BLOODY LOVE'S

BLOODY LOVE'S
Chapters 10

“From there is my mother, grandfather, grandmother, my sisters, then aunt.”

“You didn't mention the name?” jose asked astonished to hear the original introduction so it was. He followed the boy—who turned girl— earlier to his home in a slum housing area, given a towel to clean the mud from his face and given a special place near the heating furnace. They introduced themselves to each other while sipping slowly on the tea served.

“What is the name important?” reply the girl sniffled.

“Itsportant. I know what to call you.” Jose answered. “My name is Argent. Jose Argent.”

“Nolan,” says the child being spoken to. Ogah-ogahan.

“Nolan boy name,” Jose menukas. “Your real name?”

“Nolan can be for girls name and my name is indeed Nolan!”

“The name is indeed Nolan,” Nolan's mother gave a thin smile. The woman was thin, her chest flat, her clothes thin and loose, seen hanging on her body. But there was intelligence radiating in those eyeballs.

Jose was polite. "I'm sorry. Thank you for letting me take shelter in this house."

“You have to pay,” said Nolan ketus.

“For this small hut?” Jose asked innocently. He apologized with shame.

“This small hut protects you from fog!” Nolan gave a sharp shot. “Thankful!”

“Sure, forgive me. Oh yeah, about the fog. That fog always comes quickly?”

“Faster than your feet! And danger runs in the fog!” Nolan sipped a drink in his hand. His blue eyes were busy watching his two younger siblings who were debating something about the fog. “I've never seen anyone in the fog before.”

Jose caught Nolan's smile, and he felt more comfortable. It was like there was an air of acceptance, even though he knew that smile was not for him. “I'm looking for someone. What are you doing in the fog yourself?”

“Go home! I'm going home when you hit me!” Nolan spray.

Jose laughs. “Sorry about that. I've apologized so many times.”

Nolan shook his head slowly. “Who are you looking for that? Girl?”

“Laki-male. His name is Sir William Bannet,”, said Jose honestly. He noticed how the people in the little house looked at each other, like exchanging questions telepathically. They never seem to have heard that name before. "The man is tall, wearing a black coat and a black high hat, his hair a golden blonde."

“No idea, never heard.” Nolan shook.

“And I'm mired in a hole!”

“What hole exactly?” this time Nolan asked curiously. “Siang earlier I passed the bridge and there was no hole whatsoever there.”

“Ada.” Jose nodded. “I fell in there. Half times my height. Then there was the sound of people laughing and my face was thrown in the mud. Really disrespectful.”

Nolan gawked, so did everyone in the house. “Laughter?”

“Male or female?”

Nolan's question drew suspicion from Jose. He looked at the woman seriously, then asked, “Male, I guess. But I'm not too sure. Strange voice. What's up?”

Instantly the murmurs slowly filled the room, so Jose was forced to repeat the question, “What's with it? Any problems?”

“In Bjork there are often lost humans,” Nolan started. He swallowed. “Bjork means South and North. There are also stories of loss. We are sure the exact cause is the same party.”

Jose gnashing. He never knew that in Bjork south there was also something missing. Her uncle never told her about it. But it turns out there is. There were other victims and from other areas.

Jose took a breath. “Then?”

“The loss is always in the fog, and he says there is laughter in the mist,” Nolan said in horror. “Mythical laughter that sounds is always the beginning of the loss of one of us.”

“Why didn't you guys report to the police?” ask Jose quickly. “Have you guys reported?”

Nolan rolled his eyes in annoyance, fed up with Jose being so naive. “Which police care about us? Reporting will not be recorded. We're not top people like you. We can only warn each other. You have police patrols as guards, but we have fog. When the fog came down, we had to go home and lock the doors and windows tightly. We don't want to be taken away by fog.”

Jose is visiting the South for the first time, so it's a new experience for him. He nodded with interest. “So the one who threw the ground in my face was you?”

Nolan growled softly. “Nobody is playing mud here! Everyone is busy keeping their lives!”

“Then who?”

“What is important?” ketus Nolan again. “When the fog is gone I ask you to leave immediately.”

“Just relax, I'll leave without you telling me.” Jose menukas, a bit offended. He looked around the house, feeling the warmth from every corner. There's a blonde in the room, not that Nolan's brother or uncle, Jose doesn't really remember. But the blond hair reminded him of Sir William and what he wanted to do.

He should be in the Discussion Hall right now, with Dave, debating Sir William. But it was unlucky for him that Dave was late, and Sir William instead went to a world full of fog. Jose thought once again, this time more deeply.

Don't you think the one who threw me was him. He knows I'm following him and he wants to play me. That son of a bitch!

Jose remembered how the man looked at him at the party last time. Full antipathy gaze. The memory burned him in anger, and he wanted the fog to quickly leave here so he could go back across the bridge.

When the fog finally disappeared, it was late at night. Jose returns home escorted by patrol police who happen to see him walking toward the Discussion Building. Apparently Marco was not messing around with his threat earlier. His uncle actually deployed a police patrol to drag Jose home not to come home on time.

Jose was embarrassed and annoyed, but half of it was also relieved. The night was so cold, and the corners of Bjork at night sent an uncomfortable denyar.

He recalled his visit to the South.

There's something strange about that hole. Jose did not find him while checking around the bridge again when Nolan and his two brothers escorted Jose to the bridge. He had walked here and there, until Nolan was irritated, but there was no hole he found. Like a sudden collapse or someone hoards it.

As it was dark and Nolan had left him bored, Jose finally made his way back to the northern city center of Bjork. He was just about to see if there were still discussions in the Discussion Hall when two patrolmen approached him and told him to go home on Marco's orders.
