BLOODY LOVE'S

BLOODY LOVE'S
Episode 92

When it comes to Mary's rejection, what Sir William's view shows is terrible hatred. Maria sees it as a disappointment because she broke a promise, but what Jose sees is a lightning bolt that can be scorching.

"May I speak with you? Four eyes?" Sir William asked Mary, casting a hostile look at Jose who stood somewhat behind Mary.

Jose actually did not want to let go of the girl, but Maria gave him a sharp glint that asked for privacy. So, after giving a fierce gaze back meant I chopped you up if I messed with William, Jose immediately retreated further and further away.

"So" Sir William smiled awkwardly. He looked charming in his formal suit and coat. The scent of the kolonye faintly smelled from the collar of his shirt. "You broke our promise because of Argent's fourth son?"

Maria raised next to her eyebrows, catching a loud tone in that soft voice. "Listen, sir, we haven't really made any promises. No invitation card you sent me, so—"

"Don't I say it in person when I visited your house last time?"

Maria smiled regretfully. Sometimes he was surprised at the way Sir William spoke that was too formal, like the ancient people, but he thought it was only a matter of customs and regional customs. "I'm sorry, sir, but my family is very strict. No invitation letter means no appointments. And they won't let me out unless I'm with Jose."

"Jose?"

"Emc ... Jose Argent, just now," Mary said quietly, thinking Sir William did not know Jose. "The guy I was with just now."

"You call him by his first name?" Sir William gave a hurt look that made Mary's heart shake. "I mean, if you mind me taking you away, or you've already tethered yourself to someone else, please just say so. I'll be able to step back."

Tethering? Breastfeeding? Maria almost spouted laughter hearing the expression just now. It was only found in poetry books at school. He really did not expect there are still people who use the term in everyday life.

Before her laughter completely escaped, Maria immediately shook her hands. "He's been a friend since childhood. Our family was friends for a long time. So did I with Jose, let alone us for almost the rest of our lives. It's only one year."

"Oh, just friends?"

The question was uttered in such a tone that it made both of Mary's cheeks glow red. He gnashed nervously, then pushed his hair behind his ears. "That's how .. just friends."

"I am glad to hear it" Sir William said. His voice sounded soft and so relieved. He even smiled broadly. "By the way, I actually want to leave this to you later. But since I haven't trusted Mr and Mrs Garnet to take you out, I'm giving it up now."

"What's that?" mary was interested. His blue eyeballs were shining cheerfully.

William put a card on him. An invitation.

"Normally, I have to wait for a reply from you first. But I really hope you'll come tomorrow. Just an ordinary socialite party, there are some guests from out of town who visit here, and it's not nice to party without new friends from Bjork."

"Oh, I ..."

"You're coming, right?"

"You can come with Mr. Argent, if it makes Mr. Garnet let you out." Sir William stepped forward, forcing.

"Eh, I'm sorry, of course, very happy to accept this invitation and really want to attend it. I'll ask Jose to accompany me" Maria smiled. "Patrol police have recently tightened guard, so I really can't give a definite answer. I'm sorry."

"Please, don't apologize" Sir William said, covered in fireworks. For a moment, both of them were distracted and just stared at the colored sky.

The opportunity was used by Jose to sneak up and stand by Maria's side. "Now curfew. If we continue here, we will not be able to do anything without a police patrol," he said. The look on his face was witty, but his eyes were keen on Sir William.

The man stared back at Jose for just a glance, then back at Maria. "I'll wait for you there" he said, grabbing the girl's hand, then lightly tucked the back of his hand. "I'd better go before your bodyguards kick me out" he said, laughing insinuatingly at Jose.

Sir William turned around, greeted by several young men who had been waiting for him since. Maria immediately elbowed Jose's ribs, making the man complain.

"You're not very polite, anyway," the girl sighed. "Have I told you to wait there?"

"He forced you to do something, right? I'm just helping." Jose hit back at Maria's shoulder playfully, which was soon reciprocated again with a light fist in the arm.

Both laughed softly.

Mary did not want to admit, but she did feel a little saved. Something made him uncomfortable from the way Sir William was pressing just now. The man seemed to be in a hurry. Like something to hunt. That look looks a little strange after all. Like someone who is in love.

But Mary felt it was impossible. They had only met a few times, and he could not believe there was such a thing as falling in love at first sight. People should have good reason to love others. His love for Sir William himself, he realized, was not love. Just a craze when seeing someone new, like seeing a stage artist. He was entertained by admiring from afar.

"So, are you going to go down the street or just stay there?" jose asked, unceremoniously pulling Maria's arm down from the stairs of the Discussion Building, where Sir William had intercepted them both earlier.

Jose had just stopped by to find out about Dave, but instead met Sir William when he left.

"She invited me to her party" Maria said, wrapping her arm around Jose's arm.

"I knew. I saw him cram that ridiculous letter into your hand." Jose snorted, guiding Maria to bring out the human crowd on the road. "The work makes a party. The money must have spilled!"

"The party needs socialization, Jose." Maria laughed, inexplicably comforted at Jose's aggravation. "Well, you're going to accompany me there, right? He's been specifically inviting me, it's not good to be rejected."

The streets are full of people. Shoulder nudging shoulders. Hands clashing at each other. The smell of food and candy filled the street. This crowd made Jose have to exclaim a bit as he replied, "Yes, alright. Anyway, what else can I do? You must be pushy, right?"

Maria laughs. His voice was as smooth and gentle as a bell. "Good! You are the best!"

Jose glanced at it with a smile. Once pat two flies. He was planning to enter Sir William's house again. The smell of roses and blood still troubled his mind.
