BLOODY LOVE'S

BLOODY LOVE'S
Chapter 61's

"Wow, wow, isn't there something else that should have been said before?" Nina said sharply, pushing her glasses behind her nose. "Like, 'hello what's up', 'good afternoon', or the reason why you came!"

"I've said 'hi', it represents 'hello what's up'. I've also said, 'may I not bother you', and my purpose in coming here is to take you out to eat."

"You don't know manners!" sembur Nina.

"There's something I want to ask you about the old files I borrowed," Jose said quickly. He has no time for pleasantries.

Nina raised both her eyebrows high. "You're threatening me?"

"No," Jose said in shock. "I'm serious about just discussing something."

Nina was silent for a moment, observing the man critically. He has often found pranksters who are just looking for reasons to seduce. But Jose is different. Those black eyeballs exuded seriousness.

"It's like, it's not just about duty, is it?"

Jose laughed a little. "Your hunch is sharp. So, you ready?"

Nina twists her eyeballs. "I don't think I have a choice."

The sentence was considered approval by Jose, who immediately dragged him down the street.

"You didn't bring a car?" nina asked in surprise when Jose asked her to walk.

"For what? The road has reached its destination. The use of the car is just a show," said Jose origin. He rarely takes a car to train his feet. Just like other skills such as foreign languages or playing music, body art can also be blunt if not trained.

"That's also a show-off?" Nina pointed across the street with her chin.

Jose turned his head, his eyes catching a magnificent classical-style building. The wall paint was dull white, but the windows that adorned the smooth walls were impeccable, revealing men dressed in perlente in them.

Discussion Building.

Jose stared at the building with a hint of sadness, the thing that Nina had also arrested, making the girl so think that maybe Jose had lost arguing there.

"Well, that one also includes show-off." Jose agreed.

Nina did not respond anymore. Jose pointed to the restaurant he chose, making the girl swerve.

That place is not fancy at all. Not a top class place. In fact, it is not worth mentioning a restaurant. Nina prefers to call it a food stall.

"This is your place of choice?" Nina looked at the astonishment from behind the frame of her glasses. "Are you really the son of the Argent family?"

Jose chuckles. "Why? You expect me to take you to an expensive restaurant? The place is aching, and your clothes don't fit."

Nina clenched her mouth tightly, feeling embarrassed. It was true, she only wore simple dresses and cheap shoes, not a sparkling canal dress.

Jose glanced at the girl with a gloating face. "This place is not fancy, but the food is good. You're gonna love it."

Marcos.

Not far from the two, Marco watched from inside the car. He had wanted to stop by the Discussion Building first to meet the Director of the Archive— Center, the man was always there in the Discussion Building to spread the network—but even saw his nephew walking along with the girl in sight clearly it came from the commoner class.

His nephew had Argent's distinctive black hair and eyes, he looked above average. What makes Marco happy is that although Jose always escapes from the lessons he gives, even though Jose is very lazy to do or get involved in something in academia, but his nephew is a smart person. He knew that all the books in Argent's home library had been read by Jose, even Hegel's difficult tome.

Marco had greater expectations for Jose than for the other Argentian children. The first to third sons had Argent's distinctive sharpness, but lacked sufficient integrity. Of course they are the best in their own field, but Marco always feels disappointed. They do not all know how to communicate with others. Communicating Marco's intent is to know the dark sides of Bjork and control the people in it.

Only Jose can. Marco knew that his nephew was always ‘using’ Krip as an information provider. Marco has many other men hiding in the dark, watching Jose's movements. Marco realizes that his fourth nephew has a knack for grounding Bjork in the same way he did.

That's why Marco intends to choose a suitable partner with Jose. A couple who won't trouble Argent's family. Appropriate women, who know the rules of ethics and know when to be quiet and when to talk. Unfortunately, all the candidates offered by Marco were rejected.

And now, Jose is even close to strange women. The little boy from Bjork to the south, and now there's another commoner.

Marco left the driver and his car in front of the Discussion Building, but did not enter the building as originally planned. His feet took a long step towards the small restaurant across the street.

When he entered, the waiter who greeted him stammered, not expecting to be visited by a Marco Argent. The old man didn't bully the waiter who asked him stammeringly. His eyes swept through the room, looking for where Jose and his old friend were.

He found his nephew in a slightly hidden place. From where he stood, Marco only saw Jose's back and the face of the bespectacled woman. Both of them may be talking about serious things judging from the woman's tense face. Marco walked over, preferring to sit at the table behind Jose rather than greet them. He needs to know what the two are talking about.

“I don't understand your point, Mr. Jose Argent ... ”

Marco heard a female voice, then nodded calmly. At the very least, that person had standard decency and greeted his nephew ethically, instead of directly mentioning his first name like Nolan did.

“I am a librarian, not a library. If you really want to know the list of people who lived twenty years ago, just come to the Archive Center. Search for yourself there.”

A waiter came to Marco, politely giving the menu. Marco told him to step aside. He would not eat or drink in a place like this. Even his hygiene is doubtful. His head was pushed back, Marco put his ears in fine.

“Alright, but at least, you must know about Sir William Bannet, right?” Now Jose's voice.

“The new guy? Who doesn't know? He often comes to the Archive Center.”

“Wah!” jose was shocked. Not only Jose, even Marco sharpened his hearing.

“Indeed, what did he borrow?”

“The list is in the Archive Center. I told you, right? But what do you know about that for?”

“Hunting vampire,” Jose said with a laugh. His tone sounded as if he was joking, but Marco felt otherwise. He got up and walked away from that place. Outside, a skinny man wearing a pet hat ran towards him with a red face from his breathlessness.

Marco frowned, recognizing her as one of the servants in the house. He guessed that the waiter must have brought important news from home.

Strange, he thought, usually Jack who served back and forth as a messenger.
