Babysitter For Rain

Babysitter For Rain
CHAPTER 19

From that day on, the words Rain spoke became more and more. Every question Ana gave was always given a long enough answer. Although not too many sentences, but this progress includes encouraging for Ana.

Almost every day Ana invites him to chat, makes him tell stories, or even makes him sing. Ana did whatever it took to get Rain to talk.

"So, what are we going to do today?" asked Ana one morning while Rain was off school.

"Bikin cupcake ...," replied Rain excitedly.

"Yes ... Rain what do you want to taste?"

"Rain likes chocolate. Rain can I have a taste of cheese?"

"Of course you can ..," Ana replied while hugging and kissing him.

Both Ana and Rain, they both enjoyed their time together. Marius' house, which was usually quiet from the laughter of children, now feels so alive when Ana and Rain are having fun.

"I haven't seen a house like this since ... Adam's brother left" Lucas told Marius, who was watching Ana and Rain cooking in the kitchen.

Marius did not comment on Lucas' statement. His attention was only focused on Ana and also Rain who were laughing because Ana gave the cream on Rain's nose. Sometimes he laughs when he hears Rain's little laugh. Marius was very fond of the scenery he was seeing at the moment.

......................

While Rain was napping, Ana went downstairs to prepare an afternoon snack for Rain. Sometimes Rain asks Ana specifically to do something, even though the cooks in the kitchen can make her better than Ana.

Like the chocochip cookies that Ana is currently carrying for her, with a glass of Rain's favorite milk. "Now just wait for Rain to get up and finish bathing," Inner Ana.

As Ana climbs the stairs, she runs into a waiter. Ana had never seen a waiter working at Marius' house who looked so beautiful. From the way it walked it also looked very graceful, unlike the other maids. Ana felt something strange from the waiter.

"Hmm, sorry ... are you a new servant?," asked Ana shortly after Ana passed the waiter.

Long enough the waiter turned around after Ana finished asking, Ana would almost repeat her question out of doubt if the waiter heard her.

"No, Miss Ana. I have worked here for a long time. I was recently assigned to serve Miss Rain," she replied with her beautiful smile.

Ana lowered her gaze to the nametag the maid was wearing.

"your name ... Nora?" asked Ana.

"Yes, Miss. My name is Nora."

Ana intends to ask again, as Eli's voice suddenly makes their conversation cut off.

"What are you doing here? Is your job done?"

Nora bows her body to Eli. "I'm sorry, Miss Eli. I have completed my task. Miss Ana was talking to me before I got off" replied Nora.

"No, no. Sorry for stopping it. I just ... invited him to meet, because this is the first time I've met him."

"In that case, I'm sorry, I'll tell him to come down immediately. The work he has to do is still a lot. Please understand, Miss Ana."

"Ah, yes. I'm the one who should be apologizing."

Once again, Nora bent her body before she left Ana and Eli. Ana still notices Nora's passing until she completely disappears from her sight

"If Miss Ana needs anything, Miss can talk to me right away. Please do not interfere with the duties of the servants."

"Pardon me."

Ana feels guilty when Eli tells her that. In fact, not only with Nora, Eli also forbade Ana to talk to other servants.

Ana once tried to mingle with other servants, so that she would not be lonely when she needed a friend to chat. But when Eli saw her, Eli did the same thing that happened to Nora.

Ana did not understand, why was she not allowed to chat with the servants? Though when viewed from his position should be Ana is on the same level as the servants. But, for some reason, Eli doesn't seem to like it when Ana talks to them. Sometimes because of that too, Ana feels lonely living in Marius' house.

Ana finally continues her journey to Rain's room after Eli leaves. With a snack for Rain, Ana looks at the watch in her hand telling her that it is time for Rain to wake up.

As Ana walks into Rain's room, she sees Rain's empty bed. Ana also did not see Rain in any corner of her room.

Ana thinks the child is in the bathroom, but she doesn't find it either when she checks on him. Then, "Where's Rain?" Ana thought.

Just as Ana was about to come out of Rain's room to look for her outside, Ana faintly heard the sound of crying.

"Rain?" call Ana.

Ana searches for the origin of the sound, and it becomes clearer as Ana approaches the pile of Rain plush toys in her toy collection. Ana immediately removes one-by-one plush toys, and gets Rain hiding behind her most massive plush toys.

Rain was seen hugging his legs and buried his face between his legs. She cried, it seemed like she had been crying for a long time.

"Wheel! What's the matter, honey?" asked Ana worriedly. She carried Rain and placed him on her lap. Ana hugged the little girl and rubbed her back. Rain continued to cry in Ana's arms.

"Rain .. What's wrong? Why are you crying, baby? Are you having a nightmare?" asked Ana again.

Ana was still trying to calm Rain down. Occasionally he made Rain raise his face, so that Ana could see his face. Ana can see Rain's almost red, swollen eyes. "How long has she been crying like this?" Ana thought anxiously.

Almost 30 minutes after Rain was found, he still remained speechless. Rain still continued to cry even though Ana kept asking. Ana could only try to calm her down, so that the little girl could stop crying.

Ana had no idea what had happened to Rain. All afternoon, Rain was fine. They even laughed together. Ana only left him for a while while Rain was napping. Then, why was it that when Ana came back she found Rain crying like that? What the hell is going on?
