BLOODY LOVE'S

BLOODY LOVE'S
Episode 99's

The festival is long over, but Marco hasn't returned yet. When it comes to saying that it's possible that the black ghost has changed targets and is looking for Marco, Rolan is just joking. But seeing that the man did not appear that morning, Rolan became anxious.

Edgar looked equally anxious. He and Marco had already discussed Jacob's arrival, so there was no way Marco wouldn't come to greet him. Marco never went too long without leaving a message before. Everyone knows how disciplined Marco is about that.

Even though the night had passed, the Argent family had breakfast in the atmosphere as if they were in a funeral.

Jose doesn't talk much either. He sat at the table, opposite his first brother.

Jacob was still the same as the last time Jose remembered him. His brother has the typical stature of Argent. Black hair, dark eyes, and also a calm cold face. They just shook hands and hugged each other when they first met, then Jacob spoke to Edgar again.

Jose does not remember he was ever familiar with his brother.

Jacob as the first child was actually the rightful heir of the Argent Family. He would be called Lord Argent if Edgar or Marco were gone. He will rule over all the land of Argent. But Jacob rejected the opportunity, which he considered ancient and would have no effect whatsoever. Jacob built his own trading empire outside the city, deciding not to rely on family influence. Automatically, inheritance rights in the name of Argent in Bjork in the future will be controlled by the second son who is studying abroad. However, it did not make Jacob look one eye. People respect him more and more and his way of life.

Almost everyone liked and respected Jacob.

Jose respects it too. Hugely. But still sometimes he did not feel he could fit with the nature of Jacob.

"I haven't seen Uncle Marco yet" Jacob said at breakfast. He caught the unpleasant atmosphere at breakfast, and concluded that it might be related to his uncle. "Where is Uncle? Is he not in Bjork?"

"He's on business" said Edgar. His eyes looked at Rolan with a meaningful wink. No one saw it but Jose.

"I heard, Bjork is not safe, right? I see police patrols everywhere. Why don't you just go on vacation with us? We went abroad" Jacob said, looking softly at his mother.

Renata lifted her face from the plate, then laughed softly. "And leave your father here? I can't, honey."

"Father can be invited too if you want," Jacob said casually. He jokes about the past, making Edgar and Renata laugh out loud, but Jose finishes his breakfast soon, leaving.

"Why rush?" reprimand Renata wonder. "Your brother hasn't been home in a long time, talk to me for a while. Can, right?"

"Eh, sorry, ma'am .. I have something to do," Jose said slowly. "This is a message from Uncle Marco. I was asked to do it today."

"Can't wait?" ask Renata disappointed. "Should it be now?"

"Renata," admonished Edgar stiffly. "Marco told him to, let him do it."

Renata took a breath. "And I thought, at least my sons could gather in half. Alright. Just do what you want, Jose."

"Yes, yes, I can't manage" Jose grumbled as he rolled his eyeballs.

"Do you hate that much about your sister?" From behind Jose came a ticklish voice.

"Does Uncle always have to appear from behind without a sound?" reply Jose without looking. He did not hear his uncle's footsteps. Just know that voice came. But he knew the full pitched voice of that joke. "Why did Uncle come out? Don't you want to talk to Jake?"

"And ruin the heartwarming reunion between the nuclear families? Can't, it's not my style" Rolan said. He stepped out of Jose's steps, observing the grim face with a amused look. "You're not really carrying out Marco's orders, are you? He didn't even give you any messages, did he?"

"Uncle knows, huh?" Jose smiled wryly. He walked quickly outside the house to the stables. A few servants who passed by them immediately pulled over and bowed respectfully to give way.

"Jose, I've been working with Marco for a long time. The only thing Marco will tell you to do is study."

Jose laughs. "Uncle is right, I was just trying to escape. Will Uncle keep following me to the stables?"

"I know what you want to do." Rolan groped the young man's arm, pushing him to the side. They faced each other in the middle of a sweetly arranged stone road bridging the garden that led to the stables. "You're investigating Sir William, right? Stop that."

"Uncle talk about what? I'm just riding, "Jose replied coldly.

Rolan clenched his lips tightly, realizing that Jose was acting back to pretend he didn't know. "You're not the only one who knows how to use informants, Jose. I know what you borrowed from the Archive Center."

"Of course Uncle knows," Jose said quickly, hardly caring. "I borrowed the archives."

"You're investigating a case of a dried corpse" Rolan said from between his teeth. As soon as he finished, he immediately turned his head around, making sure no one heard them.

The corridor looks empty. Faintly heard the sound of the wheelbarrow from the garden as well as the sound of conversation and laughter in the dining room. There was no one else around them. Jose looked at his uncle with pity. Rolan's brown hair was tangled, his eyes were swollen, and the clothes he was wearing were tangled. Rolan seemed to have stayed up for a month and had no time to eat or take a shower.

"Rest Uncle" said Jose. "Uncle needs that. Don't worry about me."

"Jose, don't be stubborn! This is none of your business! Stay away from this case!"

"Then, why is this Uncle's business?" reply Jose cold. He jerked Rolan's hand which blocked his wrist, then walked back to the stables.

Rolan looked at Jose's back in annoyance. Marco had warned him before, asking that he keep Jose away from Sir William. Rolan himself did not understand clearly the case they were going through. All he hopes for now is that Marco will be back soon.
