BLOODY LOVE'S

BLOODY LOVE'S
Episode 153

Renata sat on a chair in her room, elbows leaning against a table, heads propped up on hands. He struggles with his own feelings.

She has been through many difficult situations when she became the bride of the Argent Family and when she was the mistress in this house. It was not uncommon for him to see blood being spilled before his eyes.

Marco took care of the bottom of Bjork and Edgar the top of Bjork, their division was like that. But that does not mean the affairs of the two are completely separate. Renata several times found Edgar coming home with an increasingly gloomy face and eyes so empty, as if he had just returned from hell. And that's probably what happened.

To take the life of another with his own hands is a heavy burden. It was so heavy that after doing so, that person would not be able to return to his former self. When a human kills another human, he also kills one part of himself. His conscience.

Renata bit his lip, not wanting to think about what Jose would be like when he came home. But he realized it couldn't be like this. It is impossible to keep all its young in a warm nest. They are members of the Argent family. A warm nest will kill them.

The door is knocked from the outside. Renata looked surprised. He hurriedly rubbed his eyelids to make sure there were no wet tears there, smoothed his hair and clothes, then returned to his original position. This time with a more calm and confident face. "Lake in," he said.

Jose came in first, followed by Rolan.

Renata reached out, letting Jose kiss the family ring attached there and the back of his hand to say goodbye.

"I've reached Clearwater" Jose reported. "He'll come to help. I can relax."

Renata nodded. Clearwater was not only known for his cold and talkative temperament, but also because the man had his terrifyingly powerful mercenaries.

"When will Jake come back? I'm not calm leaving Mom alone here."

Renata laughed a little. He got up from his chair and rubbed both of Jose's shoulders. "Mom can take care of herself. George is here. Jake said he'd be home for dinner, which means in a minute." He turned to Rolan with a warning look.

Don't take your eyes off Jose, the request was uttered without a word.

Rolan nodded slowly, understood.

Renata took a deep breath, trying not to fuss. How can he show weakness when his son is not at all weakened?

"Whatever happens," he said slowly, "the important thing is you. Everything can be built again if you come home safely. Even if you're the only one coming home. Understood?"

Jose smiled faintly, understanding his mother's intentions. "I won't leave anyone there" he refused. "And I'll bring Uncle Marco back."

She was already not a four-year-old child running after me, Renata reminded herself sadly. "May your path be expanded."

"May Mother and this house be blessed" said Jose in reply, then peeked at Renata and turned away.

Rolan followed Jose after previously giving a short nod that meant I would take care of him.

When the room door closed, Renata shook her body back to the chair. He still did not understand exactly what was happening and what they were dealing with, but if the workers were prepared and Clearwater was called in as Greyland's replacement, then there would only be one conclusion: the: someone will die.

Jose stopped by the first runway panda on the first floor, looking at the fifty workers who had stopped talking and were now staring at him. Fifty million. Only fifty people. But Jose felt this was enough. Bringing in more people would even slow down their movements. After all, the castle contained only insignificant civilians. The fish were not there.

"We'll pick up Uncle Marco" exclaimed Jose loudly, who was greeted with an excited cry and the sound of metal clanging. They were all equipped with sword weapons and axes. Jose held up one hand, silencing them. His heart beats faster. Blood rustling.

One mistake, he thought. Just one mistake, these people could have turned their backs on me.

Jose didn't show his emotions. He lowered his hands, staring at them one by one. "You know how Higgins died in his cabin. You still remember the night we split outside, looking for intruders who were pacing between outside the house and inside the house; the intruder that left Linda and Anna still traumatized to this day. You may already know but have not yet gained clarity, so I will be honest with you tonight: we will face later the possibility that there are not humans."

Silent atmosphere. Some people looked at each other, most were still waiting for what their master wanted to say. Their hearts were beating vigorously and their blood was bubbling in the body, it was already itching to move.

"Gerald and Hans will distribute their tested protective parchment, so you won't get hurt" Jose continued. "One thing I want to emphasize is: don't kill a single human being unless you have to. You're not Vikings, you're not hired killers, let alone lowly bastards." He stopped to look at the faces of his workers one by one, then continued with great emphasis, "Each of you is an elected Argent worker, a proud member of the Argent Family! And it is only with Argent's ethics that you must move. Our goal is one: pick up Marquis Argent! Don't let anyone get in our way."

Weapons were lifted up, clanging in the air, greeted by the sounds of excited noise. The room was crowded with spirits that soared up to the ceiling, echoing all the way to the outside of the manor.

"Lumayan," whispered Rolan beside Jose, looking at the people on the first floor who were shouting their yells with a flaming spirit. "You can burn them."

"I hope it was good enough, I should have written it down first and corrected what went wrong" Jose whispered back. His smile lifted up in a touch of humor.

Krip appeared from the direction of the servant's room, approaching them. "Mr Stuart told me," he said. "About eighty people went into Bjork at the time of the festival, but no one came out anymore. Nor was it recorded at any inn in Bjork. They seem to disappear."

Jose nodded, knowing that those people were currently in the South.

"Then about Gladys' corpse," Krip continued his report while looking at the workers who had been divided into smaller groups. "His body disappeared from the morgue. And the little Lord informant came, he left this from Sergeant Gordon."

"Support Sergeant?" Jose received a folded report paper in the form of a rectangle.

"Still, Sir. He did not receive a dismissal letter, but he said he would immediately send a resignation letter."

Jose read the contents of his report, then nodded slowly. The letter contained the names of suspicious officers, who immediately entered Inspector Robert's office and spoke privately with him as soon as Jose left.

"When will you leave?" ask Krip.

Jose pulled out his pocket watch. Half six o'clock in the afternoon. "Now."
