BLOODY LOVE'S

BLOODY LOVE'S
Episode 82

"Krip," Jose gently scolds. He lowered his leg, breathing out. "I know you're worried about me. I didn't mean to pressure you. Really am. I will do what is safe for me. Do you think I'm that stupid and walk myself into the abyss or what about after hearing what you know? How can I be someone who deserves respect if I don't know anything? What am I compared to Uncle Marco?"

"Little Master, Master inherited the sharp charism of a true Argent,"

"There is no charisma if you always call me Little Master" cut Jose ketus, but with witty eyes. "Please, say, Krip. Do you want to make me beg?"

"No, Sir." Krip shook his head quickly, looking terrified. The master pleading with the servant is a nightmare for all the workers. "No, Little Lord just command, then I will do! Please don't humble yourself!"

Jose smiled faintly, admiring how much loyalty and respect his uncle's workers placed in the Argent Family.

"I can't say anything Sir, my mouth is completely locked" Krip said in a statement. "But one thing I can tell you about the body you just found."

"What did I find with Nolan?" Jose raised both eyebrows.

"Yes, sir, I know his identity and how he died. If you're interested, I can say it, but please, that's all I can give you."

Jose tapped his finger on the wooden table, making a short long distance that beat the sound of the clock seconds in the shop. Finally, he just nodded.

The crew was happy. "His name is Gladys" he said. Just there, it stopped. His face was creaking strangely, like cursing himself.

"Why?" Jose put his cheek over his fist. His eyes stared hard. "His name is Gladys, and he's why?"

Krip raises face. His eyes stared badly. "From Sir's reaction, it seems like you already know ..."

"Krip, do you want me to tell you in detail what should have happened to Sean?" Even Jose's cheeks and ears were hot from the embarrassment of using a threat like this.

Threats work. Krip immediately revealed what he knew. "He was the servant of the Bannet family. An investigation is underway, sir. Surprisingly, not many servants knew who he was. They work in the same house. The butler only remembered faintly, he said, because Gladys was not a talkative child."

"It's weird" Jose commented. "It's not like that how the Chief Servant works."

"Indeed not." Krip shakes in agreement. "The Gladys died eighteen hours before you found them. There was no trace of him dying there. There's a hole in the large artery. Small holes, maybe because of insects or something." The bald man brought his face closer to Jose as he whispered, "There's still blood, but it's slightly reduced."

"Blood doesn't evaporate, does it?" Jose smile.

"There was no wound other than a small hole in the neck. There was no blood there either. According to the information, he is also not in his monthly period."

Jose raised both eyebrows until they curved perfectly. Sometimes he wondered how the Krip Work so that he could get information that quickly. The police will lose too.

"Then? What did Sir William say?" Jose asked.

"Lord Bannet said, he does not count the number of servants. He left the affairs of the maid entirely to the Chief Servant, so did not know that there was one missing."

Jose nodded slowly. "Then, what was he doing at my house yesterday afternoon?"

Krip looked at Jose carefully, but said nothing.

"Find Mr. Wallace."

Jose's blood rippled in horror. Krip buyak surprise.

The two turned stiff at the same time, finding again the golden-haired man was in front of the counter, smiling in a very sweet manner.

Jose couldn't hide his surprise. He did not feel or smell anyone coming. Though as an expert to run away and hide, that instinct has grown naturally in him. Even Sir William is still a ghost to him. The man was in front of her, but it felt unreal.

"Good day, Mr Jose Argent? I hope I didn't surprise you." As insinuating, the man smiled widely.

Jose smiled back, taking his eyes off the collar of Sir William. It was thin, but he saw something strange at the end of the collar. Dark brown colored stain.

Like dried blood.

William smiled back, while Krip quietly glanced at the second drawer on the cashier's desk, making sure where his gun was.

"You did surprise me, Mr. Bannet," Jose said, "Is it your custom to come without a sound?"

"Sometimes I can indeed be as slow as the wind, not audible to people who are quite off guard."

The tone of the voice was so piercing, it made Jose realize that his conversation must have been heard just now. Ears heating up. "Weird," she replied with a smile. "I heard, thieves have similar skills as well."

Sir William stared with threatening eyes, taking a step closer to them. "I heard that the fourth son of the Argent family used to creep up late at night on the roofs of the city and the stone walls" he whispered with a smile. "Like a thief."

Jose immediately raised his hand in front of them, not offended by the counter-attack, but because he saw Krip preparing to get up. Despite knowing that the Argent family informant would definitely not act rashly, he remained worried that suddenly the middle-aged man took out a weapon and threatened Sir William.

"It wasn't me who stole the other person's talk" said Jose, lowering his hand. "You better remember that."

"At least, I did it by accident" Sir William said. "And I'm not gossiping about anyone else."

"Oh, you misunderstand me, Mr. Bannet," Jose got up from his seat, circled the counter table, and stood opposite Sir William. "I was just wondering who came to my house when I wasn't around, and for what purpose. Since I happen to be unaware of your existence here, I can't possibly ask you directly, what are you doing there, right?"

"Oh, and you decided to ask the grocery store owner?"

Jose glances at Krip, realizing that the man could be in danger. "Who am I talking to, it seems so important to you, huh?"

"Question only. Usually, people would ask the butler or the person in the house, not the old man who lived a kilo from his house."

"He's a supplier for the home kitchen." Jose shrugged his shoulders. "And he's the only one in this store to talk to. Speaking of waiters, I heard about your waiter. I'm so sorry."

Sir William gave a strange smile, giving a glimpse of Jose's hair goosebumps.
