BLOODY LOVE'S

BLOODY LOVE'S
Chapter 39's

Nolan clutched his fishing line. He looked tense, Jose got up and looked around them tensely.

“You also heard that one just now?” nolan asked, subconsciously lowering his voice until it became more like a whisper.

Jose nodded slowly, marking with his hand to tell the girl to stay in place. Instead of doing the command, Nolan actually got up and shouted, “Who's there??”

“Hey!” snapped Jose pissed. “Why scream?”

“Why not?” reply Nolan while glaring. “For what whispers? After all the voice is close to us, it is certain that he also saw us here!”

“Not necessarily!” Jose rubbed his own two arms. He circled his gaze around, but only found the trees and grass swaying slightly from the wind. The sun was still shining hot, but the air suddenly felt cold. “You still want to fish? I think we should go home.”

“I always fish until afternoon,” Nolan menukas. “Again, why are you? It's just the sound of people laughing! It's not that there's a ghost or what appears, is it?”

Jose frowned towards the other side of the river. Going south, there are only tighter trees. The gap between the trees made the cave dark, Jose could not see, but his gaze had always been fixed to that point. Like being pulled by a magnet. “Indeed you used to hear the sound of people laughing while fishing?”

“Well, sometimes only,” Nolan said. Sometimes he hears children laughing. Children's. Usually there are some people who also fish in the river and bring children. Sometimes his sister's friends play around here.

Now it's deserted. Out of the ordinary, but at first Nolan only considered himself lucky to be able to monopolize a good fishing spot.

There is usually no laughing voice like that. The sound of laughter was so low, but it was also shrill—persis as one could tell appeared in the fog. Suddenly an uneasy feeling came upon Nolan. Back bristling.

“You scared?” Nolan turned his head up, looking at Jose who was still looking across the river. “See what the hell?”

“No. It's okay,” said Jose while shaking his head. But his eyes were still directed to the same place. “You have two fish. Let's just go back, okay?”

“Usually I get one dozen!”

“Let me buy fish from the market! We're home now!”

Actually Nolan still wants to argue, saying that he should not be bought by the rich. He hates people who force. But the firmness in Jose's tone of voice made him not eager to refute. Nolan immediately pulled the hook and cleaned the bucket and the bait can. Jose looks relieved to see him obedient.

When Nolan was rolling the fishing line, Jose immediately grabbed a bucket of fish, then groped Nolan's wrist and took him running.

“Ap-what? What's up?” asked Nolan nervously. He did not get upset because he was too shocked.

Jose did not reply, only running even faster while pulling Nolan's hand. Nolan who was not ready to be pulled instead tripped over the tendril and fell to hit the ground. A horrified feeling ambushed his entire body, rendering the girl unable to move.

Blacker. The figure was a huge black color, as if wearing a torn robe that was fluttering with the wind. His face was invisible because it was covered in a circular black skin. Both of his hands stretched forward, making movements like they were about to reach. His head was moving towards the wind, like it was sniffing. Nolan's skull is like that of dozens of insects. He was shivering and unable to move.

In that state, Nolan instead thought about his fishing rod that had just been thrown because he fell. His hand moved to reach the fishing line. The black creature stopped sniffing. The area of his face now facing Nolan, was riveted.

Caught.

That was all Nolan could think of as he crawled on the ground. The dried leaves were rustling in the silent forest. Dry branches felt sharp on his skin.

Someone pulled Nolan up, then carried him. Jose.

Nolan nodded nervously. He just didn't remember that Jose was still next to him. The man pulled him to his back, then immediately ran over quickly.

The sound of the wind sounded unfamiliar to Nolan's ears. Even this forest feels strange. The branches and branches he could not recognize. When Nolan thought they might be lost, Jose took them to a giant tree trunk that crossed the road. The man jumped up high, making Nolan gasp in shock and clutching onto Jose's shoulder.

At that moment, he realized one thing.

“My cat missed!” shocks surprised.

Jose did not stop. Not even react. He just kept running, while carrying Nolan on his back.

“My bettor missed there!” nolan exclaimed as Jose dropped him off in front of the house. The man did not want to stop running even when they were out of the forest. People were now gathering around them with mixed gazes of wonder.

“My client missed! And where's the bucket? My fish? My bait?”

Jose leaned the temple against the wooden wall of Nolan's house, panting. Both of her cheeks were red from just running. “You ... don't see what's across the river?” tanyakanya.

Nolan of course saw. He knew that the first thing he said was thank you. But when he saw that Jose's hand was empty, which meant that the fish was left behind, Nolan could not help his regret.

“Sorry yes, the bucket is in the way, so I left it there.” Jose rubbed his temples that felt throbbing. His chest was burning and his throat was dry, but the horror was still left behind.
