BLOODY LOVE'S

BLOODY LOVE'S
Episode 197's

William walked down the steps slowly, counting the time. He was actually lazy to spill more blood, but the city turned suspicious in recent days, and he didn't want to take the risk. In the past, Marco Argent drove him away and he chose to surrender. But it won't happen again this time. Now he has learned to be more careful.

"Are you the one who did this?" chirps Rolan.

William stopped in the middle of the steps. His blue eyes observed Rolan, astonished that the man could maintain his composure even in this kind of situation.

Thinking of not catching what he meant, Rolan shook his hands around, towards Bjork who was frozen quiet. "I mean this," he insisted. "Everyone is missing, there's no noise, the temperature drops. Is it an illusion or are they completely gone? You did this, right?"

"It's not me" William decided there was no harm in being honest with the man who was about to die. He looked to the side, to the side of his shoulder. Black material slips out of its pores through each fiber of clothing, the material forms a thick black smoke puff that coils wildly. From the darkness, the gates of hell opened and the devil appeared. One goat's head was stretched out from the sidelines of the thick smoke, its snout was open, calling Rolan's name in many languages, reciting one by one his sins.

"Is he a demon? Or are you the devil?" asked Rolan astonished without batting, his nut brown eyes seemed interested. "What's her name? The devil has a name, right?"

William silent. The grip on his metallic stick tightened. He does not like people who do not feel afraid to see the devil. Bjork is a strange city. His demonic power was restricted in many places. He could not even cross the river that bounded the southern part of the city, no matter how hard he tried. His necklace was hidden there by Duke Ashington and he couldn't take it. Too many strange coincidences that he did not like happened here, and now all the cities were filled with the fragrance of lavender. "Do you know his name?" tanyanya cold. "You can get to know him in person."

Rolan was still standing in his place. Instead of escaping, the man launched another question, "Did you kill Mr. Wallace?"

William remembered the puffer. A disgusting man who worshiped her excessively and said he would bring her a necklace, but could do nothing.

"He died alone." William shrugged his shoulders. His hand was raised to the side, stroking the head of the goat that was at his side. "As soon as he saw this, he died alone. I haven't finished talking to him."

Rolan nodded. "Did you come to Higgins' hut, too? I mean, to Argent's house, when I was with two other men? Are you the one who shouted from the outside calling us in the voices of Marco and Jose?"

William remembered that night. He nodded easily. "I felt my necklace in Argent's house, I just wanted to take it back. It's memento from my lover."

"You killed Higgins, too? You suck the blood of everyone in Bjork, too?"

William laughed softly, now understanding what Rolan wanted to do. He stepped closer, and this time the doctor began to walk back in alarm. "I locked Bjork within twenty meters with us as the center," he said. They talk while continuing down the stairs. "You mean to buy some time, think things will get back to normal sooner or later, don't you? Too bad, no one will come. No help will show up for you. You can try screaming, if you want. See for yourself what's going on."

Rolam gulped. His hand was holding a small knife. The man's nut-brown eyes twitched uneasily, looking for something around him that could be used for shelter. William knew the man was going to play a trick. Maybe take advantage of the sunlight, maybe throw sand into his eyes, maybe run and trap him like Krip did last night. Whatever it was, William didn't want to wait any longer to find out. He felt uncomfortable being in Bjork for too long. The city rejected it. He does not like to be rejected.

William didn't really want to kill too many people. It needs to save enough lives as a duty to open the gates of transmutation and evocation when the eclipse arrives, as a condition of soul exchange. But letting Argent's people live longer might endanger him. William didn't want to take any chances.

"You made the undead" said Rolan. Although trying to look calm, but his voice was still trembling.

William smiled at her. He likes to hear humans tremble in fear like a little mouse in front of a cat. "Indeed. Some people can be made alive, but some even die in an experiment." He retraced forward and Rolan stepped back slightly.

They were already quite far away from the Archive Center. William tells Rolan to retreat down the lonely main road of Bjork.

William frowned. As he had expected, the Argent people were indeed annoying. They all have sharp instincts. Although they were very weak and could die in a single stampede, they always fought back. "Why do you want to know people's business?" tanyanya rouse. He hates humans who fight. Medium and tumumbar had never fought so hard before. They all quickly lost their spirit of life and gave up once they saw the demon.

Is it because it's the last one, or is it because this fucking town is weird?

William really hates Bjork. This place and the rest of the people always stubbornly rejected it, fighting it. If Duke Ashington had not taken his necklace to this place, he would not have gone back to Bjork.

The demon that was still writhing from the sidelines of the black smoke on his back began to grow impatient. The creature let out a long groan that resembled a whining beast. Another head came up from the goat's neck. At first there was only a lump of flesh like cancer on the neck, then the clot enlarged in boiling fainting, and formed the form of a rooster's head. His cock slid the bushel of the death angel's trumpet, shaking the ground. Rolan fell on the ground hearing it. His little knife was thrown helplessly.

William glanced at it, feeling the sight of the beasts turning completely black. He returned his gaze to Rolan who was still fingering the suit, looking for another weapon.

"Doctor," he said. He himself stopped in place. His smile was slanted. "You want to know how those people got their blood sucked out so that the whole bearer was clean?"

Rolan laughed softly. His eyes were fixed on the two demon heads that protruded from between the smoke of hell. "Why are you doing this, sir?"

"Why do snakes eat rats?" reply William cold. "That's the food chain, Doctor. You, humans, are the victims. While I'm the predator."

And I need Bella to stay alive. That one doesn't need to be known to Rolan. William shook his hand, letting his demons stick out his body and pull out a tongue that was like a sharp trunk from between his muzzles. Rolan let out a long scream.

"Sir William!" a voice erupted like a whip right before the devil's trunk touched Rolan.

For the first time in centuries, William felt his heart thump in a jolt of shock. His body feels stiff. No one should be able to get close without his permission. No one should be able to enter a territory that has been given a protective shield by its demons.

He knows that voice. It was the voice of Jose Argent, the damned brat who had always looked at him suspiciously from the start and looked for trouble with him. He turned his body slowly to the right. It was there that the human boy, ten meters away from him, pointed a weapon at him. William just blinked at the long barrel gun muzzle pointed at him. There is no time to escape. The gun was barking before he could think. Something silvery colored whipped up at him at high speed, hitting his skull hard until his body was thrown backwards starting from the head first.

The world seems to be spinning. The sky is so blue.

For a moment, his instincts took over and his demons moved following. At least he had to kill Rolan before he fell. But before the demon had time to fulfill his wish, he heard Jose exclaim aloud to call him once more. Within a split second before his head hit the ground, William's tail caught sight of how Jose threw something high into the sky. It glistened in the sunlight.

Then Jose cocked his rifle back and aimed upwards, towards the shiny object.

William felt stung. The one being targeted was his necklace. Arabella Necklace. His demons roared in a long vow right at the moment the sound of a rifle erupted in the air.

Ah, how much he hates all Argent.
