“But you can't just come to Argent's house!” hatch Maria.
“So, what are you talking about, anyway?” Nolan was getting upset. “Why not just direct? Why do you like to talk in circles? Do you think everyone has a whole day to guess what you really want?”
Maria gaping. He did realize that Nolan did not know the custom, but did not expect that it would be this severe. Even the girl in front of him could not be invited to mince words or hunch. He disliked Nolan and was completely astonished at what Jose wanted from the boy.
“Begini, Maria means well,” Jose tried to mediate. “He was worried you'd get bad treatment from my uncle. You've met him yesterday and know how he is, right?”
Nolan nodded. In his head again imagined a haughty old figure whose chin is always raised high when talking to others.
“Well, since Uncle Marco attaches great importance to appearance, Maria is willing to help you to at least avoid the early stages of expulsion.” Jose said, “But actually, I also won't let my guests get kicked out, kok.”
“But he still has to understand how to dress modestly!” deny Maria fast, afraid her plan will be ruined.
“I'm neat,” said Nolan offended, now realizing what the two men wanted. They want to dress it with this outfit that suits the taste of the North Bjork people. Nolan felt he would definitely be bullied by being treated as a puppet.
“You are not neat enough for uncle Marco.” size Maria smile. “Try to see me and compare yourself.”
Nolan nodded, realizing that they were both different as heaven and earth. “Alright,” he said slowly.
Nolan caught a strange smile from Maria. He hated the way the girl smiled.

Nolan felt ridiculous. She should never have accepted Miss Garnet's request; mary asked her to call like that.
Now he is inside the boutique, faced with a wide variety of clothes that are eye-catching in color, with many lace ornaments and splashy ribbons. There were two store employees accompanying them to pick and store each of the clothes that Maria appointed. The girl looked relaxed, but Nolan felt troubled.
The room was spacious, with lots of mannequins and beautiful clothes. The scent of cloth and perfume wafted between the clothes and the humans, making Nolan feel somewhat dizzy.
Maria offered her a lot of dresses, asking her to choose which material she liked.
"I prefer to be made by Anna Sui, sweet," he said while offering a top without buttons.
Nolan doesn't know who Anna Sui is. He doesn't care either. Her legs are sore and Maria always speaks in foreign terms such as linen, organdi, flannel, brucat. Nolan doesn't know what it means. He was tired, but did not move much. He did not like Mary.
The way the girl spoke in a sweet tone, the way she joked with the store employees as if she had become so used to this routine, Nolan hated her. He assures himself that his feelings come because he hates the rich, all the rich. But what he hates most is the fact that the annoying girl is close friends with Jose.
Jose was not with them. Mary asked him to wait in the other room. Nolan almost wanted to ask Jose to accompany him, but it was canceled because he did not want to look like he was whining.
Now Nolan regretted his staunch attitude. What can he do here, with a stranger he just met.
"Well, I think this one fits. What say?" Maria presented a single canal dress that was still hanging on the hanger. Sleeveless pastel color dress with little lace and sequin decoration.
"Why? Girls should wear dresses."
"Who needs it?"
"Society," Maria menukas tired.
"And why should we obey society?" reply Nolan ketus. "Why can't you be yourself?"
Maria crumpled the dress in her hand. Two employees who serve only look at each other with common codes. It wasn't every day they could see a mouth war like this. Moreover, the two are very different. One was an upper lady from the distinguished Garnet family, while the other was out of nowhere. It looks like a bum.
"Can't be," Mary said stiffly. "We live in society. We're society. Meeting existing expectations is a must ..." He fell silent, realizing for himself the awkwardness of his words.
Nolan sighed. "So so? I don't know about you guys up north here. When I first came, I felt glare. I think you guys are very happy and also lucky. It must be fun living like you. But apparently not really. What you're doing isn't 'living'. You don't even have a life. You are just moving according to the route that has been determined. Like slaves. Like an undead."
Silent.
The two women looked at each other in silence. Nolan, with eyes and a stubborn face, while Mary was still standing straight with her chin raised.
Her heart felt hot, radiating to both of her cheeks, making her beautiful face red. His blue eyeballs glinted sharply.
"May your spirit, too," Maria said calmly, holding back the emotional turmoil to shake Nolan's shoulders. "I don't know how you enjoy your rundown everyday life in the South, but every society has its own way. And if following that ordinance leaves us undead in your eyes, it doesn't matter. Who cares about the view of a bully?"
"Puppet?!" Nolan could only repeat his shock and hatred.
"You're a bitch, really. Constipation arrogant. You think you can come to Argent's house in such an inappropriate form? Who do you think you are? You demand that you be accepted as you are, but on the other hand do not want to do the opposite for the other party. When you are in Rome, act like a Roman! This is how the northern Bjork people look, like it or not."
Nolan opened and shut his mouth in a mute. Maria took it as a gesture of surrender, so she lightly patted her hand in front of the chest, then said in her usual sweet voice, "Well, uh, you can't possibly wear a beautiful dress but deciduous and kampungan, so all the care is here!"
"Huh? What treatments?" Nolan nodded in surprise.
There's no answer. The two servants immediately pulled the girl into the other room behind the glass door, ignoring Nolan who rebelled like a cat in the water.

Jose picked up the second magazine provided on the table. Actually he wants to go around the city, find out a lot of things especially news from Krip. He did give the man a lot of time, too much if now rethought by Jose. Finding out the information about Sir William Bannet should not be too long, given the gait of Krip in the world of information.
But now he is dealing with Mary, a man who is difficult to dispute or transfer. Having been friends since childhood, he and Mary knew each other without needing to say anything.
Maria looks tired and upset with Lady Lidya, so Jose decides to be the bad guy by driving Lidya away. Indeed, after that Maria launched a variety of protests and scolding, but Jose knew it was just another way for Maria to thank him.
