Marco frowned. "Silly."
"Well, when it comes to religion, it is considered sacred." Rolan laughing. "They doctrines are too far from Roman Catholicism and Christianity in general, and they don't seem to want to know about it. You know there's an urban myth that missing people are actually kidnapped by occultists and made into sacrificial offerings?"
Marco shakes. "I just know now."
"I am too." Rolan was silent to listen. There was no suspicious sound. He sighed, he continued, "The symbol of infinity is the symbol of the old religion of Bjork. I don't know what the connection is, but looking at Mr. Wallace's reaction yesterday, it's possible that the necklace is one of the ritual devices."
"Crazy perverts" muttered Marco, looking bored. "So all this time we've been dealing with people like that? What does this have to do with Sir William? And what about the dried fish? What about the strange figure that was hanging around my house?"
Rolan. "I don't know if they're related. It could have been a separate case."
In fact, Rolan felt that what they were dealing with today was more than just idolatrous humans performing heretical rituals, but he did not want to say anything. It was free to tell Marco. That man won't believe it.
"I've asked Krip for information about Wallace, '" Marco said. He got up to the table, took out a large envelope containing the file and handed it to Rolan to read.
"He was never far away from the Discussion Building and the Archive Center" Rolan said, after reading the report. "But there are some people he meets regularly. What are you gonna do with these people? Hand it over to Robby?"
Marco tapped his hand on the table. He has not spoken to Inspector Robert, but begins to suspect that the man is hiding something from him. Something is strange.
"We will conduct a personal investigation" he said. "You and I."
"I think you're crazy" he said directly. He finished reading the report and returned it to Marco, who immediately threw the papers into the fireplace, leaving them devoured by the fire.
"Crazy is my nickname. People call me Crazy Argent. You remember?"
"Marc! Even with our many teams, we were shuffling to cover everything! Now you want us to do this for just the two of us? Then what's next? We get married and carry this secret to death?"
"Don't worry." Marco melengos's. "I didn't mean to get rid of Robert. It's just that, for this information, we're going to conduct an investigation without involving it."
"If you want to do something, you should come to the expert." Rolan was upset. "If it's about the investigation, wouldn't Robby be more skilled?"
Marco did not reply, only linking his hands on the table. His eyes looked like an eagle ready to prey. That gaze made Rolan realize one thing.
"Don't tell me you're suspicious of Robby?"
"Nobody can be trusted, Rolan. You better remember that too."
"Yes, yes, I know your rules. But, why? Robby's been working with you for a long time? Time just because he didn't tell you one or two things, you immediately suspected him?" Rolan grabbed back the necklace on the table and kept it in a hidden pocket in the suit. "You want everyone to be honest with you, but you never say anything to anyone. Marc, you have a lot to learn about consistency."
"Consistency?" Marco smiled. "Consistency belongs only to an idealist. To be able to live until now, what I rely on is flexibility, Rolan. Not consistency."
"I don't understand Jose, you just suddenly disappeared without news and suddenly appeared to ban me?" Maria paddles her bike slowly down the edge of the lake in Bjork. Jose walked beside him, holding a little piece of the bicycle bonnet. He happened to meet the man while trying his new bike. His servant, Susan, watches from afar.
"I'm not banning you, I'm just asking if you're going with the Sir William you worship to the festival."
Maria frowned at the choice Jose said. "Just like, you don't seem happy. You can play with that slum girl or the librarian at the Archives Center. Why can't I have a new friend?"
Jose gasped in shock. "What librarian?"
"Come on, you ate and dated her, right? You even went to the archive center because of that chick. I know, really. There was no need to hide," Maria glanced over slightly, taking one of her hands off the handlebar to fix the wide hat blown off. "You can tell me you want to get close to a girl. I won't be mad."
"No, I'm not approaching anyone," Jose sped his way up. "I'm researching something."
Maria braked her bike, letting her chiffon skirt bulge in the wind. Both of his cheeks were red from pedaling a bicycle. His blue eyeballs stared at the lake with a slightly dim twinkle. "It's been a while since we've talked like this? I think we spend more time together. You're often up in the trees, like a monkey."
Jose patted hard on Maria's bike bonnet, making the girl crumpled.
"You're talking like you're looking back decades." Jose helps Maria enforce bicycle standards over uneven terrain. They walked together under the tilia tree that Jose used to climb. "It was only a few days ago that you lifted the tip of the skirt to kick the tree."
"It felt like a long time ago" Mary said. He sat pensively by the lake, pulled out a cold blade of grass beneath him and threw it forward. "It seems like it's time we grow up and choose our own path."
"What do you mean?" Jose sat down next to Maria, feeling unsettled by the way the girl was staring. There seems to be a certain sadness there. "You've been looking weird since yesterday."
"Weird how? Are you watching me?"
"Yes, you're like .. being somewhere else." Jose said hesitantly, considering whether it was better to say what he was thinking. Mary is now far away from him. "Your face also looks paler. Are you sure it's okay?"
Maria looked over, giving a tired look. "You're right. I'm not well, anyway. Lately I've been tired easily."
"You should have said. Let's just go home now. Let me take you." Jose was already standing up and preparing to leave, but Maria pulled the edge of his sleeve.
"Sit, Jose. I feel better today. You see for yourself, I'm strong on a bike."
"You sure?"
Maria nodded, hugging her legs tightly in front of her chest. He pulled out another tuft of grass, threw it playfully. "Actually Sir William did take me for a walk, so I wanted to discuss this with you. Know it? Like before."
Jose smiled at a glance, clapping his hand against Maria's shoulder twice. "And neither will my answer change, Mary. You better not go out of the house. Know for yourself how Bjork is doing, right?"
