Semak perdu moving in the direction of two o'clock. Run raised both of his legs high, ready for a revolt. Jose gulped. Back bristling. His heart beat so fast that his ears had trouble catching other sounds.
"Who is that?!" exclaimed Jose loudly, reigning. He looked around vigilantly. There is no white smoke. The fog has not appeared. "out! Show yourself!"
The bushes moved again, then someone slouched out of there with one leg dragged.
Jose held his breath. Blood sucked.
It's Gladys.

Susan is Mary's personal lady-in-waiting. He had been escorting the girl since Maria was fifteen years old. "So, last night Miss didn't get together with Mr Bannet?"
"No, we only had a chance to meet in the afternoon, before I cycled with Jose." Maria yawns. He fixed the location of his pillow, then closed his eyes once again. "Sometimes I find her very attractive, sometimes I get scared. I don't really understand. And Jose didn't really like him .. to Sir William, I mean."
Maria ended her story with another swab.
"Miss is okay?" Susan looked at Maria with concern. The girl's face was pale, her lips and cheeks lost their red hue. He pushed the apple juice in front of Mary.
The girl shook her head, pushing the proffered glass away from her mouth. "I feel nauseous, Sue. I feel like vomiting. Let me just sleep, okay?"
"I'll call the doctor," Susan decided, but Maria groped her maid's apron.
"It's okay, maybe because I want to come to the moon, my body feels bad. It'll be okay, okay."
"Ah, who said? Don't be like that, Miss! Better check now before anything! I'm anxious. Miss may not realize it, but Miss's condition is getting worse."
"Geez, it's okay, Sue. Yesterday I was like this too, but the sore was fine. Lately, every morning I feel sick."
Susan frowned. He put a mercury thermometer on Mary's armpit, and waited patiently while tidying up the ends of the messy sheets. "Maybe Miss ate wrong? What did you eat last night?"
"Just cotton candy, really. Jose bought it," Maria said. He smiled a little considering how he and Jose could finally have a close conversation again. He had felt that something was different from the two of them, something had changed, but he could not fully understand where the change lay. He thought it was because of the arrival of a slum girl named Nolan, who still did not want to understand the status gap between south and north Bjork. But now he began to feel that it was not the boy who made the difference. Nor is it the issue of maturity or the bad reasons expressed to Jose yesterday.
He himself felt different. It is like looking at the world with a slightly different view, like changing glasses. But Mary again did not understand where the difference lay. He felt that something was missing from him, but at the same time something was complementing him.
Susan finished her gowns and clothes scattered on the floor, the rest of Mary's preparation yesterday. "So," said the lady politely, "There's a special occasion for today, Miss? Miss going somewhere?"
Maria rubbed her sore eyes. "I was going to visit Jose. He promised to accompany me to Sir William's party tonight. But I don't know. I don't know if I'm strong anymore." He drowned himself under the blanket. "Close the window dong, glare no."
"The curtain hasn't even opened yet, Miss," Susan said in surprise. He took back the thermometer, seeing that Maria's body temperature was in normal measure.
"Masa, anyway? Glare nih. Add another layer, my eyes tired of seeing the sun. I'll be better in the afternoon." Mary astonished herself to hear the last sentence she uttered, but she was sure of it. "Later in the afternoon I'll be better. Sure."
"Sue ...," Maria whines. "I hate doctors, hate syringes, hate drugs. Don't call, yaaa?"
Susan took a breath. He stroked the soft hair of Mary. "Alright, but if you don't want to eat in the afternoon, I'll call the doctor. No matter if Miss whines."
"You are cruel to the sick," Mary sulked.
"If it hurts, I call the doctor," Susan said quickly, finding a gap. He arranged the glasses and dinner plates on the nightstand beside the bed. "The food I put here first. If Miss is feeling a bit better, please eat, let's take a spoon or two."
Maria nodded weakly, but even smelling the smell of food was unappetizing. His stomach felt twisted and turbulent. He felt like vomiting.
Susan checked Mary's temperature again by hand, closing her employer's blanket. "If you need anything, ring a bell. Or would Miss prefer me to be with you?"
"Where are you going, Sue?" maria asked weakly when she saw her lady-in-waiting ready to go.
"Take a new layer of curtains" Susan said. "Didn't Miss ask for it? Wh why? Miss needs anything?"
"Oh, no. Go there."
Susan nodded, then left. He saw that Mary was getting pale. There was a dark circle under the girl's eyes.
It has been three days since Mary's condition. At first, it only looks weak, but then healthy. Then it was bad again, like fatigue, but before the doctor came, Maria looked healthy again. And now it's repeated.
Instead of anything unexpected happening, Susan decided to report to Mrs Garnet after adding the curtain. He will persuade Mrs Garnet to call a doctor. He went back to his master's room thinking about the right reasons to avoid Mary's anger later when he saw the doctor coming.
But all of those reasons disappeared instantly when Susan saw Mary sitting leaning on the head of the bed. Susan screamed in shock, calling for help.
It was not Maria's pale face that horrified her. Nor were the plates and glasses cluttered on the carpet, but because of Mary's own circumstances.
The girl spewed her stomach over the blanket. Coughing and vomiting. Tears flowed down her pale cheeks.
"Miss, my God, Miss!" Susan immediately put away the blanket that was hit by vomit and hurriedly grabbed a towel to wipe Maria's mouth.
"It's okay, Sue," whispered Maria weakly. Tears flowed down his cheeks. "I'm just nauseous. The smell of food makes me nauseous. I wanted to eat a little bit earlier, but so be it"
The waiter who heard Susan's screams immediately came in shock.
Something strange happened to her body, but Maria tried not to think about it. Mary closed her mouth to speak, choked, then vomited again.
