurred. The fight lasted for several minutes before Nagato was thrown when one of the Boxing Ape hit him hard.
"He used deep power, which is true." Nagato muttered seeing the impact of the punch of the Boxing Ape making it thrown quite far back.
On the other hand, Litha was also knocked off due to the punch of the Boxing Ape.
"Heeh. the ape can also use deep power." said Litha saw one of the Boxing Apes that attacked him.
Punch after punch was thrown at Nagato, but he managed to avoid each blow.
"Clean." Nagato's heart took a deep breath in one breath.
Nagato moved his legs swiftly while swinging his sword coated in dense flames, with a single slash he managed to cut off several hands from the dozens of Fist Apes that attacked him.
Boxing Apes looked in pain even some of them cried out in pain. Nagato closed his eyes and slashed his sword killing the Fist Monkey in an instant.
"Totally, I don't have the heart." Nagato muttered as he flicked his sword then he glanced at Litha who was fighting with dozens of Boxing Apes.
"Litha, are you a favor?" bargain Nagato with a slightly swerving tone.
"Nagato, I won't cook your favorite meal" Litha replied.
Nagato frowned, hearing Litha's words.
"Litha, don't be angry I'm just joking." joked Nagato as he approached the desperate Litha.
"Clean." Litha's heart took a deep breath in one breath.
Litha swung her sword with beautiful strides filled with art movements, she killed the Boxing Ape that was within her attack range.
"What am I angry for, hmph." Litha approached Nagato and sheathed her sword after defeating the dozens of Fist Apes that were her opponents.
Nagato smiled and was about to stroke Litha's fine hair, but on the back of his hand was a slight scratch cut from the claws of the Boxing Ape.
Litha stared intently at Nagato and put on an angry face, as the young man hid his bloody hand.
"Your hand.." firmly Litha looked at Nagato sharply.
Nagato kept his hands hidden and the temple unharmed.
"Nagato." said Litha as her hand held onto Nagato's forced hand.
Nagato let his left hand be held by Litha.
"Don't act cool and hide your wounds. You should know, I'm always watching you." said Litha, staring intently at Nagato who was silent at her words.
Nagato blushed his face looking at the face of Litha who was so close to him, then his attention was fixed on the scar on his neck that had disappeared, but it still seemed that there was a bit of a trace.
"Sorry.." murmured Nagato softly as he panted Litha's white neck.
Litha's lips quivered so she couldn't speak then she held Nagato's nose and pressed down on him.
Nagato smiled ignorantly and pinched gently the dimples of Litha.
After a few minutes they both laughed, Nagato looked at Litha and touched the rose-shaped hairpin.
"Let's go back to Nagato." invite Litha in a slightly spoiled tone and pull Nagato's hand.
Nagato was about to caress Litha's hair but she undoed her intention, then she returned with Litha to the middle of the Cakrawyuha Forest.
