BLOODY LOVE'S

BLOODY LOVE'S
Chapter 53's

“Jose,” Maria say hello. “Kupikan who was.”

“Halo,” Jose smiles at women next to Maria. She recognizes the girl as Lady Lidya Jewel, Dave's girlfriend. “Good day, Lady. I'm sorry about Dave, is there any further development?”

Lidya smiled bitterly, thanked him, then shook her head. “Is Marquis Argent involved in the investigation?” tanyanya expectantly.

“Pamanku Marco is just an ordinary businessman, Lady,” said Jose diplomatically. “Investigation is usually taken care of by the police. I believe they will move quickly. Dave must have been found.”

Lidya looked down embarrassed at the reprimand and quickly left without giving Maria a chance to chase.

“Why are you saying that, anyway!?” nagged Maria annoyed.

“Says like what?” Jose asked kalem.

“At least you can try to calm him down by saying that Uncle Marco took part in the investigation! That would not hurt! We talked about this anyway!”

“You're talking about this, not us,” Jose is correcting. “And there is no agreement, you will only talk to uncle, but he himself does not give any certainty. Lady Lidya better know what she's up against. It is not good to let it continue to hope.”

“What's wrong with hope?” hatch Maria. His blue eyes flashed with anger. “Hope helps him be able to get through day after day.”

“That's false hope,” denies Jose. He himself was not relaxed in dealing with this situation. Dave was missing when they were about to meet. “Just like his family, I also really hope Dave comes back. But Lady Lidya could not continue to live in hope. His condition would deteriorate drastically if the situation did not match his expectations. Better prepare him with all the possibilities.”

Mary opened her mouth to refute, but her eyes caught the presence of others among them. A small and skinny child who ate crepes with a loud voice. Maria frowned at that irreverence.

“Who are you?” he asked, suddenly feeling uncomfortable at the presence of the child. Especially when he saw the gentle light in Jose's eyes.

The girl returned her gaze boldly.

“Ngapain name-name?” reply Nolan ketus.

“Name Nolan,” Jose quickly mediate. He turned to Nolan with a warning look, hoping that the child was not being rude. “Nolan, she's Maria Garnet, my friend.”

“Mast care!”

The reaction was expected by Jose, but not with Maria. This was the first time Maria had met such a hard and violent daughter. Even Nolan did not stop chewing while talking.

“Who is he?” Maria asks Jose, this time the question demands an answer more than just a name. He could see Jose change. There was a change in the man, something that made Mary feel distant from him. Jose was like hiding something, could it be about this boy named Nolan?

“Who ... him?” Jose glanced at Nolan in confusion. Although he introduced Nolan as a friend to Marco, it would not be acceptable to Maria. After all, he and Nolan did not really have a friendship. This unrelated relationship made it difficult for Jose to give an answer, which Maria responded with suspicion.

“Why, anyway?” Nolan spoke up. He challenged Mary with a look. The girl was fragrant and beautiful, with a silk dress fluttering softly due to the wind and both cheeks blushing rancidly. Maria is the prettiest girl Nolan has ever seen, but not the kind of person she likes. “What is your business about what is my relationship with Jose?”

“That's what the name is, right?” Jose shrugged his shoulders in wonder. Since long ago ethics was not at all interesting to him, therefore he did not mind being called directly by first name.

But the situation is actually very different in North Bjork. People should not haphazardly call the names of others by first names; especially for upper class people such as the Argent and Garnet families. A call with a small name is an expression of intimate familiarity. Even Jose's best friend always called him by his surname.

“What's your business is he I call what?” Nolan menukas not happy. He scratched the hair with origin, then grimaced widely as he added, “You are not his girlfriend.”

Jose raised both of his eyebrows high while Maria glared.

“Jose, I don't know where you found this little boy,” Maria said coldly with her sweet voice that was like the clanking of bells. “I told you, don't pick anything up haphazardly, return him to the place where you picked up!”

Replace Nolan who glared because it was talked about like a wild animal.

Jose walked to the middle of the two of them quickly, stopping the follow-up conversation that seemed ready to start. “Maria, she's my friend, okay? And, Nolan, please take care of your words.”

“What's the reason?” reply Nolan ferociously. He looked at the two people in front of him fiercely. “You have no right to tell me!”

“No, I didn't tell you. Just give me advice.” Jose has a sweet smile. “You look cooler if you are calm as usual.”

Of course it's a lie. Part “be quiet as usual” is a completely absurd thing. Nolan was almost never calm. Jose just said it to make the girl calm down. He learned how to deal with humans from observing the various kinds of people who came to his house. One of his favorite tricks is persuasion. The inducement must be waged by touching the opponent's weak point. Nolan is the type of person who likes to be praised and also full of confidence. Jose persuaded him. The girl immediately shut her mouth and pretended not to care about Maria, though her eyes sometimes glanced curiously.

Nolan can be eaten, but Mary is not. He knew the tactics that Jose did because the man often practiced with him, looking for which sentences or tones to say to women.

“What are you doing, anyway?” whispered Maria was upset when Jose managed to ‘exorcise’ Nolan by telling her to buy crepes again. “Where's he from?”

“Bjork South,” replied Jose honestly. He rarely lied to Mary. “I need his description. You alone, where did you end up?”

“Archive center, accompany Lidya,” Maria rotate eyeballs. “We were going shopping together, but thanks to you, she ran away!”

“Sorry,” Jose small smile. “What are you doing in the Archive Center?” He recalled the clipping book he had borrowed and his intention to look for Nina.

“Lidya just returned the book, I accompanied him. Now, do you want to keep switching topics or answering my questions?”

“I didn't divert anything. Have you eaten?”

“Jose! Don't stale. I know your style.” Maria blew the bangs tiredly. “What do you want to do with that little boy? She's a girl, right? Why is it stylish like a man?”
